Replaced the OEM Intel fan/heatsink with this one and it's worth the money. I overclock my E4300 to a modest 2.4GHz with pretty much stock voltage, but during heavy utilization, I measured CPU temps at around 54-56C and climbing with idle temps at around 34-36C. Now it idles at 26-28C and have yet to see it hit 50C. The highest I've seen my CPU hit was 47C and during game play and logging temps, the chart didn't go above 36C (idle temps with the old fan!). Probably not the best fan, but did the trick for me. Well worth the 6-10C drop in temps. P.S. I like the blue light! |

works good. didn't drop any degrees on my new p4. but i don't think its the fans fault. other than my computer venting problem, the fan itself seems to be working great everything i expected it is very quite and nice looking. i am over all impressed with this product |

This heatsink saved my CPU. Pentium Ds run hot, hot, hot. Previous cooler, a CoolerMaster Hyper6 held the temperature under load at 65C-75C. Literally, too hot to handle. This cooler brought the temperature down a full 20C! And, it's quiet. Blissfully quiet. |
Pros: Nice Blue LED and Heatsink Cons: CPU fan is not worth having on it. My Pentium D 820 2.8 GHz idles @ 57 C with the this CPU fan on it. I've replaced the fan with a higher power one and now Im idling @ 49 C. Load @ 50 % Does NOT go over 57 C. Thoughts: Great heatsink, crappy fan.
