Cons:If your case as some special mounting for HDD it MAY not fit. It definetly not going to work in my Armor+ I ordered without some modification to the case. Anyway, you should know before ordering

Good product, got one on each of my HDD in my RAID to keep them cool. I'm going to buy one more for my other HDD. By keeping them cool, HDD will last longer. Good worth purchase for 8 bucks. |

This is a great cooler.The led lights havent wore down yet.My temps went from 34 idle to 19 ilde.I would reccomand this product for people with high harddrive temps |

I rebuilt the kids computer with a C2D processor, new motherboard, etc. in an older case with *not* the best airflow. The cooler did a nice job of knocking the HD temperature down from 50C into the 30s. I only wish that the plastic housing was either slimmer or had a slot in it where it meets the hard drive housing. I had a heck of a time trying to fit the HD & cooler into the drive bay as the plastic raises the drive by a couple millimeters and hard drive mounting holes no longer easily line up with those in the hard drive cage. |

Cons:Due to the arrangement in my small case, I had to remove the floppy drive (which I don't use anyway). If you have bays to spare, no worries.

I bought this because I have a small case with two hard drives and both were reading about 40C on without be used and would climb up above 50C whenin use. And because it's prettier and quieter than the A2376. Wow - idle temps dropped below 20C. Will be picking up a couple more with my next order. |
I was skeptical at first and unsure about the quality, but once I got this in the mail I was impressed. Installation was a bit tricky with a tight squeeze in my hard drive mounting inside the case. A few metal bends here and there, the hard drive fit fine and it went from a temp of 45/48C to 28C, very impressive. I ordered another one today, great little cooler and has a nice blue glow.
