REALLY RELIABLE POWER SOURCE
Comment:
Good power source for first time builders. The cords are thick as (Blank). I can't see this thing dying anytime soon for any reason |

Quiet Performer
Comment:
This is a stellar performer but be warned - it's only 78% efficient; if that matters to you. |

It worked great, until it died.

I bought this when it was $49.99, right before it said unavailable. Even though it shorted out on me 3 days after I bought it. They gave me my money back because the item was unavailable. Because it was unavailable, this made me happy, because I didn't know if 550 watts at 80% efficient could even be enough, so I bought the 70 dollar 750 watt one marked down like 50 bucks or something. I have everything overclocked and its trucking along. |

Very nice PSU
Comment:
It works very well, looks great and very easy to mount and hookup. It's very quiet with the 135mm fan. The best deal around, I'm not sure why it was 29.95 at the time I purchased it. I see that this same item is and has been unavailable for some time now. If you can find this available in the future and it fits you're needs at 550W then be rest assured it's a great PSU at any price. |

No issues still.
Comment:
I don't know what the guy who gave it bad reviews was doing unless he was putting more on it than he should have to make it heat up. I have had no issues with mine and it has been running for about a year with no heating issues. phenom 9500 asus 780a sli mobo 2x 9600gt oc in sli 4gig corsair twinx ddr2 ram 250gig hdd 5400rpm I am about to take mine out even though it runs perfect due to upgrading and adding another hdd and a blackmagic intensity pro card to my 3rd pci-e slot. Moving up to a 700w psu. If the guy crying about his overheating was running too much on his board maybe that was his issue. Mine is going in my other pc that has a generic psu. |

Never worked

Got this with a barebones kit. 1 month later, still haven't received a replacement that works. Once it warmed up, would reboot system faster and faster. |

Good budget PS
Comment:
I'm using this in a Dell Dimension 8300. I had to make a minor modification to the Dell case because of the switch position. No biggie. It runs quiet and only smelled of ''warm electronics'' for the first few hours. No problems in the several weeks I've been using this PS. Good bargain. |

Good Value
Comment:
I used this in a Gateway. Runs much cooler now, the computer case is a small and the original power supply had 90 degree connectors on the HD cables so this was a little tight hooking up the cables. |

Nice
Comment:
Nice 550 Watt and the cables are all sleeved in a black netting. Makes for better air flow and less cable clutter. I recommend to clear cases. Quiet too. |

Not bad at all especially for the price
Comment:
Bought this thing about 3 or 4 months ago and I must say that I'm resonably impressed. Haven't had any trouble really except once there was a power spike and then the power plummeted on the 3.3v. easily powers everything I have running with a lot of power to spare. Runs the coolest out of all the PSUs that I have ever owned. |

Good Item
Comment:
Good as expected and nice video fps and nice for the price. |
I received this unit as part of a bare bones build. Being part of a budget system, I expected it to be noisy. This is very quiet, both audibly and electrically! I listen to AM radio, and have had previous P.S. cause horrendous noise thru the AC line. I wish I could buy 3 more! By the way, my system is a rocking quad core, and it has no problem keeping up. Would of liked component cables, but for the price, I'm very happy.
