Comment:
Quiet, moves sufficient air for it's size. none Truly is relatively quiet. Half the fans I obtain have a seriously low sound level dB spec but they are in fact fairly loud and no exactly where close to the claimed spec. This one is fine.

Decent airflow. I bought these since of their supposed quietness, but have discovered that they drone more than the ones they replaced. The packaging in more impressive than the fan.

Comments: I guess if I were a techie I would recognize the concern about keeping electronics cool. I see two avilable selections, one particular have manufactures and designers produce lower powered devices or add more fans or other cooling devices. Just before creating this obtain I wondered how on earth could a fan this smaller make any meaningful reduce in the temperature inside my laptop. Come to discover out, it doesn't. Theorectically if the situation was strong and tight the only air leakage is at the vent holes. A vent hole in the front and a vent hole in the back with fans pulling air via the case does not make a substantial change in internal temperature. But it does allievate the convection existing that otherwise would occur. This fan is no exception. Very good fan, it operates. There is a single reason I bought this fan...I will need one particular.

Quiet, does what its supposed to do. None. I cant get really excited more than a fan, but this 1 is considerably additional quiet than the one particular I had in my mini case and nevertheless moves a great amount of air. It gets the job performed.

Comments: When I 1st utilised this fan, I was disappointed. It is NOT completely silent right out of the box. (Most 60mm fans are not incredibly quiet. They have to move too significantly air to cool.) Now, even though I am really content. But to get this way I had to set up a silicone gasket among the fan and the case. I utilised the a single created by Silicon Accoustics. I also hooked the fan up to the temperature-controlled fan speed controller on the motherboard. Now my computer system is actually whisper quiet.

Comments: I purchased four of these thinking they would be just as silent as the 80 mm Stealth fans I adore. Nevertheless, I discovered them to be a lot louder and because these were going in a HTPC I wasn't content. I decided I would rather tape, glue, or hold up a 80 mm Vantec Stealth in any Pc rather than use these fans. The dB rating was misleading as they had been considerably louder than the 80 mm Stealth and they move so considerably less air. the 60mm Stealth is rated 20 dB and 12 CFMthe 80mm Stealth is rated 21 dB and 27 CFMI can vouch for the Vantec 80mm getting really quiet but the 60mm is significantly noisier and this is on a sampling of about ten 80mm Vantec Stealth's and four 60mm Vantec Stealth's I have used. If you need to have perfectly silent 60mm fans these aren't the ones you want.

Moves an impressive amount of air looks very sturdy like it was built to last all with out a whole lot of noise. Added this to my thermaltake lanbox lite gaming pc proper above the graphics card a sapphire vapor x 5750 which does not have an enclosed fan so that corner of my case was usually hot added this poor boy in and all my troubles went out the case by way of the fan now very cool may possibly replace the other two case fans which are quiet but don't truly push out a entire out of air. None

Quiet tiny fan. Not adequate airflow. I bought this to replace an old system's noisy 60mm casefan. Advocate you go with a little more airflow. I will probably replace it someday. Functions OK for now.

Function as advertised. Bought two of these to replace fans in my HDVR2 Series two DirecTivos and they are whisper quiet and keep them at least as cool if not cooler than the factory fans. None to report Highly recommended. It's genuinely amazing how quiet they are. My Tivo went from "Is there a UPS-truck running via the home?" to seeking at the light to make certain it's still on.

Comments: I bought three of these to replace somwhat noisy Global case fans that came installed in a case. I chose the Vantec Stealth fans because I have a 92mm stealth running on the SPU sink in a different box, and it functions fantastic and is silent. The 60mm fans are absolute junk. I saw a few scattered evaluations that reported a high-pitched whine and chattering with them; but disregarded them mainly because of my pleaure with the 92mm version. All 3 60mm had been loud with a high-pitched whine, and any attempt to run them at any less than 12V resulted in audible clicking from rough bearings. I would assume I got a defective fan, had not ALL three been equally bad. The fans were mounted on full pull-through rubber grommets, and had no contact with the case, and but the junk Global 60mm fans that came with the case were quieter... even when the Worldwide fans had been mounted with screws and not even a gasket. Keep away from.

- Fairly affordable- Adapter for MOLEX is appreciated- Good packaging - Quite loud I bought this hoping that it'd be a little on the quiet side, whilst it's very the opposite. It's substantially louder than even my Core I3 CPU fan. If you are searching for quiet, appear elsewhere.

Moves adequate air to be helpful. I may be lucky, but the 3 of these that I got are well balanced and don't cause noise from vibration. Airflow isn't that wonderful, but in all probability near/at the rated amount of 12cfm. Making use of these to supplement a 4U case that currently has quite excellent airflow. Only in use for 25 days so far. I will have them running 24ǝ. If 1 fails, I'll be back to comment.

Nice packaging Noise level. I can't believe these are billed as stealthy and/or quiet. They ƒ out of two) are significantly more noisy than the affordable fans that came with the case.4-pin molex power adapters don't adequately grip the 3-pin power plug. If you'll be transporting your final product, your fans will be disconnected from the power adapters upon arrival.

I like this fan since I can either use as a case fan or a replacement fan for my heat sink. It has the the three pin attachment for the motherboard and it had an attachment so you can hook it to a power provide connector. I purchased two of these to have on hand. None so far. By way of the prodding of a relative I got talked into developing a desktop. I built my own computer system in 2005 and bought all the components ( except for the case) from Newegg, and I have also bought a lot of replacement parts and accessories.I have been quite pleased with Newegg. All of my purchases have arrived by regular shipping on time or early. All of the items I have ordered have worked nicely to date. I extremely recommend Newegg.

Works fine The supplied screws are harder to use then it must be. Funny thing is that I replaced a case fan that was too noisy by this fan, just to locate out that the bad fan was exactly the exact same make & model! Hope this is not a predictor of noises to come...

Comments: This is a excellent item. It is produced of heavy plastic. There is very little vibration when it runs. It is not entirely silent when operating full blast. I use it with a Vantec Nexus fan controller. You can choose for oneself how a lot noise you want to trade for air flow.

This is a excellent replacement for the north bridge fan for the EVGA 750i FOR THE WIN motherboard. Extremely quiet and moves a lot of air! The only thing I would complain about would probably be the wires aren't wrapped but then once more most fan wires aren't. I just employed double sided tape to get it to remain on the NB. Some individuals use zip ties but I think double sided tape creates a cleaner appear.
