FANIts that loud. FANDoes specifically what its meant to, feels really top quality just to hold. Reminds me of that "Tornado" thing they sell on Tv that goes in your air intake to make a cyclone, enhancing fuel efficiency. You will want a method of fan manage if you get this. You may run into compatibility issues with fan controllers due to this fans four pin and three pin connectors, but there are workarounds. I utilised a modded rosewill fan adapter cable that is readily available on newegg to make mine function, and its Great as soon as its controllable. I keep it around 2000 rpms on regular use, and if the server gets busy or visibly hot according to the scythe fan controller, I crank it to 5500 and its like WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Ideal 80 mm fan in my opinion. Compatibility with fan controllers. Thick, like over an inch thick. Be ready. And LOUD at max. I know some fans incorporate a speed switch, that would have been a really pleasant addition. Worth every bit of the ten bucks it price.

This fan is incredible! I had two of them operating in a pc I built a few years back and they were overkill. I connected 1 to an aftermarket heat sink on my CPU and the other as a program exhaust and had those each connected to a fan speed controller. I kept them running as low as possible and it was nevertheless sufficient air flow for my purposes. If you need to have it cool, this is your fan. None. Think about this: I had my computer facing a window in my space with curtains on it. When I turned the fan all the way up, the curtains would move in the breeze these issues designed…the window is 15 feet away from the laptop or computer. They are loud󈼏 decibels coming from an 80mm fan is some really serious noise. I chose not to list this as a con due to the fact anybody who buys these fans for anything other than air movement is not shopping smart. Again, if it wants to be air cooled, this is the fan for you.

Pushes a lot of air Its so loud that i cant even use it. Now i wish i in no way bought it. I built a media server that streams videos to my ps3 and it has 6 hard drives. So with all these difficult drives the inside of the case heats up a lot. Properly i essential to add some cooling so i located this fan and read all the evaluations and a lot of them stated loud. So i thought hell i have 9 fans in my Antec 900 case that i would deem loud so i figured a fan couldn't get any louder than those. well i was wrong....This fan is so loud i cant even use it so know i feel like i just entirely wasted funds. This fan should not be utilized at residence. So now im going to locate one more 80mm and i guess just let this fan collect dust.

If you need to have CFM, you get it with this fan. It blows like crazy. I use a pair of these fans to cool external HD's in my disc jockey rig. They are so loud, you can almost hear them over my music at high volume. If you want insane CFM you also have to get insane noise. These fans are built like tanks. Don't acquire them to put in a typical fan mount on a (example) Antec case. They will not fit the snap in holders. These units are approx. twice the size of a usual chassis fan. These fans rock.

These monsters push a lot of air. The noise is loud though I knew what I was getting into. For most the noise, but I have no concern with it. I have 4 of these monsters in my Lian Li case. I can say they are quite loud. To battle the noise if you will need to, you can get a fan speed controller to tame the beast a bit if you may well want. I purchased one for mine to tame them when not playing any games on it. To tame it you should be careful with a fan controller. Each of these fans rated voltage is 12v, and 9.1w. You'll have to find a controller able to handle the 9.1w per channel. Some fan controllers aren't rated that high and may well not work appropriately. Taming these monsters will bring the air flow down along with the noise so standard conversation can be gained without having yelling.

-Will blastcool any rig effortlessly. -MY WORD IT'S BLOODY LOUD.I really removed it from my rig due to the fact its noise levels were annoying the hell out of me. But it undoubtedly does what it's supposed to (and earns its name and then some). I hope you have the potential to tone down this fan's RPM when in low usage circumstances!

This fan seriously pulls the air out of a case, all my case temps plummeted immediately. Was running about 70C 158F now sitting at 35C or 95F, pretty superior fan.I would recommend the fan specially if you operate in a noisy office setting. Truly LOUD!!! Almost deafening, and no LEDs, this fan sounds like a hairdryer on low setting it is pretty noisy, but for the dual fan design and the reality it pulls all of 1100 rpm and sucks every single bit of 86CFM I will sacrifice the quiet for the performance.MAN I wish it had LEDs!!! Comes with three plugs, 1 (yellow lead) for your MB to sense off of, and 1 male 4 prong and 1 female four prong. Functions with just one particular either male or female plugged in and the yellow lead to the case fan plug.

Moves a lot of air. About as loud as a hairdryer. For an idea of the actual benefit of making use of a cooler like this, you might want to actually carry out a calculation, and figure it out.The Grimison correlation will be helpful in generating this calculation, in particular if you are using a heat pipe with fin cooling technique for your CPU. Recall also that if you are utilizing a heat pipe method, you are limited to a temperature equal to the boiling temperature of the fluid in the tubes.Ambient air temp is also vital. Do not expect a temp for your cpu much less than 10CቮF above ambient, as the difference in temperature is the driving force for removing heat. The only way to overcome that limitation is really to go to a liquid method with a compressor, which is seriously a point of diminishing return.~Your friendly, neighborhood chemical engineer.

Brought case temps down drastically. Typical 20 F degree difference operating at about 1Ǚ speed. If you can take the noise at full speed, a pair of these will do about a 30-50 F degree reduction overall. Geesh...Could you speak a bit louder, Please. These fans, although quite efficient, sound like hair dryers running. They literally Scream. Get your self a fan controller for each and every! Without that, you need to be in an Industrial atmosphere to run them full speed.! Uh, could you repeat that 1 much more time? I appear to be suffering a hearing loss. All jokes aside, these fan do a Wonderful job, specially if you have restricted space.

I have been employing stacks of these for years as a easy upgrade more than stock coolers and i have never had any problem with any of them. no noisy fans, no failures of any kind and not a single failed CPU even with light overclocking. they are also incredibly quiet in particular when hooked up to a motherboard with PWM manage or a fan controller. the UV reactive plastic also looks superb under UV lights and also equally excellent under LED case lighting which makes this cooler look proper at property. They turn out to be challenging to clean after awhile but that is to be expected for un-plated aluminum. Fan speed could be slightly more quickly but that could ruin the near quiet appeal these units have. They also come in black, which essentially has superior thermal properties than this unit but both use the identical fan and perform very properly. for the money they can hardly be beat. from single core semprons to phenom x4's it gets the job performed.

Moves a ton of air, the thing can take off, lol if you put it on a desk it can propel itself across a smooth surface... It can literally pump all the air in a small room through your case in a couple of minutes. It's loud, wants a fan controller if you want to use it at house.

I just order two of these fans along with a controller, so I don't know how dependable they are, but several seem to be making use of it in the wrong way. If you have more air leaving a space than coming in you get lower air pressure in that space and, consequently, lower temps. Every person seems to have this notion that if you blow on one thing it will cool it off, but the Bernoulli Principle (the similar thing that keeps airplanes aloft) is a lot far more effective than "pushing" air around. The Mexicans have built their haciendas working with the Bernoulli impact as a type of primitive air conditioning for centuries. So you adjust one fan (the exit) to preserve a consistently greater voltage than the input fan, and voila: air conditioning! I fully grasp these are loud. Adjusting the voltage (either automatically or manually) can help, but I just have one word: earplugs. Well, or noise-canceling headphones...

Keeps my 9950BE below 55*C at full load utilizing the STOCK Phenom heatsink, saved me the hassle and dollars of yet another aftermarket cooler. NONE Not practically as loud as I was led to believe, my TT Intelligent Fan II's ࿰mm)are almost as loud, and that doesn't bother me at all. Once I closed my case up, all I can hear is the Ultra Kaze I use as an exhaust fan. The Vantec is a great fan, I'll be ordering a lot more!

Move a lot of air. It lowered the program temperature by 5C. Loud. The system cable is short. Loud. The fan doesn't appear to be able to be controlled by my MB. Loud. Oh, and did I mention it is loud? Man this factor is loud. I have ordered an additional fan and I expect I will be putting the original case fan back in. I guess I didn't comprehend how loud the 56 dB noise would be. It is smaller than my original fan and it is high speed.

This fan moves a lot of air. When I turn it up my wife calls me Tim allen. :-) more power.. Loud, loud, loud. I have it hooked up to a fan controller and even at low rpms its still loud. Unless its running at full rpms you get readings that are way off. Anything under 4k and the readings jump to 64000 rpms in hardware monitor. This fan renders other fans in the case useless if they are blowing in the similar direction relative to the case.

This fan puts out a lot more air than a premium brand high output 120mm fan with the exception of DELTA brand fans.I had no concept that the laws of physics would enable an 80mm fan to blow this difficult. It literally would float on my desk if I turned it blow side down. LOUD LOUD - Not truly a con.I dont recommend these on a gaming personal computer or house PC with out modding the power input by indicates of a fan controller or a resistor in line somewhere. Get it, for 13 dollars it doesnt get far better PERIOD!!I am going to purchase about 10 more of these soon. They are that superior.
