Bought this to attach to my Raptor in my initially create. Looks excellent, isn't too bright, but it does the job. Haven't had any meltdowns yet, so I guess that's the goal. None to speak of yet.

I got these to keep my 2 WD Velociraptors cool, and well, it does it, very nicely too. none In case any individual was questioning how I got these fitted onto the WD Velociraptors, I didn't. Appears to be an all right cooler. I bought two, and installed them both. The 1 that works effectively is wonderful. When I 1st began the pc right after the installation the difficult disk the second cooler was attached to suddenly shorted with smoke and flame. 1 of the chips outright fried. The tricky disk was still reasonably young ƒ years) and up until that point had had no issues whatsoever. I don't feel it was a coincidence.

This thing does a great job of helping keep the max temps down, increases heat up time and brings the the temps back down faster. Not bad for $9 bucks!

Works great!! Had to remove after first install because I had purposely squeezed the sides very slightly to make sure they wouldn't be wider than the drive. Don't do this!! Even tho I squeezed only about a 32nd of an inch, it was enough to cause the fan to rub on the fan encasement. Removed drive, loosened screws and allowed the case to spring back. Reinstalled. NO PROBLEMS !!!

Piece of crap, don't buy it. Go with a cooling enclosure. The difference in HD temperature was negligible, don't waist your money.

Installs easily, runs well, no noise, lowered my HD temps 5-10 degrees.

Its a trippy looking fan than mounts to your HD, it works fine and it dropped my temps about 8-10 degrees. Not bad for just a few bucks. It ain't one of those big ol HD enclosures and cools it down to artic temps, if you need simple; this is the way to go. If you got a server.....get a BIGGER one.

I was really not impressed with the performance of these little HD coolers. They do keep your HD cooler, but barely. The cheaper ones from Masscool did a better job by about 5 degrees. The only reason I gave these a try is bacause the Masscool ones developed a whine.

A really cool HDD cooler, with nice led. Cools down your Hard drive, I recommend it for Big HDD 1TB or higher as these drives become hot very fast, they are also heat sensitive. So this cooler gives you low temp quit cooling and a longer HDD Life.

Last christmas, as a present to myself, bought a Seagate 250GB internal sata HD for a little more storage. After reading reviews and looking on my temp program(SpeedFan, get it it's free, just google) i noticed this HD was running much hotter than the other 2. And after reading reviews on newegg it wasn't just me. So I purchased this cooler and it dropped the temps phenominally. idle temps went from 41C down to 29C and on load with a copy or playing a video only at about 35C. It's simple and very cost effective. If you need to cool a HD, get this, you won't regret.

I have had this product for about 2 months now, and I have had no problems. I can't really tell how much cooler the hard drive is, since its and SATA drive. But my hard drive has not really been getting stuck lately. That is why I bought this to cool my drive more, cuz it was getting stuck. Its quiet and has a really cool blue color. Highly Recommended. The only problem I had was that I had to re-arrange some of my drives, cuz my computer has limited space.

Purchased two of the H/D cooling fans for my Seagate drives. Installation was a breeze, but once I tried to install the drives into the H/D bay, the holes on the drives bay slots would not align with the drives themselves. Had to slightly bend the tabs to align the screw holes. So if you are planning to install more than two (2) H/D, ensure there is enough room in the bay and that your graphics card won't be in the way by touching the back end of the drives. Everything else worked well. GREAT value for the money!

Noisy, cool not so well, a 120 mm fan would do the job depending how much HDD's you got. Overall 3 stars because Ncix website doesn't let me put 2 stars because my review was too short.

Had a bit of trouble getting my drive back inside the bracket after attaching the fan. Had to bend the metal somewhat to finally fit it into place. Installation aside it's a great little product for the price.

Ça fonctionne. Mon HDD a baissé de 4 degrés. c'est rien d'extraordinaire, mais ça aide. Il faut dire que j'ai déjà une très bonne air flow dans ma case. So la différence est pas grande.

Great buy from tiger. It cooled my hd by 13 degrees and thats a big difference! It was a bit hard to install because it wouldnt go all da way into the slot for my hard drive. I had to forcefully rip out the supports so it could fit but i guess this all depends on how slim your hd is. Good airflow and i cant hear it at all esp if your gamming with your speakers going. It can be cheaper though. The plastic isn't worth 12 bucks. Overall, good product. Would buy again. Thanks tiger!

Great little product. I have a WD raptor X 150GB and it keeps the temps at 25-30C which is great. Installation was easy except for one thing:When the fan is mounted the holes on the drivebay(holes used to mount the HD) are now a little too low but I still managed to get the HD in the drivebay no problem.The LED isn't all that bright but it's good enough for my taste. As for sound I don't even hear it over the rest of my system, which is pretty quiet, so it's not an issue.Overall, it's a great product for the low price of $8

Excellent HDD coolers! The lights are bright and vibrant. Using a tray 3.5'' system you can't put HDD's in adjacent trays. A little loud but can't beat the price!
