This is a follow-up Assessment. I ordered this Final year 10ተቢ and It was doing me fantastic, still undertaking me good. Even so. Now the supply appears to be dieing or maybe it is just a fan but i do not want to void the warranty and replace the fan, I think ill get another from Xclio if the warranty is far more than 1 year. It is a good power provide but its beginning to go soon after about 15 months (I game alot too, it was hooked up to a 7950 GT KO Superclocked and for the final 4 months a 8800 GT SSC.) So i consider i utilised it much more aggressively than the average user. Bottom line, I say get it if your on a price range and you do light - medium gaming but for high functionality go for a far more high-priced brand.

Marvelous psu appears cool highly steady wiring is strong Fan died just after 1 year Had to replace fan which most individuals would just decide to purchase a new PSU. Was creating a horrible grinding noise. Had no decision. Otherwise this PSU is best notch, extremely pleased just disappointed.

Great power supply, hasn't let me down however.When I place it in, I made confident it didn't "Seep" out electrical power.It didn't. Arrived to my property in functioning order, the package was larger than expected, which is very good, because if the PSU is jumbled about it wouldve been fine (it was surrounded in styrofoam peanuts, whereas the Rosewill powersupply I ordered previously was not. This has been a excellent power supply to me. I have owned it for a small over 1 year now and no complications whatsoever. I have it operating a highly overclocked e6400, 2 dvd burners, 3 harddrives, and a video card. All of these have been operating just about 24ǝ for over 365 days straight (I rarely shut down my laptop or computer). Would surely obtain yet again! None.

Works ideal out of box, has eight pin 12V connector for newer motherboards, great solid construction, all the connections you require. None so far. Powers my EVGA 680i SLI mobo with e6400 two.13, 2g of OCZ ddr2 1066, two x 7600GT XXX 256mb SLI, 2 WD raptor hdd, 1 Maxtor IDE drive, 1 dvd/rw, two 120 mm case fans with steady energy.

Operates fine in a overclocked and unlocked Phenom II x3 @ x4 three.5ghz machine with two old Maxtor ATA-133 HDs in RAID with active PATA-SATA adapters... and has accomplished just fine with an HD 3850, HD 4850, HD 4870, HD 5830 and an EVGA GTX 265, all overclocked. Great create excellent, quiet fan... No cable management Fantastic PSU for the money. I believe this uses Antec/Channel Properly internals.

Decent hunting. Quiet. Effective. Warranty service was decent. I purchased two of these, both from Newegg, 1 in Sep 2006, and another in Dec 2006. One particular failed inside the 1st year. I sent it back to the manufacturer and it was replaced with a new unit manufactured in Nov 2006. One more just failed out-of-warranty, not positive if it was the replacement unit from the 1st failure or the second unit, but it was someplace between 2 and 3 years old. Started receiving super hot could fry an egg on the outer case w/ fan running. Replaced fan anyway to no avail. Hot hot hot.. dead dead dead Replaced with cooler master psu so far so excellent

A single of the best Energy Supplys for the price. none If you are looking for a cheep PS I would not go any cheeper that this a single unless you like to listen to a PS fan and don't actually care about your laptop or computer.

I must say that this is a PSU that I would advise to anyone creating a method from mild to moderately high components. This is running my AN832 deluxe SLi, fx60 oc'ed to 2.9GHz, 2Gb DDR dual channel oc'ed, xfx 7600gt xxx oc'ed to 650뫯, two seagate 320Gb Raid , & two pioneer dvd-+rw drives in my antec 900. No excessive heat, & fan is scarey quiet! Crazy not to get 1! Looking forward to replace my 7600gt w/ a 8800GT, burn it in & start out OC'ing it!!!!
