It worked for a little though. Stopped operating after much less than 2 weeks. Router light comes on, but no front panel lights and no access by way of cable connection. It's now a paperweight and lousy nightlight. Appear elsewhere. Devote a little additional. Low rates on brief life things just aren't worth it when they quit. |

It's low cost. Right after 15 years performing network, I have observed some poor devices. But this a single takes the cake. Several instances a day, it randomly has awful, weak signal. Upon investigating additional, when it hits 1 of these periods, it was dropping 45% of packets, and the pings had been averaging 2800ms. Then, just as suddenly, the pings drop to 7ms typical, with no dropped packets. There is completely no cause for this behaviour, and ultimately, it's just frustrating. Nothing I did seemed to make any distinction relating to this baffling packet loss and high latency. Save yourself a head ache. Obtain some thing else. Heck, two coconuts to bang with each other would in all probability be a better way of communicating with the web. Although, I am not sure what protocol would accept that. |

The user interface is quite nicely created and organized. Setting up WPA2 and MAC filtering was painless. Speed is on par with my Linksys, which expense four occasions what I paid. I bought this to interface with an Argosy media player. It streams complete HD content material with no hiccups. For added security, it is effortless to disable wireless functionality if continuous wireless operation is unnecessary. Non so far. I paid ฟ for this router and cannot locate fault. Time will tell. |

Affordable Does not work, tech help is useless. Can't get my ethernet card to access this, but their tech help can't give any aid other than parroting what's in the manual. 4 distinct occasions! They apparently can't understand the process I outline for them. In this case I did not get what I paid for. I learned to go ahead and pay for a respected router brand. |

AC adapter takes two outlet spots. I will maintain on getting these, they constantly operate and are stable. I have also had great achievement with Trendnet PCI wireless cards. |

For ฟ w/free shipping you probably can't get a greater b/g wireless router. Functions good for connecting with game consoles (so far have a Wii, DS, DSi, XBOX360 running). None so far. Works flawlessly so far and really effortless to set up. If you are experiencing dropped connections (probably since your ISP DHCP server is looking for a distinct MAC address) you most likely forgot to clone the MAC address from the computer system you had connected to your modem. No need to power cycle/reset like numerous of the low rating evaluations have stated. |

Very good range and stability. Speeds constantly match my wired download and upload speeds when tested. Extremely economical, but nevertheless has WPA2 security. Effortless setup. Great selection for home or college use, as I've heard no complaints out of any individual who's connected to it. The lights constantly appear to be the exact same, so you can't tell by searching at it when it's done resetting itself or powering back on. Offered this is the only con, it's not worth losing an egg. |

When it operates, it does work. So in a sense, it's currently a far better wireless router than, say, a cucumber, or a wedge of cheese. Crashes quite frequently - usually at least once a day, even with most recent firmware. This is quire irritating when I'm the only techy person in the house. Also, no dd-wrt assistance :\ May work if your ISP gives you a static IP. But...why? Spend a couple of bucks much more and get a router that'll assistance dd-wrt. |

Inexpensive; works great; easy net interface Whomever wrote the documentation was obviously not a native English speaker This router gets the job done. It's not overly fancy, but it has all the significant functions you'd anticipate: DHCP, WPA-2, 802.11g, port forwarding, and so on. The net interface is straightforward and doesn't call for a PhD in laptop or computer science to set up. The initial setup wizard goes fast and does numerous of the configuration tasks automatically, though it does curiously skip wireless encryption; that has to be carried out after the truth if you want to not leave your hotspot wide open. The only complaint I would have about it is the documentation - even though thorough - can be a small dodgy. I hosed the initial setup (my own fault, not mainly because of the interface or device) and wanted to do a factory reset. All the included docs mention is that the reset button resets the device, not that you have to hold it for 15 seconds and then power cycle. That data had to come by way of a Google search. Thankfully I hadn't disposed of my old router so I could nevertheless get to the world wide web for Google. |

We put up with this for about 2 weeks then ordered a new one particular. A various brand of course. Unless you like to sit in front of personal computer reseting the router everyday or often many occasions a day then don't acquire this!!! You will end up pulling all of your hair out. Spend a handful of dollars additional to get a superior one particular. |

The Wizard created installation very uncomplicated. The expense (พ.99) was amazingly affordable compared to Linksys routers I have installed! I see it has elevated in cost now by ů? Not really a unfavorable but I do appear forward to the day we can use USB or SATA ports to connect and not have to mess with those 110 transformers which take up 2-three slots on a power strip. :-) |

Works effectively inside the house. It's effortless to let guests to attach for their world-wide-web/e-mail access yet keeps out intruders. Totally free software program is wonky, has to purchase upgrade from Cisco Systems, and that doesn't function with windows 7 so have to preserve the old XP box around for wireless. (Win 7 box connects OK when wired through cat 5ǜ cable) Economical, secure, hardware. Wants software upgrade, almost gave up on this but it finally worked out OK.Bought from Future Shop packaged with a 'free' USB dongle to make old laptop wireless. Bonus! |

Newegg shipped out my buy swiftly as usual and UPS delivered it ahead of their scheduled delivery date as usual. Wireless from three ft away, LoS / no obstructions had less than 25% signal strength, which would then regularly drop. Incredibly temperamental piece of junk. Either it was a faulty product or I got hosed with a negative unit that I must have returned. Whatever the case based off of this, I surely don't advocate this defunct router and will not get this brand ever again. Did not have a opportunity to install for a couple of months (long boring story), when I finally did I come across out that I wish I had so I could have recognized to return it for a new unit or for my cash back as it were.Lamesauce. |

Can be discovered affordable when on sale. MIR actually worked with no difficulties. Router worked okay for a while. Did a firmware upgrade for my Revision D1.1 and it bricked. Spending sufficient time with it, I can occasionally manage to get to the administration page, but it entails rebooting and waiting. The router is absolutely inconsistent in working immediately after resetting now. I've tried working with the administration page (when I can get to it) to re-flash the firmware back down and nothing assists. I've had a few Trendnet products now (KVM switches and routers) and they are an alright bang for the buck, but tend to be rather unreliable. In all probability the last Trendnet I purchase. |

Every little thing worked well on very first try. Wireless coverage OK. Discovered the menu navigation user friendly. Firmware update went smooth. The wall wart could use a greater design. I primarily use this as an extension off an additional router to connect more computers in the house via each ethernet cable and wireless. |

low-cost. effortless to configure. great wireless range (picked it up nearly a block away) rapid-ish lan transfer Incredibly slow and unstable wireless transfer speeds. good to browse the web but for wired pc to wifi pc transfers... forget it. if im lucky i get 1 Mb/s (megabit not megabyte) consistently drops the connection under load. now for the lan: 30 MB transfer speed and performs excellent... for about 2 hours. then the complete network farts till i reset the router. PCs will not talk to each other or connect to net. i have checked all settings, changed the mtu from the default 1500 to 1430 and that stopped the lan from crashing but did not fix the wireless speeds/stability. fantastic for wired lan if transfer speed isnt essential. replaced with a fundamental n router from d-l1nk. by no means looked back
