I am curently using this cooler on a AMD 9850 OCed 10%. Temp under load 87 deg. F. I purchased a second one for my new build AMD 955. The part is of high quality and easy to install. Performs well and looks great. Highly recomended.

Great Product and Best Price
Comment:
Received today. Installation is very easy if you read and follow the instructions. You must remove your motherboard to install back plate. This is the best cooler for the money you can buy. I have a Intel I7 overclocked from 2.66 G to 3.4 gig and my cooled is reading 36 degrees C or 97 degrees F. I have used water in the past and this is much safer and does the sme job of cooling. Great Product

This cooling Fan is best of the best. The only thing negative is it is hard to put down 4 screw holder to hold the Monster but when it is ON...it is ROCK.

slick and works!

ludicrous to consider any other cpu cooling, and insane to consider not cooling your cpu these days. dropped 70deg F at full load on a q6600 overclocked to 3.6 STABLE!! this website rules at $109 if you have a desktop computer that could use a cpu cooler you are wasting your money on anything else

Using a core 2 quad processor 3ghz Q9650 not over clocked yet. Temps around 25c-31c. Really like the lcd display and design. Heat sink is really tall but I have the room just make sure you do before you buy. This heatsink is well worth the money.

This product works great in that it cools my AMD Phenom 64 X4 processor from being 100131 (Max CPU Temp. 158F) to being 79106. I really cools for the money!

Excellent product

Recently did a new build and bought this fan even the the I7 came with one. This fan is great system stays around 29c. Like others have said the fan is huge but well worth the money. And if your running the I7 3.2gig chip like in the coolmaster Haf case no problem there. After all these 3 products make for the start of a great build.

WOW!
Comment:
I got a lot more than expected with this cooler. My prior CPU temps were about 60c Idle, I upgraded my CPU and bought this cooler because my new CPU would run hotter than the last one. My CPU's temp never exceeds 42c under extreme load (Unreal Tournament 3, Oblivion etc..). CPU is always about 29-32c idle. AMAZING! Only minor drawback is the installation. You have to completely remove your MoBo in order to install. A minor inconvenience, WELL worth it!

This thing Really keeps my cpu cold.I have my Intel i7 955 EE O.C'd to about 4.43 and It only about 43C,along with that I have 5 other fans that I have on a controller and I turn them on When ever I play Crisis or BF2 and Its Still the same Temp (Probably because of the 2 ExtrA fans) Cons:Its huge and hard to put in.All and all its a great Product

Works Great
Comment:
Looks awesome in my case (Thermaltake Armor+ full tower). Extremely easy install. Blue LEDs on fan. Kept my q9650 overclocked to 4225mhz under 65c when under heavy load with games. The the temp display on the LCD is not actual temps. More like temps of the heatsink's core base. Some times they would be off by 10-15c. It would also show idle at 29c and really it was about 39c at idle for example (double checked my install, very tight fit perfectly flush with cpu face). I could also hear the fan rev up in RPMs and then rev down, over and over during idle. Gets annoying over time. During loads the fan RPM stays high. The LCD changes to a few colors, shows temp of heatsink at base, keeps record of how long your computer has been on since you powerd on, and total life on power time in hours. Not much in options for the LCD. This is a must have for over clockers. It has a very clean look to it and I love how it channels the air flow to the exhaust fan/s in the rear of case.

COLD HEARTED
Comment:
Does everything promised-Running FSX max settings with temps NEVER over 81F./ 27C. Not for the novice installer, as installation requires almost a total teardown as the new mounting plate is UNDER the MB (a good time to clean the case out!). Fills up alot of space previously filled with harnesses'.

Not bad, keeps things relatively cool
Comment:
I've got a Q6600, keeps it somewhat cool. I did expect a cooler setup considering a TEC can cool below room temps, but it IS running, as when I unplug the power to it, it's much hotter. That's why I rated 4 for performance. 5 in quality because it's very well built, contact surface is almost perfect. Features, didn't have a fan and TEC control setup, but it has a nice readout. Value, well, it is certainly expensive, a cheap watercooling setup will run about as much, but then there's leaks to worry about. Overall an alright product

Great product not the easiest to install
Comment:
Well the display u put in the case which changes colors is prolly why you bought this fan. HAVE PATIENCE when you install this fan. Because you will develop "Bruce Lee Chi fingers" in time and be able to deliver death defying strength in a 1 inch space with 2 fingers. If you can't at first get the four screws then just chill and try again later. You will be tempted to use a flat scewdriver...Dont ..one slip and u could ruin ya motherboard. On average I run 39 degrees celcius at idle with a phenom II 940 and thats with its stock thermal paste. And this is based on what the panel tells me so I dunno. The module changes colors but the fan led is always blue. You can only change colors of the module or change from C to F for reporting temperature. I kinda hoped you could do more control through that panel like a temporary fan boost or so. Anyways it still looks great. But make sure ALL screws turn down and tighten many turns.....When I first put it on I had a screw not go

PC as an A/C unit.
Comment:
Indeed it is. I've had this baby for about 6 months, so time to write a review. It's cold, yea REAL cold. Even during Crysis in which my core's are all being used, this baby is still lukewarm to touch. My case is a constant 88 degrees and up to 97 when fully loaded. considering the human body is about that hot, yea i'd say this thing keeps the CPU from Overheating. My only Con, is that it is HUGE! covers up the ram slots so i couldn't add in a ram fan( yea... i know excessive)

Is it cold in here?
Comment:
I bought this to cool my i7 965, and boy does it ever cool. I have not tried overclocking yet, but right away under load it keeps the CPU at 27 Degrees. I found the installation a breeze, and the instructions are clear. I did not use the supplied thermal grease, but instead I opted for my arctic silver. I also liked how they included the i7 bracket, where many make you order it separately. If I had to find a down side, I guess I would have to say there was no case badge, but really that is not an issue. I also found it inhibits the Antec 900 side panel fan, but that is not a prob, seeing how cool this all runs. I am very satisfied.

Ultra Chilltec vs Thermalright Ultra 120
Comment:
Case- Thermaltake Armor+ Mid-tower CPU- Q6600 @ 2.9ghz, 1.2v- OCZ Freeze thermal paste- Ambient 23c- Temps recorded with CoreTemp v0.99 and verified with SpeedFan v4.34.- CPU stress testing done by IntelBurnTest v2.1, averaged after 15 runs with ram usage at max.- First test was done with the Ultra 120 in a push, pull configuration with 2 120mm ScytheGentleTyphoon 28dBa editions. After 15 runs of IntelBurnTest totaling just under 30 minutes, core 0 averaged 66c and maxed 68c core 1 averaged 64c and maxed 68c core 2 averaged 64c and maxed 66c core 3 averaged 62c and maxed 65c Second test done with the Ultra Chilltec. core 0 averaged 53c and maxed 56c core 1 averaged 53c and maxed 55c core 2 averaged 53c and maxed 55c core 3 averaged 53c and maxed 55c That is a full 10c lower than the Ultra 120, which is a great air cooler. Lastly, for those who still use Prime95, IntelBurnTest averages 10c more than Prime95, so just subtract 10c from the above averages for comparison purposes

keeps AMD Athlon 64x2 really cool.

one things for sure, its big and heavy, added close to 10 pounds on my mobo, and is 1/2" away from the side cover. But it does an excellent job of cooling the cpu, and thats really all that counts

Absolutely Awesome CPU cooler!
Comment:
My Intel Quad Core 9600 2.66GHz is OC'd at 3.1GHz and I have never seen my CPU go above 34 degrees Celsius, even under max load. I HIGHLY recommend this product. It is pricy but in the long run it's worth it, especially to the custom builders who have had heat issues in the past. Great product!

Chillin With My CPU
Comment:
I have owned this cooler for about a year and wow do I love it. I am using a Intel Q6600 overclocked to 3.6Ghz and at idle it gets to 30-32 degrees C, and on load its around 40-42c. I am ok with that. The quality and build is awesome. Super easy install. Just beware and check your specs cause this cooler is BIG.

Superior Cooling Performance
Comment:
Thumb screw method a little clumsy but works well. For cooling it has done an excellent job keeping my gaming system safe from the HEAT. Beats the clunky liquid cooling systems by using great design and excellent use of heat transfer technology. The Thermal balance is excellent.

Best CPU cooler out there,Period.
Comment:
This cooler rocks.Old temps on CPU idle was low 50s with an arctic pro 64,now they are low to mid 30s idle and about 45 under load vs high 50s to low 60s.I used OCZ Freeze thermal paste with the cooler and wow amazing results,I am cooling an X2 6400+ @ 3.2 gig. This cooler is definitely worth the money, although I got lucky and found one on tiger directs clearance table for 25 bucks,TD certainly made me a happy boy that day. Thanks again Tiger, you guys simply rock.I shop at the Burlington Ontario outlet and the staff and service is second to none...5 Stars to TD.
