Ultra ULT40366 3.5 Floppy Drive with Multi Card Reader

This is a real nice card reader, but if you have a 64bit system it will not work it is not 64bit compatable.

It's a floppy drive, what can be said about that? The memory card reader was well thought out. The connection goes to the board, not out the back and plug into an available usb port.

I really like this idea of getting an all in one unit like this. Floppy drive & card reader in one,very cool. I mean if your going to use up a slot in your tower for a floppy drive,you may as well really get more than just the drive in the same slot. Now a day's you may not see a floppy drive installed in a PC on store shelves. Just another reason why I build my own. Some people think floppy drives are a thing of the past WRONG! They are still needed for very important things like doing Bios ugrades & installing Raid Drivers during an OS install. Only one time was I able to use a USB thumb drive to flash or upgrade to a newer Bios revision,& thats cuz my Bios allowed me to use a USB drive to do it instead of a floppy. So in my opinion,the days of NOT needing a floppy drive are far from over,& should never be considered old school. This unit is great!
