In Short, AWESOME... Nice Price. I had to upgrade my power supply to ensure the card didn't cause any problems. Running AMD 3.2 PC (Single Core) with 2 MB RAM. Playing games like FC2, BF2 with video settings almost completely maximized, NO LAG AT ALL. Nice Job On this card.

The card ran great right out of the box. Powerful graphics for games. Lifetime warranty. Now the bad stuff. The fan and heatsink are too small for the amps this card draws, so it ran really hot, even when it didn't have much work to do, when playing games it really gets loud. Finally it bit the dust while playing fallout 3. I got about 1 month of gaming out of it, and only a few hours of Fallout 3. I just sent RMA to XFX a couple days ago. When I get it back I'm selling it on eBay, I already bought the EVGA counter part. Advice, get the EVGA or BFG 9800 GT, they are a few more bucks but quieter and cooler. Reviewed 4-15-09

for that price get 2 and you can really play the latest games on high settings , for Crysis , go 2 www.incrysis.com and get the tweaks. of course as usual TD is the bomb

Wow great gaming card I have even played Crysis with this card med sitings. Just make sure you have a big enough power supply. Your not geting a better card at this price any place! So buy it already!

wrote a comment meant for this card to the bfg model by mistake ,,,put together a machine with quad core cpu , chipset geforce sli 8200 and 8 gb of ozc pc 6700 800 mhz sli, and of course card is sli and it smokes....great card for the money and would buy another to run two if I would have bought a diff. board....great card...taken everything that has been thrown at it and hasn't even burped once...

This is a fantastic upgrade to my 8600 gtx. Eats Half-Life 2 and UT3 for breakfast. Runs Crysis very well on a 1440x900 resolution using medium settings. Good gaming card. Definitely worth the price.

I bought this card and a 750 watt power supply from Tiger Direct. I am very pleased with both of the products and shipping was fast, got it within 3 business days. The 9800 GT double my fps on WOW. Looking to upgrade my MB and go SLI soon. Will buy another card from Tiger.

I bought this last month. It was defective out of the box and never did display properly. XFX support was very responsive and declared it defective asking if I wanted to RMA. I RMA'd with Tiger, (thanks Tiger), and tried to get another. Not available. I got the EVGA 9800GT and it rocked right out of the box. The fan was quieter too. So the XFX was a great looking card at a great price that did not work. Hence the rating. I have heard from some retail stores that as many as one out of ten video cards can be defective out of the box, so just throwing it out there.

I bought this card to relpace my asus 7800 that burnt out. This card is GREAT! runs call of duty 4 on the highest settings at a constant 60 fps. plays crysis on the highest at about 15 fps, but its probly just limited by my system The ONLY thing i have had any trouble with is the fact that this card runs hot! make shure u have decent cooling!

I bought this card to replace the aging ATI X300 that came in my XPS system... To give you an idea of the improvement--I was using ATITool to overclock my old card, the rotating cube was averaging 32 FPS @ stock speeds... I installed the 9800GT, and the rotating cube averages 888 FPS! This card has breathed new life into my old games-- BF2, HL2 and other Orange Box games... all at max settings. Great card @ this price point, especially if you're gaming on a screen 22'' or smaller.

I was upgrading to this card from a 8600GT. it is AMAZING! Plays all the gams that I have on high video settings. most of my games I run at 2048 x 1536 on a 22'' Monitor with all the settings on high, and have no lag at all. Very good Value

This is a great card for the money, however if I said the fan is loud I would be lying. The fan is very loud. My computer has four 120mm fans and was quiet. Now it's so loud I'm considering taking the card out. The noise is annoying. Who needs that?

The heatsink on this card is not great and cooling is nt good either. The card stays pretty warm. Would buy EVGA next time, but i can;t complain, it's a good card overall.

This thing works amazing, I'm playing every game i own at max settings at 1680 X 1050 with 4X AA or higher. It doesn't OC as high as my last card. But it is so much faster it's well worth the trade off (was using a 8300GS) Mine didn't come with the DVI to VGA adapter as well as the power adapter. Thankfully my minitor is DVI and i have the proper connects. Will buy XFX again, great products.

First off i would like to say i didnt ever have a graphics card ever! I have been playing games on onboard graphics,games like Gunz the duel World of Warcraft and cs 1.6. But that was all i could run. Until I purchesed this. Upon purchase i bought crysis warhead to test this out. AMAZING!!! idk anything better so this was the best purchase I have made for my computer ever. Good bye xbox 3shitty

I've never written a review on something I've bought before, but this card is just amazing! I can play any game new and old, Crysis runs on high runs at 30-40fps and on very high 25-30fps. I am very impressed about the price too, only $100 for this great card, its probably the best deal you can find. And by the way, I'm 13, but I probably know more about this stuff than most of the teachers in my school, my specs: XFX 9800 GT 512MB, Intel C2D e8400@3.0ghz, 4gb of ram, 420w processor, Vista home premium 64-bit and everything runs great!!!

This a great card for the price. The video review above says it all. I'm running Cod4, HL2: E2, Orange Box games, Titan Quest, all at max settings -1440x900. Quad core with 6GB RAM. I get 290+fps (!) in some indoor areas in HL2:E2. PLayed through the FEAR2 demo today and it looked and ran beautifully. I upgraded from a 8600GT. Noticed a difference immediately. If you are a little strapped this is the card for you. Just make sure you have adequate cooling and a decent 500W PSU to keep everyone happy.

This card is really good im upgrading from a XFX 8600 XXX. My games play that much smoother is awsome!. Tiger Direct thank you for the fast shipping.. but a poor ass job of putting the package at the right house. My package was delivered 4 houses down at my sisters friends house the box has my address on it and everything the guy said he shipped it to his house because his name was the same as mine :/ LEWLS !! but other than that poor ass job it is great!

I bought this card to replace a 6800 256MB. The card is 8'' long so check for space. I have a 22'' wide screen LCD set at 1600 x 900 pixels. Quake 4 runs at 120 frames/sec at high settings. The fan is quiet. GPU-Z shows that my card is based on the 65nm GPU not the 55nm. This is really a remarketed 8800 GT. I like the card. The price is right in the $120 range.

Awesome card, I Went from an ati 9800pro, athalonxp, to gefore 9800gt(lol) and it is way faster!Great, Crysis runs 25fps b 1280x1024 everything VERY HIGH! I can get 4800ppd for folding at gpu2 client. Since I use this mainly for FOlding at home, I have it at 100% load alot and the temps are 74C at 100% fan speed and 77ishC at 60% fan speed. At 60% the noise is alright but over that and it is very loud.

Sweet Card! Went from a GF76000 256 card to this. Opened up the box and it was alot bigger than my other card. Slapped the new vid card in ran some games and noticed a nice increase of fps. Then I ran a bench mark and it crushed my old card Bench Mark by over double the score. Was considering the GF 98000 GTXX. Settled on this card for the gr$$n and not disapointed.
