Might Not be Able to Use Card Readers
Comment:
Everything about this floppy drive was as advertised. It installed easily and the floppy worked as it should; however, I have been unable to make the card readers work on my Dell mobo because I cannot find a port on the mobo with the USB pins (problem is the mobo, not the drive). Before you buy this for the card readers, be certain that you have USB pins on the mobo on your system or you won't get the benefit of the card readers. Ultra was no help and Dell - well their service is worse than worthless IMO.

Great deal, awesome versatility
Comment:
The only thing that could make it better , is to read more card types.

Useful combination if you need a Floppy Drive
Comment:
Useful for booting from a floppy when needed for special needs. The Multi-card reader does not support the latest high capacity media, but for older lower capacity media is an excellent choice for esthetics and for the convenience and space savings.

Nice little unit
Comment:
Absolutely no problems installing the unit in my Cooler Master. Matches the case and gives me the card readers I need. Thanks a bunch. Oh and it works too which is really the bottom line.

Great Combo from Ultra
Comment:
Installed it on Windows 7(64-bit). Make sure to order a floppy drive cable if you don't have one already. The motherboard USB connector is non-standard. I had to guess on the hook up but through trial and error got it to work. It's a great combo unit for any computer

Nice Drive with handy features
Comment:
Purchased this drive for a new PC and found the benifits well worth the price. I liked it so much I purchased another one to replace the old one in another PC. Works great on Windows XP Pro 32 bit.

Floppy don't work
Comment:
Well, here's another one that the floppy drive does not work. Put in a floppy disk, get a message saying to put in a floppy disk. The other media readers work, not at usb2.0 speeds. Take you chances.

Works
Comment:
I've been using my camera as it's own SD card reader for years. That can be quite the pain since cables can go missing. Also, the computer that I recently built did not have a floppy drive and I need one for the things I do. This floppy drive card reader killed two birds with one stone. The setup was painless. The only other thing I could ask for would be to make the floppy component also USB to keep the airflow in my case from being impeded.

Worked as advertized
Comment:
I installed this on Windows 7 (64-bit) with no problems. No cables came with it, so you will have to get your own. The USB only powers the data card readers. A floppy cable and power is required also, all cables must be connected in order for it to fully function.

Works with 32 bit system
Comment:
This reader does not come with a floppy drive cable, and it needs one. Besides that it works great on Windows 32 bit system

May work well ?
Comment:
This is not all USB. Only the card reader is. The floppy drive requires a floppy cable plug in. My new motherboard does not have a floppy cable plug in so I could not use it.

Worked like a charm
Comment:
I installed this on Windows 7 (64-bit) and it works like a charm. I had to connect all cables in order for it to fully function; i.e. USB, floppy cable and power. (Apparently the USB only powers the data card readers). P.S. It is reading ancient floppies just fine.

great product
Comment:
FLoppy works great, only problem, it will not work with 64 bit windows 7 , called Ultra, and they told me no drives available, waiting on Microsoft to write the 64 bit drivers for the card reader.

Good product but not a USB Floppy drive
Comment:
The quality of the product is fine. The description, even on the package and the front of the manual is misleading. This is NOT A USB FLOPPY DRIVE, even though the manual is titled USB 2.0 FLOPPY DISK DRIVE. This is a standard 34 pin floppy interface floppy drive plus a USB card reader. If you are looking for a floppy drive for your no floppy interface MB this is not the one.

Great Reader
Comment:
I was hesitant to buy this reader because I've bought a few that failed on me in very short time, I've had this one for a while now and no problems, The driver CD was a great addition as it names all the seperate readers in your system, I am running it on both windows XP pro and Windows 7without any issues

Good Product & Features, Lousy Instructions
Comment:
The motherboard USB connector is non-standard, and took some finger-pushing and readjustment after the first several tries. Finally got it right, but I was not completely happy about it. Remember the connector goes onto the 4-pin section of the 9-pin USB connector. After installation, works great.

Mechanicals Don't Work
Comment:
The floppy eject button doesn't eject the floppy disk, it only nudges it barely, and the disk never really feels like it is properly seated in the drive. You need fingernails or tweezers to get the disks out, if you're lucky and they don't jam. Poor design.

Multi-Card reader
Comment:
Once I figured out that it pluged up the same place where the USB plugs into on the motherboard. The hookup was simple and about 5 minutes later, you had your card reader working fine.
