Although I had a bit of trouble getting everything to work together, I was finally able to get up and running in a few days. My use for this device is rather unique-connecting an iTouch with a Stage Lighting Console, everything did work and I am very happy with the results.

This is a much better router than the old G that I used to have. My Vista laptop was too much for it, but my laptop doesn't effect this router. My cable internet connection is good enough to wirelessly stream Netflix at the highest settings without blinking. Also, I no longer see a difference between lan and wireless connections in terms of download speed. My only issue with the laptop is that it gets hot. When it gets hot, the wireless resets. I noticed another review with a similar issue. I raised the router to allow more air under it, which seems to have fixed the problem. (Raising the router dropped its housing temperature by 15-20 degrees F)

I bought this product so I can run 2 computers in my home and be able to stream movies with no waiting to buffer time. Works very well. If I had to buy it again I would.... Very prompt with sending router to me as always. thanks

Installation was a bit tricky, but after calling technical support, I found out you configure the router using IE (Internet Explorer) and not Firefox. It was really easy to set up. Only downside that I saw was that it heats up too much underneath. Found out on the Net that it was a design problem on the router. It doesn't have a big enough heat sink inside to cool it off. So I put a laptop fan on low speed and it keeps it very cool. Other than that, it works good. That's why quality and performance don't get a 5 but a decent 4.

I bought this router and I works great. I can be on the second floor of my house and still get signal.... also out side down the block. The setup was easy and fast.I would buy trendnet again!

What a great deal !! I connected it and powered it up, and while I was still reading the setup instructions my son said he was online with his laptop (wirelessly). It couldn't have been easier, and it was the lowest price N router I could find.

I bought this router based on the price and the reviews. It works great but getting it set up was less than easy. We are on cable and it took some work to get all the computers, modem, and router to talk to one another. The instructions were more confusing than helpful and I ended up just winging it. I'm still having issues getting my wireless laptop online but I don't think that has anything to do with the router. All in all, I think this is a good product considering the price. Ease of set up - not so much.

I have not spent much time with this unit, set it up quickly and walked away. I really need to fuss with it more - set up some better security, check out more features, etc. but am busier using it and so far not a problem.

I bought this router fro my sister-in-law, who is computer illiterate, and she was able to set it up and get on line in a matter of minutes. Great Job.

Let me start by saying that it is a really good router for the price.It is based on the same hardware than the DIR-615 from dlink (it is even possible to install the dlink's firmware on it with some tweaking).The 400Mhz artheros CPU is really fast and it comes with the POINTEC PT461616HG ram chip that is really, really big and fast for a router of this price.The router is also having removable antennas.The only downsides to it are the web interface that is not the best one and the fact that, like many other cheap routers, it gets really, really hot and that intense heat will likely kill the router in some years/months. But at this price, it is not an issue.

I bought this router particularly because I knew it used an Ath9k processor and would work with the most popular open source firmware. But, to my dismay, I found that what is being shipped is hardware version 2 of this router and it has been changed to use an RT processor instead. Do not buy this if you are looking for an Ath9k N router. Other than that, I bet this would make a great router for those wanting something to just plug in and use. I just wish manufacturers and retailers would make major hardware changes more obvious for consumers that may be looking to buy specific hardware.

I Don't get any signal from 20ft away, I live in a 2 story home, and even when I'm directly above the router, I get 4 bars on my laptop. I had an older Linksys g router, and got 3-5 bars in the same spot that i get none right now. Most likely going to rma.

i also bought this for a low shipping rate .Low price, everything was packed Neatly inside.didn't even need the setup disk. (its used for additional instructions and registration perks. breeze to setup. the unit gets very hot it has no fan.i probably worry too much about overheating. they should be designed to be always on anyhow.just don't unplug it when you get it setup, or it will be confusing to set it back up and take a while. could just be my connection setup though. just a tip.

Plugged it into a dlink router and was able to setup in no time. Great wireless range. I have a concrete block house and can still get great reception outside. And, the price!! Way to go!

This router is pretty much plug and play. I had some minor initial setup issues, but otherwise it had been very consistent in providing 802.11n. It has more features than I would have expected from such an inexpensive router. The security is top notch and you can even disable any of the 802.11 wireless standards.
