Great CPU cooler. Pretty straightforward to set up Installation directions suck I would certainly propose this to any individual searching for a hardcore CPU cooler. I have my Q9400 overclocked to 3.6Ghz (from 2.6Ghz) and it doesnt skip a beat. My temps are generally idle about 35C, and a bout 44C under load.

I have to say that this HS & Fan setup is actually awsome, I replaced the fan with yet another high R.P.M. fan immediately after I got it in and it is truly amazing I have a E6750 two.66GHz Conroe Processor and it is running Overclocked at 3.4GHz and with Orthos running for 4 hrs. the temp only got up to 41 cel. The only point about the unit is that it is extremely huge You will need to make confident that it will match in your case. I have an Antec 900 and it match mine but I had to remove the fan from the side panel, I would also program on receiving one more fan because the one that comes with it is not the very best in the globe, there wasent alot of differance in temp with just the heat sync and the heat sync and fan that came with it, but immediately after I put the higher R.P.M. fan it made a massive differance Enjoy it is worth the funds.

Did a burn in test with this factor and it kept my amd 9850 be quad core at 45c the whole time. dispite the point becoming so huge they did a good job with the heat pipes. it rises the fins high enough to clear the memory. I have all 4 dimms filled with gskill pi memory (which has heatsinks on top) and the heatsink clears them. yay. The compound it comes with. lol. They shouldn't even bother placing that in there. get oneself some artic silver This believe is enormous. I have it in my antec nine huntred and it is 1ǚ" from hitting the window. Do yourself a favor. when you set up this thing, take out the fan from the middle and then replace it when the block is mounted. you will save your self a lot of problems.

This negative boy tends to make water cooling a non-issue as it will manage any heat my QX9770 puts out, OCed or not. Hey, it's Massive. Make confident your case has room before you order it. I replaced the stock fan with a Delta PWM. If your not filmilar with Delta fans, they are the Baddest Boys on the marketplace in terms of moving air. They also, based on the model, of program, take a LOT of energy to run and though most solid Mobos can deal with 1 or 2, after that you'll will need a Strong fan controller unit to use a lot more.

Does its job effectively. Phenom 9500 OC to two.5GHz operating at 39C at total load, 郬 on all four cores after 24 hours. Around 19C at idle. The 120MM fan wants to be replaced. I program on swapping it with an antec 120 with blue leds so it has the identical appear but with actual air moving out of it. Sitting on the Phenom 9500, MSI KN9A2 Platinum, heatsink is touching against the corsair dominater cooler but it doesn't appear to be a difficulty. It has about 3mm of clearance in the antec 900 situation. But it does block the capability to have the more 120mm fan mounted on the side of the Antec 900. It's huge and it performs, but replacing the weak fan they have is a need to. With a much more strong fan I'm confident it would drop the temps one more handful of degrees.

Looks cool. I have a AMD 5400+ Black edition overclocked from 2.8ghz to 3.2ghz. I was employing a stock AMD heatsink w/fan from my pals old 4400+ that he didnt use and it kept it below 36c underneath full load. with this product, it idles at 40 and hit 51c at full load! Very unhappy. Discomfort to mount with out sliding about and smearing thermal grease to a thin layer to which it seriously has no effect. Use a stock heatsink. It functions better.

Its big and cools decently regardless of lapping problems (see below). Its decently styled and looks nice. The excellent and craftsmanship on this thing are poor. The CPU mating surface is not even close to getting lapped at all... my brushed aluminum case is smoother. My unit is missing 3 of the 6 copper endcaps for the heatpipes and I had no screws supplied to safe the fan bracket to the HS. Ultimately with the size of the HSF its truly challenging to be capable to reach the mounting screws underneath in some tight spots - of course you will have this dilemma with most oversized HSFs. General I wouldn't recommend this HSF due to poor top quality workmanship.

Fantastic cooling. On my Q6600(B3 Stepping, 333 FSB X 9) cpu case temp is 31 degress C idle(was 42 with stock cooling), 48 degrees w/ prime95 torture test(was more than 60 with stock cooling) stressing all cores. Hardness centering pin on leading of the copper was too tiny, causing the hardness to slip alot in the course of set up. Temperature control nob is too trick to fit via 1 of the slots on my antec nine hundred. As alot of people today have said, this is a tough install. Make confident you allocate adequate time to make certain you set up it effectively, to steer clear of frustation later.

The Heat Sink is top notch. This heat sink was in use with out a operating fan for a few days. Regardless of not having a operating fan it was nonetheless in a position to retain a q6600 @ three.2ghz about 54c under moderate/hi load. (With no fan I did not want to push it). Once I purchased a new fan I was capable to get the prscr to 3.6ghz with no challenges. Max temp is 57c below Prime95 pressure testing. Temp does not go over 54c during standard game play. All temps I listed are max core temps. The Fan it came with lasted much less than 1 day, far more like only a few hours. Making use of a excellent 120mm fan in its location created a huge difference. I sent an e-mail to Tuniq buyer assistance to have it replaced (I just want a new fan do not want to RMA the complete thing), and they have not gotten back to me in over four days now. Bottom line is that this is an outstanding Heat Sink, the fan in my case was terrible. Tuniq customer service is poor. In order to RMA the complete kit I would will need to pull out my motherboard in order to take away the HS.... As well much operate to replace a Ů fan. Get this for the heatsink and place a very good 120mm fan in it and you are golden.

Ok this is a good cooler i have a E6550 overclocked to 3.0GhzAnd runs idle at about 32C and on heavy load about 39C highest 42C ( i have a quite hot room) . Also this factor is really pretty the Blue fan is Plus as effectively. Good Cooler, but you should make confident you have the room for the cooler, i have and antec 900 fits nice but i had to sacrifice my 120mm fan on my door panel, but it was ok. this cooler is specifically difficult to set up. I was bleeding from my knuckles to plug in my 4 pin connector to my mobo, beacuse the fins were in the way. (its ok it was worth it) Other than the bleeding. it was all excellent following the installation this cooler is awsome keeps my cpu secure and cool. All in all Wonderful Cooler Def. Suggest

Capable to preserve my q9450 OC Ư.0ghz cool. Fits an evga 780i and a coolermaster RC-690. Tough to screw the final screw in due to restricted space. Had to rip out three case fans just to fit this in. I think it was still worth it.

Awesome cpu cooler, fits in antec 900 case wonderful, and keeps my amd 6400+ at about 30C. Was quite straightforward to set up, even though the directions weren't extremely clear, it's fairly effortless to figure out, when you install it on your processor, make sure you have your mobo out of the case, if you can, it tends to make it all substantially less difficult. I guess it would be the size, I had to get rid of the optional side fan on the antec 900, also the instructions weren't really clear on the am2 clip, but thats about it. wonderful heatsink for those high-heat applications, would recommend to all who have the case to fit it.

Under no circumstances seen an air cooling method work this very good. Keeps my e8400 @ 3.4 22C idle and 41C on complete load(about 20.5C space temp). Looks nice in the case, often have people comment it. This point is big, heavy, and somewhat a pain to install. I had to get rid of my side fan in my situation becasue this thing is so major. It is also so heavy that even when mounted and tightend it has a slight tilt to it. If you have a huge case and want the very best air cooling id get this.

My QX9650 @ 3.33ghz was idling at about 45C and max load of 67C with my zalman 9700. I decided to purchase this which was a Great selection. Under load is where this CPU cooler seriously starts to shine. At idle my qx9650 was a 36C and at five hours of prime 95 max temp was 56C. Wonderful improvement over the zalman. The point is massive. It was genuinely hard to get the screws in because the plate was so off balance.

in update to my last critique it keeps points 10c cooler than my CM Gemini with no fans, tension tested with a 3ghz OC on a Q6600 1.4v show all cores idle within 5c of each other, loads as far as 61c. the thermal grease sucks by far, my second tube due to the fact I was providing tuniq a chance but it nevertheless sucks, doesn't like to spread. Making use of a ANtec 300 you can only retain the best fan mounted if you mount the cooler blowing up or down. To have it blowing out the back of the case the top fan will get in the way.

Keeps my Q6600 at 39-41C IDLE.Haven't tested it below load yet but I will soon.ten-15C cooler compared to the q6600 cooler i've been utilizing.I employed Artic Silver five and it worked my a charm. Not truly a con but be cautious when you put in the pci fan speed adjuster that you don't bend your pci slot thin metal pieces that hold devices since the knob didn't fit via from the inside of the situation out. This is my mistake for not pulling out the knob 1st then putting the pci adjuster bracket then pushing in the knob from the outdoors, which I later did.Issue fixed. It's huge. Barely offers me clearance for a 120mm fan above it in my NZXT Zero 2 complete tower, but I genuinely like this cooler.Does a seriously very good job maintaining my cpus temps down and has a fan speed adjuster which is good.

This is a great cooler for the income. Installation was simple enough that I didn't break anything at all on my two-year-old mainboard. Keeps my overclocked E6600 Ɠ.375 GHz) at less than 50C at 100% load. Adjustable fan speed and blue LEDs are just bonuses to this wonderful item. Instructions weren't really valuable, but I'm reaching for a con here due to the fact installation was really straightforward. This cooler comes with a three-pin power connector, so make certain you have an open plugin on your mainboard. My old cooler used a 4-pin connector, and that brought on momentary confusion for the duration of installation. Distinction among the Tuniq and my old cooler (AC Freezer 7 Pro) was about 12C at full load.

Works excellent, dropped my load temperature on an e7600 3.8 GHZ by 20C whilst beneath load. This point is Massive. Enormous is in fact a fairly big understatement, this thing barely fit in my antec 902 situation, and it honestly scares me that it's hanging sideways on my MB. I consider I'll have nightmares about it crashing down for awhile. It is heavy, and extremely difficulty to install. The directions are also really limited, and the photographs are very blurry. The LED light is the only reason I chose this one particular over some other individuals, and I can't seem to get hte LED lights to perform. May possibly be one thing I'm undertaking incorrect, may possibly be a faulty fan. Going to attempt and figure it out, dropped an egg because the lights are the only cause I chose this over some others.

I have an Intel Xeon E3110. With stock fan I overclocked it to 3.4ghz. It was running on 49C idle and 67C on load.I put the tuniq tower in. Overclock it to 4.2ghz and temps are amazing! 39C on idle and 55C on load. It's actually close to water cooling and airflow from your situation is key to receiving it as awesome as attainable. None. Looks truly great in my Antec 900 with the led lights and the size is perfect. Trust me don't assume think it will snap your mobo in half.
