These discs are the best you can get for any sort of image backups or even simple data storage. I would recommend waiting for a sale, as these discs are often availiable at a reduced price.

I use these for large backups of my files. They are excellent discs and can carry LOTS of things (8.5 gb). The only cons about this is the price and the time it takes to burn.

My LG GSA H22N burns these DVD's at 6x using Nero 7 Ultra. Cuts my DVD use in half. If these DVD's get even cheaper, maybe they can be sold in 50 or 100 packs.

i have switched to Verbatim from Fuji film for a year or so, the result has been great, never a bad burn, stable at 4x on my NEC 3520Ajust make sure you get the Made in Singapore ones

the quality of the burns i get are much better than the memorex DL i have used in the past (less PIEs and PIFs). overall, i would highly recommend these for anyone needing DL discs.

Great product from verbatim. I use these to back up my XBOX 360 games burning at 2.4x and never have a problem. They often are featured and go on sale, so keep your eyes open for sales. Recommended product if using the MS-28 drive from Samsung in the 360.

Those are really satisfying up to now, they have that little pinkish color that appears when you move them around at sunlight. Too bad it costs that much $$...

To my best knowledge this is one of the best, if not the best, choice for producing Double Layer burns that last, and actually play. Too bad they're only 20 in the pack :)

I bought these on sale for $34.99 with an $11.00 MIR making the final price $23.99, a great price for DL discs, and the best make of them to top it off. The rebate came in the mail today, so it was great that it was honoured too. I have never had a coaster with these yet. Great for backing up movies that you just don't want to compress, like Criterion releases. I would recommend these to anyone.

These are by far the BEST dual layer DVDs you'll ever get on the consumer market. If you even care a little about your stuff, definately get these Dual Layers. Those Fuji or Memorex will be unreadable within a year or so. I don't think you'll mind paying a tad more if you actually care about your backups.

after doing some internet research i've bought 3 spindles of this package and i've burnt over 2 spindles worth of xbox360 backups with cloneCD. All jobs worked perfectly without any errors and zero coasters. this truly is the best for xbox backups.Burner pioneer 111d

Used some no name dl media and Memorex and nothing compares with Verbatim from my experience. Solid product.

rated 2.4x but should burn at 4x with good results (if not better, shaving off a lot of time) and 6x with OK results. it can burn at 8x on some drives, but i do not recommend it. if you want 8x, buy some 8x rated Verbatim (MKM 003).if you're looking to buy Dual/double layer media, Verbatim is the only brand you should consider and also stick with DVD+RDL, not DVD-RDL.

Dual layer still not very widely accepted by the user, due to the price, and also due to the needs.I was having problem with DL disk before, for backing up data. But found out that it is a good choice for backing up moives, guarantee to get 100% video quality, no more multiple disk, or compressed quality.And this one, may be not top quality, but good enough for my needs. Once I figure out how to backing up data properly, these DL disks may be my best option. But not now anyway.

I've bought these discs to back up my xbox 360 games. They are the best and they come highly recommenced. If you are going to backup xbox games, i recommended getting the pioneer dvr-111d burner available at ncix for a low price.

Price and quality wise for a dual layer disk, it is a very good choice. However, dual layer has not become the main stream. As a result, the price is still higher even compared to 2 single layer disk.

For $24, you can't beat these disks. I've traditionally purchased Maxell and Memorex Dual-Layered Disks, so this is the first time with Verbatim. I'm sure they won't let me down.

These spindles rocks. The best quality medias for the cheapest price around for DL. Plus they can overspeed up to 8x with my pioneer DVD recorder. Get these if you need DVD+R DL medias.
