great psu!
Comment:
bought this with a barebones, currently running a 750a, phenom 9500, 2 sticks, and a 9800gtx+ along with 2 120 mm fans, mascool 5.5 bay hdd cooler, dvd drive, and a thermaltake tr2 fan and as far as i can see it barely gets warm , quiet too, huge fan means it can turn with low rpm and move lot of air without the noise

Great value
Comment:
This PS is an excellent product with a great price. It has plenty of connectors that meet the needs of most PC configurations. It would be much better if it had a modular design so you would only use the connectors needed and not have a bundle of unused connectors in the case making it easier to work on. A modular design would also help maximize air flow and heat dissipation inside the case. Overall this is a great product.

Top Notch
Comment:
This is an excellent PS, with plenty of available connections and shielded wire. Easy to route the wires an still get to all the needed connections. Be sure that the 550-Watts supports your build. Some SLI set-ups need more.

Nice and quiet
Comment:
Many computers use the Serial ATA drives. It would be nice if the SATA power cables included the led attachment. Since they don't, you must use Sata adapters with the LED plug, on the old style power connectors. This makes the SATA power connectors that come with the power supply extra and in the way.

A budget Crossfire/SLI power supply
Comment:
Cheapest power supply you will find that is Crossfirex/SLI ready. Has plenty of cables so you can connect all your other parts. The cables being covered also helps conserve space, but also makes it hard to ziptie them, so they won't get in the way. Ultra quiet and delivers great performance.

Ulta just Flat works
Comment:
Have been installing ultra power supplies in customer's units for over five years now. The quality and performance is just outstanding especially in light of the pricing and warranty. Checking voltage outputs over a range of loads with a charting unit and O scope revealed extremely stable voltages and minimal ripple. I have one complaint - out of hundreds of units installed had a total of three failures, all three involved the internal fan, more specifically the temperature control unit failing and causing the fan not to run. My experience has been that these temperature sensing modules are problematic and I now think it would be best to avoid their inclusion in a design unless reliability of this unit can be improved. Experienced similar problem in a lot of military electronic equipment and designs were altered to preclude this problem. Buy ultra with confidence that warranty and support is second to none.

No Problems
Comment:
Was included in a barebones kit I bought. Installed easily and the wiring was easy to setup. It looks nice in a clear-sided case as the wires are all covered in a black sheath. I have no problems with power running a C2Q 2.66/4Gb DDR3/500 Gb HD/DVD/ATI HD4890/Zerotherm LED CPU cooler + 2x120mm LED Cooling fans.

This power supply fit right into my tower, and hooking up components was a snap. It runs more quietly than my old 300w supply ever did. The sleeved cables are a blessing for reducing clutter.

Wow costs more than I usually pay for a PSU but works great! Super-quite, it actually worries me, it seems like there's barely any air coming out but it works. Enough juice for a GTX 260.
