Installed simply. Cheap. Noisy fan! I use my computer for multi-track recording and purchased this based on testimonials that said it is quiet. It isn't. Seriously, I couldn't think how significantly louder it is than the Antec it replaced. Really disappointed. My wife's old beater computer is quieter! Now I wonder if it is worth my effort to order another PS from newegg to solve the noise challenge. How do I know in advance if it will be quiet sufficient for my use? Reviews? Item description? Not certain who to think, and tired of wasting my dollars.

Very good top quality PSU for it's value.Lasted from 05ቲባ to 06ቝቦ.Had this PSU on for practically 24ǝ straight for more than 3yrs.Never was it powered off for more than 15 minutes, now tho, it's powered off for life. This PSU powered four internal storage drives. 3 External SATA/USB storage drives. Geforce 9800GTX+. Intel Duo Core E6600 Conroe processor without having any issues, till it died. 1yr warranty only. It was a good PSU even though it lasted. Tho, 3yrs is not bad, was hoping for a significantly longer lifespan. I've had only 1 other great PSU (贄+ value) died on me, that's due to my recklessness. This 1 on the other hand decided to give out just from being on non-cease (tho the dust construct up could've had one thing to do with it.) โ for 3yrs of service is not too shappy.Don\'t forget folks, you can keep away from quite a few headaches and frustrations with a very good excellent PSU when assembling a new Pc method. So don't be low-cost on a PSU. Get a great quality 1.It's hard to come across a decent PSU at this cost range from my local retailers. Will order a greater PSU from newegg, such as the CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX. It's a small a lot more high priced than this 1, but taking my own guidance, it's very best to invest on something that will last.

I bought this unit for my Athlon 6400+, SLI technique. I wanted power but was attempting to remain on the low end of the budget and XCLIO answered the call. Functions beautifully! I would have preferred the fan location to be in a additional conventional location, but it just helps make my tower a lot more of a vacume than it currently is. Good power for the value.

120mm fan. Runs cool and really quiet. Lots and lots of connectors for anything you might possibly want to hook up. It had a small dent in the side of it. It didn't seem harmful to it other than cosmetic, so I didn't RMA it. It wouldn't be worth the trouble as it works fine. Just don\'t forget when shopping for a inexpensive PSU, look at the amp rating and not the watt rating. Manufactures tend to be quite optimistic about the wattage of PSUs. Amps tell the genuine story.

Simply the greatest deal on a solid power supply. It'll run 500W 100% of the time (not just as a surge rating like other cheap energy supplies). It's virtually absolutely silent.Mine has been rock solid with no voltage drop for over a year now. One of my customers is running two 8800GTX Ultra cards in SLI along with 4 challenging drives and an Intel Quad Core on one of these with no difficulties. Could have utilized far more than four SATA Tough Drive connectors. The 2nd PCIe energy connector is by way of an included adapter that takes up two of your molex connectors. Depending on your case arrangement, it could render one entire chain of molex connectors useless in a SLI program. Been powering my method on one of these for a year:Biostar TF-7025 MotherboardAthlon X2 brisbane 3600 overclocked to two.7GHz2GB Muskin DDR2-800MHz RAMBFG GeForce 8800GT w/ 512MB RAMSB X-Fi Xtreme Gamersix 7200RPM Difficult DrivesDVD-RW driveX-Clio ATX case

It's genuinely low cost. Of course for 50 dollars you won't get considerably, but this factor has powered my core two duo e4300 (overclocked to two.7ghz), 4 difficult drives, 1 dvd drive, x1900xtx, and 2gb of ram perfectly fine. Right after installing a 4870 it sorta freezes. It's not genuinely a con... those cards are particularly energy hungry. Would advocate if you're not going quad core or thinking about high end video cards

Worked just fine out of the box, came with all the hardware needed. Looks fairly good! Runs the biostar 590 sli board, 4800x2, 2x 3870 iceq's, 4gb ram just fine ! pretty stable voltage !! will buy once again for next budget pc! Gets hot, good airflow is a plus. Cables shoulda have been sleeved. Could have installed a different fan in the powersupply.

At the moment running my e6750, 8800gt, sata HD, DVD, 3gigs of RAM, and X-Fi Pro. No difficulties. Had to bump the voltage a bit to get my ram stable but that has nothing to do with the PS- so "none" but I am worried about what will happen when I go SLI this month. Running powerful right after 3 months. This was the 1st piece of my spending budget-rig puzzle, along with a case, and for the cost you can't beat it. Cutting corners like this helped me get up and running, and now three months later I'm ready to upgrade to SLI, so if this PS can't hang, I'll just upgrade the PS in a couple weeks. If you're on a budget and/or married, it's the only way to go. Check out ev**'s Stepup program for one more corner to cut with your vid card.

Has plenty of power connectors. Virtually too several, but with decent cable management it's not even an problem. A tad loud, but not horrible. The fan is on the bottom of the power supply. This wouldn't commonly be an problem, but it could pose a difficulty when you have a big heatsink and fan. I prefer to have the fan on the back of the power supply so nothing inhibits it, but I suppose having the fan blow into the case may be valuable in a few scenarios.

Quite simple to install and a excellent upgrade to the standard 300W PSU that came with my now older HP Pavillion a1430n. Appears to be sturdy and nicely built. Powers my 4GB of RAM and Nvidia GeForce 8500GT with no complications. Fan is not as silent as some thing like a Corsair PSU, but it is quiet and not a challenge. For the cost this can not be beat for a person not into heavy gaming like me. Came well packed and promptly shipped as always. Thanks NewEgg!
