Looks nicely constructed It cuts if you don't use gloves. actually hard to setup for AM3 platforms. Spent an hour and couldn't get it working on my X4 965 CPU, following my third attempt, I give up. directions are not extremely clear. Pricey. I'm returning this item to newegg. Clip style is not well implemented. COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus worked excellent on my X4 965.

This is completely the finest CPU fan I ever owned. It blows the air directly toward the case fan. So the two fans on a straight line clear the hot air heavily. My AMD CPU cooled down from 37C to 22C. And it is really quiet since the fan speed is only 2000 rpm. None so far. I'm lucky that I didn't get the 110mm or 120mm fan. This 92mm fan virtually touch the memory sticks in my Mid ATX tower.

I have my phenom II X3 (unlocked to X4) 3ghz more than clocked to 3.8ghz and my cpu temp in no way gets over 38C.amazing cooling and 100% copper. Make positive you have alot of clearence, this issue is Enormous!From the base to the best of the fins is 5.5" tall X three.5" wide. I was floored when I got this issue in the mail and saw what a major box it came in, then when I pulled it out, WOW. I have never noticed such a huge cpu fan ahead of in my entire life.

amazing cpu cooler! keeps temps about 10-15C cooler at idle, which drops my amd x2 down into the TEENS!hope it lasts forever!! substantial, so you may well need to eliminate your MOBO to attach it, but not a massive deal with todays setups :) Fantastic design, looks excellent, and the blue core appear to it make it look like the heart of your new rig!!

IT IS Quiet, Really Quite quiet, it comes with the fan mate remote which if its turned all the way the noise its barely noticeble i have it mid way idles at about 30c And complete load at about ㅠc on my AMD 955 thats about a five-ten degree drop from the stock sink It could be a bit tricky installing it, but nothing as well serious The shipping was Superfast and i mean super. i ordered the afternoon ahead of and got it this morning =] GO NEWEGG

Looks cool! Acts cool! Feels kinda sharp! Had to remove MB to set up. No 4 pin hookup. Applied on my AMD Athlon X2 6000+... dropped temps from 60c at complete load to 48c at full load on coreş and from 53c to 40c on core Š! (using core temp.exe to measure) I'm searching forward to seeing what it will do when I upgrade to a quad core!

The fan is Blue led. Incredibly original, you don't see this a lot.Intuitive design. It comes with this "Fanmate2" speed controler that you would route to the exterior of your case. It has a knob that adjusts the speed of the fan. It has a three pin connect, with and with out working with the fanmate. These 3-pin fans Cannot be controlled by the motherboard. You have to use the fanmate to control the speed.It is not the prettiest thing to appear at. I could not believe the quantity of good evaluations for this product. I opened it up and was baffled to comprehend that I would have to adjust the speed manually. Why on earth would everyone want this?!? Are people generally monitoring temps and then control the fan when the cpu heats up? It just does not make sense to me.I want my mobo to adjust the fan (PWM). Temp goes up->fan speeds up, temp goes down -> fan goes down. Who wants to remeber to turn a knob?I just ordered the Cooler Master Hyper 212.

Right after reading critiques, I was actually excited about finding this. It looks like a great heatsink, but that's about it. I'm rating it four stars, since it does the job, but not as much as I'd like it to.The fan is quiet, it's really uncomplicated to seat (AM3 socket), and the blue LED essentially looks nice and not obnoxious at all. The fan controller is a bit bulky, but it's uncomplicated to ziptie somewhere, so it's not in the way. 1 of my fins has some type of melted copper stuck to it, which isn't even a huge deal. I'm just nit-choosing at this point, and it was I'm confident just a random mishap. It just looks like a large clump.Soon after re-seating many occasions ƒ tubes of Arctic Silver), I have but to see something that was a drastic improvement over my stock heatsink. I'm stuck at a stable 3.7 overclock, which was specifically where I was at with my stock. Anything far more, and I jump into uncomfortable temperatures.I've tried the line, dot, and cross system many instances, none of which have had any improvement more than the other.Be careful when attempting to seat it, as I've cut myself several instances. It's surprising how effortless it is to be undertaking anything to your motherboard and accidentally run your hand across a single of the fins. It does keep my CPU cool. Front bay temp indicator shows no greater than 50C when playing SC2 mostly maxed out settings. It does fit on my Foxconn Destroyer Motherboard. Blue LED no longer works. I noticed it a although ago. It was operating for a while. This could be due to the front bay temp/fan controller I put in, which also controls this fan. Maybe one thing occurred in there and threw too significantly present in and burned the LED out. The fins are sharp, but that is very good. Implies surface-to-volume ratio is low, which means heat transfer is superior. Disappointed with the LED. Thinking about an attempt to replace the LED, perhaps to red. Barely fits in my CoolerMaster Wavemaster case. I knew the dimensions prior to purchasing, and I took measurements inside my case to make certain it would fit. Have about 1ǘ" amongst the heatsink and the side panel.

Truly tight squeeze on an MSI X48 Platinum. Copper fins are very sharp. Be careful when handling the heatsink - I cut myself a couple times. Brilliant cooler. I have a Phenom 965BE with the stock cooler and it wasn't compatible with my mobo due to the fact it needed a 4pin but my mobo is only 3pin. Generally it ran at the lowest fan speed. So I bought this Zalman hoping it would operate, and by golly it does. My temps applied to be40C idle, 60c below 100% load at three.4ghz (STOCK speed 1.2875v undervolted!)with the Zalman30C idle, 55c below 100% load at three.8ghz ʁ.45v! A small challenging to install offered the smaller space and also cut my finger. Those fins are sharp.But not worth taking an egg off because it's not a criticism of the actual product.

Wow, this thing is massive both in size and performance. Lucky I have a big case. The instructions made it simple to install. The CPU temp was OK till I located that I had forgotten to plug in my case fan, then it was great. It was quite slippery on the CPU throughout installation but due to the fact I installed it outside the case, I had no dilemma. The fins are razor sharp. I knew that from reading this thread but I nonetheless have small cuts all more than my hands. I hope dried blood doesn’t reduce the cooling power. Seeking at the setup brings to thoughts A big blower on top of 300 HEMI.

It lowered my temps 3-4 celsius degrees only(average). the Stock cooler on my (X4 965 C2 3.72Ghz) was holding my CPU at 41C iddle and 52 complete load, with Zalman Cooler i'm finding now 39C iddle and 48 complete load, I'm not impress with it, is not the major deal, but functions and keep my technique working great. Had to take apart my complete technique to install this CPU cooler. pretty costly thinking of such a modest benefit. I applied an artic silver five thermal compound with zalman unit. COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus is by far a much better product, it maintain my yet another CPU(X4 965 C3 three.68Ghz) at 35C iddle and 43 (full load) employing identical configurations, like same case, mobo, memory, cooling fan, etc), I utilized on my other system the thermal compound came with(cooler master one), I will be finding a different Hyper 212 next week and replace my present one particular.

Nice looking cooler. Does what its supposed to I guess. Kind of disappointed with the efficiency of this cooler. Keeps my Phenom II 965 BE 125 watt processor at about 33c idle and 41c beneath load, at stock clock and voltage. A little bump in clock speed/voltage sends it to about 60c under load. Switched to a coolermaster 212 that was about ฟ less expensive and got considerably far better outcomes. I expected alot more from a ฽ cooler. With a phenom you're much better off with your stock cooler than wasting ฽ on this.

I was having overheating issues on my Intel dual processor with the stock fan so I bought this puppy based off its powerful ratings. They are certainly deserved. I've been playing somewhat high-end games like ME2 and Bioshock and I've noticed a subtantial improvement in frame rate compared to the stock fan and am having no slow downs. All I can say is its a excellent item.

Excellent airflow and cooling, not quite loud even at full speed. The blue LED looks extremely sharp and nice. With my Storm Scout case i have to take out the top fan to get it hooked on and then put it back in, a minor annoyance but nonetheless a terrific HSF in all regards. Buy it

Cooper, blue led to match case fans, clears memory slots, lowered CPU, NB, and memory temps! All idle about 30c, and 35-40c when gaming for hours. This is with the fan on automobile :) Blows the hot air appropriate out rear exhaust fan. Installs sweetly and quick on AMD cpu. Optional fan controller integrated. Was a birthday gift or Free! Thanks Bro! Rather quiet even on complete speed. Fits nicely in my CM 690, has about 1 inch clearance from my side fans, and lines up fantastic with rear exhaust fan. It won't cool my temper, some thing I seriously will need support with. Don't assume about it, just order it. I'm making use of this on a AMD 7750 BE dual core, and it never gives it a chance to get hot whilst making use of the Auto fan setting on my Giga byte Mobo. I am positive it can handle higher watt cpu's as well, it will just have to really do work. I have run it at complete speeds, but it is not required with my setup.

Have a AMD PHII X4 965, and it runs 23C no load, 38C under full load. This cooler is incredibly quiet and does a wonderful job. I have now purchased 5 for all my new builds. I hugely suggest this CPU cooler. NONE
