Product is easy to install, gives good clearance to work aroud CPU and really cools extremely well keeps; my AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black, running at 100% is constantly kept at 44-46 degrees celsius.

Still up and running since June of 2009 with a 500GB Seagate Barracuda drive. The only problem I am having is that the cord from the drive to the power supply is a tad short when it sits on my desk. It likes to come unplugged here and there. Besides that, it is a great enclosure.

Used with a WB Black 1TB, works flawlessly. Had on slight problem when installing HD, the slots in the case that align the PC board weren't deep enough to screw the HD to the enclosure. Alternatively, the screw position might have been slightly out. Anyway, the issue was resolved by cutting the slots deeper with a hacksaw.

Seems well made and well designed. Feels very solid. Very simple to install drive (check out video). Formatting the drive not as intutive with Windows 7 as I would have thought.

The Ultra Case is good looking, well built, and incredibly simple to put your HD inside. It took me less than a minute to get my HD inside and close it back up. It also comes with all the extra (including eSata) cables you need and a screwdriver (which costs like a penny, but everyone else fails to give you one). Bottom line if you are undecided buy this case!

I bought this to cool down the 1TB drive in the i-7 system I put together. There was a massive, immediate drop in case temperature. I use this system primarily for online gaming - it sees heavy use for long periods of time and the case stays cold to the touch everywhere except where the exhaust fan on the power supply is. I am building an i-5 gaming system for my kids and their pc will get one of these also.

I was able to install a 1.5TB drive-even though box says it can accommodate up to 1TB drive-without problems. The enclosure with my 7200rpm drive operating feels only slightly warm. Minimal noise since it is a fanless design. Both eSATA and USB works flawlessly. LED light is bright, but not a problem. The on off switch is a sturdy rocker-type. A little pricey but worth it.

XP immediately recognized drive with USB connection. Kit includes stand. Wish it held case securely. Also wish power switch and activity light were on front, cables in rear. This enclosure is one of the best products from them that I've seen and put into use. I have bought and use various products from them, but this one stands out in terms of its appearance, quality of the fit and finish, and its ease of use. Very quiet and cool-running, due in large part to the 500GB hard drive it houses. The only drawback is that the disk access light is on the BACK of the enclosure instead of on the front. Obviously a cost-cutting design measure, but a poor one, in my opinion. As always, prompt order processing, handling and shipping. Overall, very satisfied with the unit and would purchase again without any hesitation.

I am using this with a Seagate 320GB drive from a previous computer. Was easy to setup, and the OS recognized it right away. I am using it with Norton 15 and Windows 7 to backup my hard drive. It replaced a USB external drive that was a real slowpoke. If the Seagate fails or if I ever need a larger drive I can open the enclosure and insert a new drive.

Everything you need to get up and running including the cables, eSATA port adapter, and screwdriver. I'm currently using a WD Green 1.5TB drive in it that fit perfectly and have had no issues. The eSATA is a must have when moving multiple GBs of data at a time, MUCH faster then USB 2.0. It feels heavy when put together, but no worse then any other 3.5

Though it's no-frills, this enclosure is fine for what it is. I found the quality of the aluminum a bit less than I expected (there were scratches on the enclosure when I opened it). Also, some of the screws were difficult to secure; probably due to not-perfect tolerances during machining. Overall, a decent enclosure.

Bought two of these to make use of 2 WD hard drives that became available when I did some computer upgrades. Using 1 of them as as desktop external and the other as an external to my HD PVR. Both are functioning flawlessly after a month or so of constant usage. For me the best thing was the value packed nature - not only the enclosure, but 2 quality cables (e-SATA and USB) and even a SATA bracket. These alone were almost worth the price of the enclosure. And handy screwdriver to boot. These guys really thought of everything. They assembled in a snap, and they look very cool too. I am very pleased and would buy more of these if I had a use for them.
