Verbatim 8.5GB Dual Layer DVD+R 2.4X 20 Disc Spindle

What can I say? I have in no way had a single disc fail on me other than by means of human error. I've stuck with Verbatim considering that I began employing DVD Blank Media and they haven't given me a reason to switch brands. You can use them to:- Back-up your movie collection.- Save larger information files than with DVD-/+R- Back-up your game collection.- Bookmark it to DVD-ROM so they're a lot more compatible with older/picky dvd players. Limited to 4x write speed, but it's advertised as so and it's not seriously a con. I wish they had been much less pricey. That seems to be the only gripe when it comes to DVD+R DL by Verbatim. I find it challenging to think that they can't spare us a few bucks per unit.

DVDs burn extremely nicely, No issues whatsoever. None I used to stick to Memorex and JVC for DL DVDs, but not anymore.

I about gone through all 20 that I got and I haven't had any not finalize 1 me, which is as far as most people go with burning (i.e. the don't verify what's on the disc). About 20% of them didn't verify (which I feel is essential for backing up my 360 games). At a around a buck and a quarter a piece I expect all of them to verify correctly immediately after becoming burned at 2.4x. These appear like exceptional discs for most people, but they're overpriced for my taste.

None negative so far. They burn a tiny slow but maybe the massive 2.4X on the disk could have clued me in on that. Quite great good quality overall.

100% burned fine at 4x on a Samsun SH182 burner. High-priced per disc compared to others brands. You pay for leading of the line excellent.

The only bad burns I've ever produced with Verbatims were my own fault. For all my dual-layer burning requirements, I swear by these discs. It takes some time to burn a complete disc at two.4x. Then once again, the faster you burn, the much more opportunities there are for errors to happen. Don't shop your dual-layer discs too close to your single-layer discs, specifically if they're the identical brand. The feeling you get when you know you wasted a dual-layer on a single-layer job, in a word, sucks.

100% good results so far employing these discs with ImgBurn. I have employed 10 discs all images were burned successfully, no problems whatsoever. The quality is second to none for DL discs. Newegg shipped quick and I got them rapidly. Nicely worth the dollars spent, no headaches. Definitely none! I was employing Memorex DL prior to using Verbatim. I was completely aware that Verbatim is the way to go but I tried to cut corners. Not only were the Memorex discs ruining my laptop DVD drive I was receiving a 40% good results burning rate which was just painful. Do yourself a favor, if your going to burn ISO pictures then spend a couple added bucks and just obtain the Verbatim discs. On 1 final note, the discs I received had been from Singapore.

Stop seeking around. I have been making use of these Verbatim media for years. As far as DVDs go, the DL and single layer Verbatims are the greatest for the money. They do not fail, and they are fairly "scratch resistant". I have tried lots of the other "high finish" discs that expense more than these. The cost does not justify their use, as I have had minimal issues of any form with all Verbatim media, no matter the nation of origin. I see a lot of evaluations suggesting that particular batches of Verbatim from certain countries are bad. I believe this is a load of hooey, and it is much more most likely the person saying this doesn't know what they are talking about. I have had Verbatim media from each country it was ever created in, and 99% or far better has been very good. The burning issues I have had are traceable back to failing burners and/or software program troubles. I feel like a Verbatim salesman praising them like this, but they are such a wonderful deal, and such a good item. They aren't totally free?? What is it with some people saying that discs go negative following 5-ten years? I have CD burns that are rather old, and they are ALL 100% intact. What type of crummy discs/burners/software are the complainers utilizing? I am highly suspicious that my DL Verbatim burns will much more than likely outlive my great excellent grandchildren. These batch of DVDs are better than the ones i use to get.you can tell by the rims of every single dvd as they are rounded and not square, this means the high excellent of the dvds. if you're looking for rapid burn (games) withno coasters! greatest brand of DL DVD out there

dual layer capacity , up to 8.5 gig,(even although dvd fab platnium only permitted me 8gig per disc) quite trustworthy maker in verbatim, low failure rate(I had 1 out of 80 negative burns, but may also be my fault) 2.4X burn speed, label says up to 6X, but I only got three.4-three.8X max on a new sony optica with a dl burn of ten-12x. slow burns࿈ min) if you are copying movies or any type of images or music . purchased these only because the 8X was sold out at the time.. verbatim is the only way to go.. invest a couple of extra pennies per disc and acquire the very best. you wont regret it as time goes by.. other brands WILL break down more than time

From reading other posts; the country of origin is Singapore. I can't judge if this makes a difference as I haven't utilized any from the other nation they are manufactured in. None I'll be generating slide shows in iMovie and then employing some of these to burn in iDVD. Have to see how they hold up.

Exactly where cost ahead of like า.99 but lately have gone down in cost which is very good, proper... Fantastic for movies, games, data, pictures, music you name it they are champs.Verbatim do not settle for inferior dvd r+ dl and use what the pros knows and functions...

These had been excellent. 100% clean with no coasters. Though I do burn all of my discs at the lowest write speed... Especially since dual layer discs are nonetheless really pricey, I want to know that they're trustworthy. Verbatim is that organization. None

I have burned various hundred DL Verbatim discs and had fewer than 1% failure, even when filled to capacity. Other brands were unable to burn much additional than 7GBs consistently. Effectively worth the expense, but I do wonder why they are so high when BR blanks are only slightly much more. I use IMGBurn and have had at least 3 diverse brands of burners with the same results. Other than costs, only that they are tough for me to open with my injured hands. In various forums, they refuse to discuss your complications burning unless you use Verbatim DLs.

Never.. EVER .. EVER had a Coaster.. EVERthese are the ABSOLUTE Best. if you see them on sale.. SNAGG them up I only obtain when on sale since super high-priced
