Have called tech support and tried their suggestions (removing the x64 files), but x86 drivers still give an error ''driver not intended for this platform.'' Also, according to their web site only the h/w rev 3 will work. This unit gets a big fat ZERO.

Waited on hold for someone at TrendNet for over 15 mintues and then got technician who was very difficult to understand.

TRENDnet TEW-424UB USB Wireless Network AdapterI boguht 2 of these to replace some broken adaptors. Installation was a snap, but began experiencing performance problems right away. Both installs are under WINXP, and the hardware/software drivers continually fail. Had to reinstall 5 times and finally gave up, as I use one of the units to work from home and have to access HQ computers through citrix. Sessions continually ''bomb out'' with XP ''losing'' the drivers out of theclear blue. Thought mayber it was the desktop unit, but the same thing happens on a second desktop that my son is using. Threw it in the trash and got a linksys to match my router and everything is now fine.

TRENDnet TEW-432BRP Wireless G RouterI just picked up this router to set up a network in my apartment. It may not be flashy, but does everything I need it to do. I have yet to ever loose the signal entirely, signal strength varies a little, but not enough to prevent a conection speed of 54.0 Mbps. (This is even with a 10 dollar Zonet wireless card) The router is not incredibly far from this computer, but it is a floor down from me. Setup menu for the router is also user friendly! If you are setting up a simple wireless network on a budget, you will not be disapointed.

However I use OpenSUSE 10.2 (Linux) for the internet, so getting this device to work was a bit of a challenge, since the Windows .inf and .sys files are not visible on the CD. You have to find them in a Windows partition after an installation there. It does work well with SUSE using 'ndiswrapper'. Trendnet should not ignore Linux.

TRENDnet TEW-432BRP Wireless G RouterThis is a pretty good router. I would recommend it to anyone. I really only wanted a wired router for my new cable modem. But, hey at this price. The signal to a computer about 3 rooms away is fairly week...connecting at 24mbps with a 20-25 percent signal. Not so good range (hence the four). But, for this price. It is a good deal.

TRENDnet TEW-432BRP Wireless G RouterGreat product i would suggest this to anyone. i got mine with a 30 trial of Network Magic Premium but after it turned to basic no problem it still repairs identifies problems within the network which was great. I hooked up a HP LaserJet 4 networked and sharing it with one wireless comp and wired comp. I had an old Gigafast router which was horible to me. I acctually have 2 routers on my network and the trendnet recognized that and made itself very friendly unlike the gigafast!

Cons: Cannot think of any.

After having to re-install it a couple times due to it failing to receive signal I thought I'd try this unit for my younger daughter. It looked simple enough. I was really impressed with how easy this was to set up, and the connection is really great! I recently bought another for my son's room. I highly recommend when you have multiple computers on a wireless router.

If you type in a wrong MAC address for the very first machine, you can NEVER gain access to the router ever again. Be careful. Other then that this is a good router for general use with average signal strength.

TRENDnet TEW-432BRP Wireless G Routerworks great for normal use. tried setting up security (encryption and mac address filtering) on it but it was being a pain, so i quit. i don't know more than what i've figured out on my own in that area so maybe i was just missing something. i've also had some problems setting it up with other routers. here at home it works great with my other router, but i tried using it in conjunction with a friend's router at a lan party and wasted an hour trying to make it work. could've just been his router... i never did find out what the problem was

TRENDnet TEW-424UB USB Wireless Network AdapterI bought 3 of them to connect to my Netgear WGR614 router. All 3 work flawlessly! Install the drivers, plug it in to the USB port and away you go! I have a 2 story house with the router on the first floor near the front. One of my PCs is on the second floor near the back of the house. The signal strength is good and link quality is also good. These are excellent adapters.
