Western Digital Scorpio Black 500GB 2.5IN 7200RPM SATA Notebook Hard Drive
Cons:
none
Pros: very quietfast500gbgood price Comment:
got this for my desktop pc, since i can't find a decent 3.5" drive that is quiet, and this seems to work good, and i dont notice much speed wise compared to the 3.5", recommend going 2.5" for people looking for a quiet drive for their pc |

Western Digital Scorpio Black 500GB 2.5IN 7200RPM SATA Notebook Hard Drive
Cons:
Tiny Bit Louder Than Basic Netbook Drive.
Pros: Fast, Quiet, Big, Cheap. Comment:
Bought this drive last week on sale to replace my WD Blue in my netbook, the noise level is a bit more noticeable compared to the blue, sounds like a little extra fan in my netbook but i got used to it after a day or so. The speed is very noticible everything runs faster, if you pick up a basic netbook i would recommend this HDD and a stick of 2gb RAM for a very nice upgrade. |

Western Digital Scorpio Black 500GB 2.5IN 7200RPM SATA Notebook Hard Drive
Cons:
doesn't include free-fall detection.
Pros: Fast and silent Comment:
my old 320 gb hard drive started to fail and my windows 7 insisted to try to get new hard drive. So I bought this cheap and reliable 500gig drive. this is the best 2.5 " hard drive i used so far. None of my 2.5 drives can beat this black scorpio drive. I high;y recomend this hard drive and i would buy it again if i need more later. |

Western Digital Scorpio Black 500GB 2.5IN 7200RPM SATA Notebook Hard Drive
Cons:
-some slightly loud seeks
Pros: -very quiet, minimal vibration Comment:
Had this one and a Seagate 500gb 7200.4 both beside each other. I thought the Seagate would have been quieter, but I was wrong. The Seagate made my MBP sound like it was about to take off. The WD makes barely any sound and almost no vibration. +5 year warranty is always good. Woot for WD! |

Cons:

Pros: speed is the only thing i can think of right now Comment:
great so far aside with the encluser requiring initailization. cant wait to use with laptop but for now it will just have to be used in the usb enclsure that i also purchased for use with xbox 360's new dashboard update |
I bought this drive to use with an enclosure. So far the drive works great and reads quickly. It feels just like a desktop drive. However, the drive does tend to get hot after extended use. It could be a problem with the enclosure.
