Great Product
Comment:
I really like the Ultra products I have purchased several of their Computer Cases, and their Power Supplies in the Past and the Quality is exceptional. I am very pleased with this multi card reader the only thing I feel would improve it is if it had a USB Connection. Since one needs to be used for the card reader.

Questionable
Comment:
I purchased this drive a few months ago and I love the built-in card readers, at least THEY work great. The biggest problem I'm having with it is that, it will not boot any of my bootable disks.

Easy replacement
Comment:
Bought this to replace a borked 3.5 floppy drive and bought this unit specifically for the card reader features. The drive installed easily and booted right up. Read and write speeds for the card reader are faster than external readers. The only down side is that you will need an adapter for a really popular card used in a certain brand name gaming system and camera, they won't let me use brand names, that I don't remember reading about in the details.

Works with Windows 7- 64 bit
Comment:
I was skeptical after reading the reviews, but it worked perfectly. Uses a ribbon cable for an ide floppy, just as any ide floppy drive would need. Windows 7 found all the drivers for me. USB card reader works on SD cards and sony smart sticks. Haven't tried the other slots but they all show up in windows explorer. Good product.

Okay for what it is . . .
Comment:
I thought the value was good. It is exactly as advertised. From the feel and touch of the product - I would've thought the quality could've been better for the price. The card reader does its job - but the floppy drive

good but has its snags
Comment:
it is nice if you want a floppy with a card reader all in one... be aware you will need a FDD power cable, fdd data cable and a usb header (empty) to use this if your mobo doesnt have it then donw buy it, or buy an expansion card, but why.... make sure you have the necessary cable and connections on your system... othe thatn that it is great

Nice looking unit, but...
Comment:
Just built a new system and got this to add floppy capability and the added bonus of multiple card reading formats. Cardreader hooks up by USB, but the floppy is an old school connector, which my expensive new mobo doesn't offer. Have to move it to my old XP machine and find something else. Was super easy to install, looks great, and was recognised by the system right off (the readers anyway.) Only $30 so no big loss since I'll just use it elsewhere, but wish I'd seen the hook-up prior to purchase.

Works Great
Comment:
Set up was fast and easy - mounted right where my old floppy was - connected it and it worked. I recently bought and installed an Ultra 2.0 PCI Card, so I had two places to connect the USB Card reader; the motherboard and the PCI Card. I connected to the PCI Card. Everything works fine.

Dead in the Water
Comment:
I was stoked that you could purchase a muti-reader internal FDD. Well, this thing arrived DOA. The floppy drive and 2 other disc readers were non-functional. And like an idiot that Iam, i had alreasdy trashed the box and Packing list so was un-able to return. Hard lesson learned. !!!

Warning if you do not have a 34 pin interface
Comment:
If you do not have a 34 pin connector on your motherboard, beware that you will not be able to connect the Floppy Disk Drive. No adaptors available in the market for 34 pin to SATA.

Plan to return this device
Comment:
The card readers worked just fine. Install went ok. The 3.5 disc reader does not work, and it is VERY noisy. Maybe the next one will work..

Great Use of the 3.5
Comment:
All the card readers worked well, with a mid-way stop and green light feature. This would be a great product if the floppy was a USB ,or two, ports instead. And if you use the floppy, you need a 34pin conn to USB connector or 34pin mobo. It seems the price of this unit should be $20.

Why not!
Comment:
I've been doing this since CPM was the operating system. I'm sure I don't need a Floppy drive but for $5 extra, why not. Lots of floppies left in the house. Takes a 9pin usb header and a floppy drive header. Also a mini power head. Works fine and looks good but I wish it had a couple of usb outlets. Overall, worth having!

Doesn't work with Windows 7
Comment:
What rating does,Does Not Work with Win7, merit? I bought this because I wanted the 3.5 in. floppy & card reader in 1 bay. This review only pertains to the floppy drive. I wasn't able 2 format or read(& I assume write) any of the disks, although a dir listing of the disk contents would display. After reading other reviews on this site, it appears I'm not alone. Another confusing thing about this unit is that it suggests connecting into a USB connector on the MB. Thats fine, but it uses a 5 pin single line connector and the motherboard uses 10pin USB connections. So I had to educate myself on which half of the 10 pin USB connector 2 use. I wasn't even aware there were 2 halves, the 1.0 side or the 2.0 side. I chose the 2.0 side(because of the name on the box). Either way, this has been more trouble than I had planned 2 spend on a 3.5 in. floppy drive. I would suggest that you verify that this product works with Win7 b4 purchasing.

Decent Deal
Comment:
I added one of these to my system and with the addition of the Floppy drive makes access to my old floppy disks, a painless process. Personally I'd look for one that is SDHC compatible.

No driver for 64 bt Windows 7 OS available
Comment:
This is useless as a card reader without the USB driver to run the card reader on 64 bt Windows 7 OS. That should have been stated in the specs.
