You get what you pay for
Comment:
First one, card reader did not work, temp gauges are mostly gimmicks. Pain to install. Second one still a pain to install. Card reader did work but assembly was faulty and front cover did not line up with card slots - not worth to time to uninstall-wait for replacemet-reinstall -just cut bigger hole in front face plate. There's a good reason there marked down to $35.00.

Could be easier
Comment:
To many wires, 2nd fan controller does not read an RPM, instruction manual is not to instructive, looks nice in front of my case, but I don't have the correct wire outlets on my mother board to support all the features. It won't wire up to a S-Series GA-G41M-ES2L mother board, directly.

Money Saver
Comment:
Well, Do not let the lights fool you. Does not line up correctly. The fan control does not work and a ton of wires to hide in the case. spend less on another reader and get more. I plan to remove this on my next case openning....

Works Fine
Comment:
The 3 pin fan plugs are the only fault.

Not too bad when on sale
Comment:
It's pretty good-looking. Build quality is not very good, but not brutal, either. The fan controls are poor, in that they accept only the 3-pin fan connectors. Temp readout is Fahrenheit only - why, when most computer temps are noted in Celsius? Basically, it costs too much for what it is.

2 doa, 3rd one seems to work
Comment:
The first one I got didn't display either of the fans RPM. The second one displayed one fan RPM but not the other. Finally, the third one displayed both fan RPMs. Not sure if the other features work yet. The cost of returning the two that didn't work essentially drives the price up significantly. I suggest looking for a different product. It might be worth the extra money.

Works Good
Comment:
I was a little bit worried about ordering this after reading all the reviews. But once I got it and installed it into the computer I am very happy with it. There are a lot of wires but any one who has built a computer will not have any trouble with it. Over all I am very happy with it.

Great functionality, but on the pricey side.
Comment:
I got this early December and its worked pretty well. Its not a full length drive bay so I had to rig it into the computer case I'm using (an old Dell 2350) which required some different screws and some hot glue. The chassis of it is made of some cheaper plastic. Other than that its a great tool that has alot of ports right on the front of the computer for easy access. One other thing the insturctions are not consumer frendly. The heatsink sensors are barely mentioned in them, so a little trial and error on my part and I got them put in where they worked.

This was what I hoped it would be. Everything works great and it was easy to hookup. Love the display and the temp meters are accurate. Was a breeze to setup and works well. A sweet looking addition to my computer.

Good reslts!
Comment:
I bought this for the card reader and that works great. I am using it on a Windows 7 computer. The upfront USB connectors are great as well as the Sound connections. The temperature monitoring may help with alerting me when cleaning my computer is necessary!

Looks good
Comment:
Looks great if you can install it without problems. I had to reseat several connectors while installing. The front end looks great, the back end is absolute cheese-mo. The card reader usb interface is only a 4 pin that could be installed incorrectly easily, i had to refer to my mobo book to install correctly. If you can get it installed correctly, it works great other that the fact that it only reads in F instead of C. (without soldering 2 points together)

Fan Control Bad
Comment:
Got everyting I wanted to work except for the Fan Controls. Like other reviews I could not get them to work. I think it would help if you would indicate what is needed (type connection)for each hook up then we could make sure we had the proper connectors or places to hook the advertised features up.

Fan control
Comment:
Fan RPM display does not work. I've had 2 of these now and only one is 100%. They are not that hard to install flush with case front. Looks good installed and all USB card readers work well.

Poorly Manufactured Product
Comment:
Memory card alignment vs the escutcheon openings was off, making it impossible to insert a CF card. The displays would not read fan speed right out of the box. The face of the unit was a good .125'' recessed, indicating poor mounting screw hole alignment. With better QC this product would be a sweet bang for the buck.

Excellent
Comment:
Everything worked fine. Should work with most cases and motherboards. Temp guages and fan controllers are great. Installing was easy ime-imo. The style and look should be excellent with any black and neon blue lighted system. 5 STARS.

no complaints.
Comment:
I use everything the device has to offer, and it does a good job. Nice bright LCD. fan controllers work good for me. Sensors are accurate. Audio header cable was long enough for my needs. Overall it is a great unit for the price.

Low Buck Product - High Buck Price
Comment:
The face plate won't stay in place - glue probably would help. It's obvious that the cheapest available componentry - controls, meters, enclosure, even pot-metal mounting screws. I don't want to have to try to live with it so it's on it's way back.

Awesome addition!!!
Comment:
This is one sweet looking addition. It has lots of cables to hookup, but even the novice shouldn't have an issue because they are all labled. The instructions are pretty straight forward, but the only thing that i can see that may throw someone would be attaching the temperature sensors. There is some yellow tape in the packaging that is for you to attach the sensors with. I attached the cpu sensor as close to the processor as possible, and the motherboard heat sink sensor as close to the board as possible. They seem to be sticking rather well. I set my fans to 1100rpm and i can hear and feel the air moving, but it's relatively quiet and i have yet to hear that beeping sound that everyone is talking about. If that is whats detering you, then no worries. I used the 3 prong fan connectors. Onlt gripe is the media slots aren't lined up very well, but they work Great buy.

Excellent eye-candy, but...
Comment:
it's very flimsily made. It takes only minutes to install, unless you're a stickler for fit and aesthetics like I am. The screws provided are far too short if you have a case that utilizes slide-in brackets. And I wish they would've spent the extra pennies and made it a full depth enclosure. With it being half depth, I'm only able to fasten it on one side, so it's not too sturdily attached. I had to improvise a bit. It's a beautiful piece. Performance-wise, the max fan speed is 1100 RPM and the minimum is 500. So far under minimum load, I've noticed that the temp difference between max fan and min is only about 2 degrees Fahrenheit. However, I have 6 fans running and if I connected it to a different set of fans, the temp difference might be better or worse. Be sure to connect the fans with the 3 pin connectors, otherwise the alarm will go off. All the inputs work great, but the compact flash pins are very easily bent. So be care with that one.

Comment:
I thought it was going to be an ok item but i wasnt. I slots for the media cards were not alined and it over heated my computer. I would start bepping sound. Not a very nice product.
