Cost, reliability, easy to use. I've owned two for more than a year and they each work as advertised. Doesn't have USB ports for USB keyboard/mouse, only has PSǘ inputs. I wouldn't expect it to at this cost, but it would be good.

Not a lot to say about it but it works fine. Appear closely at the image of the front. there is a tiny rubber oval cover exactly where the mouse and keyboard pass via before entering the device. This rubber cover is just a sticker. The holes on this cover are a bit too small. The mouse and keyboard do simply fit into the device, on the other hand, if you remove them, the cover constantly comes off. I just discarded the cover. The device nevertheless works fine though.

I've utilized this little KVM switch for just over a year. It died these days soon after many computers being swapped in and out. I believe a energy surge might have accomplished it in...but it was excellent for what I necessary it for, and for the price. Wished it would've lived a bit longer... I can't genuinely give it a lot more than threeǛ since of the lack of longevity, but I am not an "average" user. For anybody who'll have it plugged into to machines and not swap them out daily, I'd recommend this 1...specially for the sale I got it for at Radio Shack (I feel it was บ).

Lets me easily switch in between my Xbox 360 and monitor. Poor display(fuzzy text). Based how you are this could be a important or minor annoyance. I'm still undecided at this point. I have two ViewSonic 20" monitors(VX2035wm) operating 1680x1050 res. I'm making use of the KVM on the proper monitor and if you pull up a text page it's effortless to tell the distinction. The non-kvm monitor displays sharp text whilst the kvm monitor is fuzzy.

None DEAD. If it did operate, I was nevertheless disappointed in how brief the keyboard and mouse cables were going into the laptop or computer. I was going to location this switch somewhere close to the front of the desk to toggle computers, however the psǘ cables includeded had been way too brief and wouldn't reach. I'd have to crawl back to switch it anyways, which is what I was attempting to stay away from by buying it. Ironically the VGA cables provided had been twice as long and would have worked just fine, definitely this product was not Q/A'd.It's a non-concern as the item was DOA and I paid to have it shipped back.

Been utilizing for two years and no complications. Definitely makes constructing new systems less complicated (no a lot more pulling out the box and switching cable saround only to discover there were drivers on the old box I required for the new box). NONE Difficulty free for two years. Makes life a lot less difficult..

Does the job. None. Employing on my two old boxes AMD 1700+ and Compaq P3 operating WinXPsp3 and Ubuntu 6 with ATI and on-board vid, respectively. 17" CRT 1280x1024. Generic PS2 KB. Logitech USB mouse w/PS2 adapter. No probs with any of it; switches back and forth seamlessly.

Low cost, and effortless to control. It cases jittering in game play (Counter Strike Source). Logitech SetPoint software program does not recognize my MX 3100 keyboard and laser mouse. The unique buttons on the keyboard, like volume control, nonetheless perform even though. This KVM is greater than most I've attempted (and I attempted quite a couple of).

Its cheap, and it works. ~ 1 second delay in switching in between PC's... although it doesn't truly both me considerably. Watch how you hook up the cables, its doesn't go how you would believe on 1st glance...read the manual.

The switch appears to function fine with a standard keyboard. The switching hotkeys are a nice feature. It was fairly affordable. The switch doesn't work appropriately with my old Gateway Anykey programmable keyboard. Following a couple of minutes of operation, some of the keys are ramdomly 'remapped.' Also, the switch seems to have slowed the mouse cursor. Even with the speed set to max in Manage Panel, it's nonetheless a bit too slow for my taste. I comprehend that there aren't too quite a few Anykeys nonetheless in use out there, so this won't be an issue for most.

modest, comes with cables required, low-cost, works great with an Xbox 360 fonts will become a small foggier, weird color This product function fine, i havent had any troubles other than the reality that fonts grow to be a small less clear. I am currently working with it wil my pc and xbox and havent had any complications. I reocmend this if you want 1. I chose this 1 because it had the most reviews :P

Modest, no random switching mode Cable connections placed nicely No sound? but I dont want that For about a year I had been employing a BELKIN KVM switch for my two PC's. It has this feature(That you cannot disable) where it'll randomly switch to a differnt PC based on some sort of signal it would receive from the cables. This feature was a nightmare for me. For no reason at all it would switch to an additional PC and when i would attempt to switch back, I'd need to wait for it to time out and switch.. at which point it would switch over and automatically switch back againm, until I unplugged ALL cables from Both PC's and rebooted. The Belkin cost me $xx+ and the TRENDNet price me $xx.. and so far it's working Terrific! You don't constantly get what you pay for

Absolutely nothing Purchased it off here, got it sent in today. Went to hook it up so I can use my 360 and my PC on my PC monitor, but it doesn't function AT ALL. I am incredibly disappointed. I connected everything correctly, but my monitor won't turn on when it is hooked up by way of the switch box, but when I hook my monitor directly to the back of my PC my monitor turns on. I hook up every little thing properly but the little lights next to the buttons on the switch box don't even turn on...I think this switch box is completely dead and I am really mad considering that I just got it in the mail nowadays and it didn't work appropriate off the rip. I suggest people not to buy this product, but maybe mine was the only failure...

Comment:
Very affordable. Basic operation. Clear video sig. Cables are too short. About 4 feet or so. I guess if the computers you intend to share are subsequent to each other it doesnt matter, but mine are not. So it matters. Also, the cables are accurate KVM on one end and terminal on the other. In brief, if you want to put longer cables on it, you're going to need to do it on the laptop or computer side, not the switch side. They got inexpensive, and saved the expense of the cabling for the keyboard and mouse by piping it through the d-sub connector of the monitor. This is all well and excellent unless you need to have a longer reach. A basic monitor extension cable won't cut it. You'll need ps2 extemsions as nicely.
