My gripe is that I've misplaced the driver disk and Trendnet has their site set up in such a way that you CANNOT access it in any way to download a driver or get support in general, UNLESS you have a user name and password for the site. NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE..........

Took minutes to install the software and was connected right away. It picked up 3 networks in my area, but doesn't pick up the faint signal my acer laptop picks up (doesn't connect to it anyway). I'm very pleased with the performance and would recommened it to anyone.

TRENDnet TEW-424UB USB Wireless Network AdapterI have 6 wireless cards of various makes and models and have had very minimal issues with any of them. Until this one. First off, it comes with a USB extender that is all of, maybe, 2 inches. Not to worry, I had come prepared since USB adapters are notorious for bad connections when in extremely close proximity to the pc. The software took a bit to configure, but I got it and the drivers installed. Big Problem, I was not able to get it to see my network....At all. The application just kept scanning the channels over and over. I conducted a multitude of troubleshooting which, unfortunately, I cannot go into because the apparent size limit on this review. 2 hours later I was finally able to get the network detected. Still not sure what changed. Since then it has worked great. It seems to keep a decent signal and doesn't drop too often. OPINION: I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS ADAPTER TO ANYONE WHO IS NOT VERY FAMILIAR WITH THE WORKINGS/CONFIGS OF WIRELESS NETWORKS.

TRENDnet TEW-424UB USB Wireless Network Adapterpretty good, sometimes it disconnects and you have to reconnect it. If you aren't afraid of opening your computer, I would reccomend the PCI adapters because they get much better signal strength.
