Got a couple as additional case fans. The air displacement is pretty good for such a low rpm.

Cons:No led.

Pros:low noise, good CFM to noise ratio

I bought it for a friends. The fan don't produce too much noise and have a great noise to CFM ratio. This is perfect for an HTPC or a computer in a bedroom.

Practically Silent great for HTPC. None as of yet. Keeping my video card about 40c (was 65c with no it) with full 1080p heavy load blu-ray rips.

Dead silent. Makes no audible noise at all. Looks sweet. Moves really little air. Most 80mm fans move more air than this. A tiny pricey. I must have got the similar fan with a greater rpm level. Moves sufficient air for 90% of PCs out there but for 12$ I was expecting the 40cfm it claims.

Comment:
The fan is silent. Pushes less air than my other 40 cfm fans. I would get additional but I am worried I may need to have a tiny much more air flow than they will provide. There is a screen if front of the fan as I have it installed on my case. This may well be decreasing the flow a bit but like I said it isn't as powerful as my other folks.

These fans are a great bargain for the pc user that wants decent airflow and quiet operation at a good cost. I use these fans to cool my ATI Radeon 4890. They function properly to preserve temps down. None really. Prior to you pick a case fan, generally make sure you choose the appropriate fan for the intended cooling purpose.

This factor is quiet! I'm quite picky about fan noise and I commonly under volt fans to the 5V rail to make them quieter, but this one particular is the most silent fan I've ever heard (or rather not heard). I didn't even need to under volt it! Airflow sucks, don't expect to use this fan for something other than quite typical cooling (non-enthusiast). I ended up utilizing a bunch of SY1225SL12M rather for my utilizes due to the fact I needed far more airflow than this fan had to present.

800 rpm is wonderfully silent. The kit comes with a native cable for three-pin technique board connections. Included in the kit is an adapter for standard Molex connectors and a pass-via.This fan moves adequate air for property theater applications. A pair applied on the new Mugen-II cooler, in push-pull is perfect for silent cooling. This is a sleeve bearing fan so it need to be employed with the blades vertical, fan shaft horizontal with the ground. Utilised with an Antec P183 or SOLO case, this fan produces enough airflow for disk cooling without noise.

Comment:
Quite high excellent, totally silent sleeve bearing fan.Utilized with push/pull arrangement on Mugen-II cooler and P55-USB3 board for 30C temps with i7-870.Bolt-via mounting kit is very solid. Price is a bit high and varies. Evidently this fan got popular, so the value went up.Sleeve bearing fans burn out quick when run with the axis other than horizontal. This is a non-dilemma when employed as a case fan or push/pull on the Mugen-II. Comes with a Molex adapter, and separate tach sense plug. Excellent concept. Corners are open, enables uncomplicated attach to Mugen-II with cable ties. Incredibly tricky discovering 2nd set of spring clips for Mugen-II, but cable ties operate perfectly with this fan.

Close to Silent, 3-4 pin adapter included. Low-med airflow. It's barely keeping up with my mega overclock on my q6600. I'd advise the 800RPM as a case fan, for applications such as CPU or VGA cooler, I'd go 1200񳈰 RPM. These genuinely are quiet though, excellent as a case fan (or cooling a processor at stock-low OC speed).

I bought this fan for my Rosewill R102-P-BK case. The original fan in it was quite loud. This fan is whisper quiet. My fan runs at 900-1000 RPM (which is right because on the box it is rated at 800 +/-). I can't even hear this fan running its so quiet. Doesn't move a whole lot of air as other reviewers have stated. This quiet 120mm fan is for non-performance (gaming) PCs or HTPCs. It is ideal for people who require a quiet Pc.

I've purcahsed 2 of these and Wow, I am not dissapointed 1 BIT!. I have a total of five fans in my case at the moment, and the loudest factor is my ZALMAN CPU cooler. (which is even at lowest fan speed). Now I can sleep with my pc on =)None of the fan's are even plugged into my fan controller anymore and I doubt I need it. What? I'm not more than clocking and my computer is deemed "STEALTH" now!!! Upgraded from two stock Lian Li 120MM fan's and these two at max speed are nonetheless quieter than the stock at lowest fan speeds.....

Fantastic for the appropriate circumstance. Low profile for clearing case fans, yet sets high adequate to clear most RAM sticks. Can be oriented in diverse directions for clearance or esthetics. Copper base finished to mirror polish. Downdraft cools memory sticks and other elements of board such as NB. Not really loud. May possibly not be the very best choice for some circumstances. The fan blows straight down against the MOBO and in some instances there could be a dilemma with the hot air swirling back up and finding picked up by the fan for one more pass through the heatsink. This would eventually raise temps. Also the directions aren't incredibly useful. They are in about each and every language ever invented, even Hungarian, and my wife, who is Hungarian, says they are even worse than the English section. Chingarian? In my computer system I have the PSU with it's 120 mm fan just above the CPU, an 80mm fan blowing straight out the back of the case just behind CPU, one more 80mm fan on leading just ahead of CPU, and another 80mm blowing out the side just ahead of MOBO. There is NO chance for any swirl effect to take place. Air goes via heatsink, hits MOBO, and is evacuated out from behind, above, and in front. CPU runs at 32C at idle, and in no way gets considerably above that. This factor functions very properly with the right setup. And it doesn't dominate the inside of the case like some coolers. It tucks in surprisingly compactly for such a huge cooler. I believe most RAM will fit under it, but some thing with high fins could require the inside stick mounted just before the cooler. Typical height RAM install very easily with cooler in place.I advise this cooler/fan solution extremely but recommend you analyze your airflow pattern. Use with Arctic Silver5.

Very good airflow taking into consideration the low RPM. Affordable. 3-wire energy cable is bound together like a ribbon cable. Considerably louder than expected. Feels flimsy. Really brief power cable (about 6 inches). I bought these for a silent PC project. With a fan controller I was able to make these silent, but only soon after minimizing their speed by at least 50%. I'm underwhelmed by this item, but I was nonetheless in a position to make it work for me.

Excellent Air-Flow the Noise Ratio. I have 4 in my Antec 1200. Noise lvl has drop A LOT! Air Flow from these fan is a lot more then sufficient for my program. Method temps are the exact identical from the replaced tri-cool fans. Not dissing the tri-cool fans, just wanted less noise and it worked. They don't make a 60mm fan :( Now I have to locate some 1 to get the tri-cool fans
