I've owned this for more than 3 months and the panel has a nicely completed (fine brush pattern) aluminum front. It blends nicely with my Antec P180B.The 6 channels (knobs) with the blue-to-red LEDs are good (blue for low, red for high). Gives it a modern however refined really feel. The knobs turn quickly and quietly. None. I currently have four 120mm case fans attached to this panel Ƒ on every single channel). I like the finish and the blending. The initially two knobs are nice and are meant to be utilised with thermally-controlled fans that are also linked to the motherboard.I had to spend some time figuring out how to get it to stop wobbling up and down right after screwing it onto my situation's removable drive trays (with silicone tips on the screw holes).

Aluminium faceplate, does what it is supposed to do which is provide handle more than a multitude of fans (HAF 922 case). Using OEM Cooler Master 120mm and 200mm fans (no LEDs), no problems on startup even with 200mm fans with dial set at minimum. As mentioned previously, unit knocks about ten% off your max fan speed. Two out of the six knobs are wobbly, one of which is incredibly so - not sure how long that one will last just before it possibly breaks off. Expected a little superior for this amount of dollars. Regardless of the negatives, the controller has turned my wind farm into one thing bearable when I'm not carrying out a thing CPU intensive. If they improved their build excellent just a bit, I would be in a position to recommend without having reservation.

I've had this for about a month now, and have it installed to control my 7 process fans. (I own an NZXT Tempest and then added an additional one particular to redirect air.). Anyways, upon installation, every little thing worked fine. I put every thing on the lowest settings and now my technique is quiet beyond all cause. Cables produce a bit of mess without proper cable management.

Zalman fan controller fits in my Zalman GT-1000 case nicely. The knobs turn and the fan speed modifications just like it's supposed to do. Had it in my method for just a few days and an LED is out already. Just completed requesting an RMA on it. The knobs are flimsy as noted by other reviewers. Don't recognize why the finish on this is so various from my Zalman case because they're each black aluminum. I've got many pieces of Zalman gear and though it appears that they seem to be of high top quality, every piece has had some tiny concern which leads me to question their good quality handle method.

Clean look. Solid construction. Plethora of cables. Make sure you know what fans you're going to hook into this negative boy and plan for it when you're constructing your program as you will have a lot of cable clutter. Fantastic for what it does. Cost isn't genuinely an object for me - I go for solid construction and a pleasing look. This product delivers both. The connectors only support 3 pin fan energy connectors. It comes with two energy connectors that also can hook into the motherboard to monitor fan speed.

Great, comes with extension cables which are perfect! none at all uhm... if you got a large situation like the haf 932 like i do. it might be tricky for placement for optimal cable management HIDE DEM WIRES!

it has 6 channels, no other fan controller does that. the knobs don't stick out also far, the door closes on my lian-li Computer-A71b. a nice black aluminum that matches my lian-li perfectly. LEDS are a tiny on the bright side. the knobs feel janky if you give them a jiggle, but they hold up fine. fairly excellent item, im happy, NEWEGG ROCKS!

It's extremely aesthetically pleasing, it does it's job on the lower power fans, and it matches my Zalman FC-ZE1 pc case. It is not compatible with Zalman CPU coolers such as the CNPS 9700 NT that I personal, it can only handle 7 watts per channel, and the knobs are all sorts of flimsy feeling. Why would the similar business's fan controller not be compatible with it's own CPU cooler? Also, getting only 7 watts per channel limits you to really low power fans, which people that go as far as finding a fan controller probably will have quite handful of of, and more high powered fans than the typical computer system user. I haven't had any issues with the knobs, but nevertheless, a product at this price tag with the "Plus" branding of it's lower priced predecessor really should have some solid feeling knobs at least. Zalman, if you ever come across this evaluation, please incorporate an adapter or two for four pinned fans to 3 pinned fans.

Brief and sweet. Aluminum faceplate with decent controls, subdued LED's. Nicely completed. Had trouble getting LED fans to work with this, most likely due to wiring...situation fans on Antec 900 did not perform right after hookup, so left them hooked directly into იvdc lines. Typical 3 speed fans work fine, just no joy on LED-style fans.

Got this controller in and thought I'd place in a handful of of my thoughts.- Nice aluminum appear.- Controls 6 fans.- Black color matches my HAF 932.- Clears some of the wiring mess.- Operates as intended - Knobs wiggle a bit (not a large issue although)- Difficult fit in my five.25" drive bay (not toolless style friendly)- Blue LED doesn't work on mine (red functions even though) Looks very skilled with the way the color and aluminum style match my case. The knobs are a bit jiggly but aren't negative adequate for me to knock an egg down. Really, the greatest gripe is that it's incredibly unfriendly to toolless style situations. It didn't want to be held by my toolless 5.25" drive bay clips. I had to screw it in on the other side to get it to keep in place. LEDs not changing blue aren't a large deal to me considering that the lights are really little in size. General, a really good and elegant fan controller that does its job.

Superb item, will control up to 6 fans has the extensions for the wires quiets the fans down when I need it quiet. But cools things off when I require it as well. None

Excellent fan controller, its operates just as it should. No difficulties thus far. Leds alter from blue to red when you go from low to high speed. I was hoping that i could turn fans off completely with this, but they just slow down

Performs and looks nice. It did not precisely line up in my Cooler Master 690. I had to widen the distance in between the mounts. It will not specifically line up with every single case, so there will most likely want to be some little adjustments created to the mounts.

-Has the ability to control cpu fan along with regular fans.-Sleek brushed metal appear-Blue/Red LED lights (Blue low/off, Red on)-Appears attractive -The buttons are flimsy so i don't want to touch them-Can not turn off fans, only low setting (Blue LED)-Buttons stick out so the case cover cant close (Cosmos 1000 you can take the cover off so its ok for now)-Hard to mount the point Overall i consider its great, i don't want one thing that is too flashy or digital, This performs fine but the construction and work into this thing is not worth the dollars you spend. And just a note it only supports up to 9V i believe

Fantastic excellent, solid construction. The Brushed Aluminum front goes great with aluminum instances like my Silverstone TJ07. The knobs turn with good precision. Maximum quantity of fan controls i've noticed at 6. The plugs can be tough to attach if the unit is installed in the bay. I love the simplicity of this unit. No flashy display, maximum functionality. I have had two for over a year now and I am continuously adjusting them for gaming vs typical computing.Sunbeam DOES NOT make a greater controller.

Looks nice in my case and controls 6 fans. Everything operates. Requires fans to use the 3 prong mini plug. I ended up splicing the wires together as an alternative of obtaining adapters for them.

Switches are very great good quality.For a lesser featured motherboard that does not come with enough fan ports but you want to have additional, this fan control header is a good obtain. The electronics inside this header don't turn down my fans slow sufficient. The controller ought to turn the fan suitable off if turned to the extreme left but does not.The housing around the control knobs doesn't support them sufficient.The knobs are of mid to high good quality. A greater option than to get this fan controller would be to obtain a much more complete featured motherboard or a deluxe.

Worked fine to manage Cpu Fan, Video card fan and 2 case fans. The case 3 wire fans connected OK. The two wire Video card fan connected to supplied 3 pin plug without modification (Contollable, but no led or RPM indication). 4 wire Intel processor fan had to be modified to fit - I cut off one finish of supplied three pin connector to allow phisical connection. A three to four pin adapter really should be offered, as this is a normal Intel processor fan connection. The supplied screws did not fit the holes in the mounting bracket. I had to use a 6ቼ tap to get the holes usable. The fit looks OK. At least as fantastic as my two optical drives. I did not like the new DHL Intelligent shipping. The package can't be tracked as nicely as UPS and was not packaged practically as well.

This fan controller looks wonderful in my Antec 900 case. It matches actually well together. I like how the l.e.d.s adjust from blue to red at greater rpm's. Straightforward to install and hook up. ANTEC 900 owners - Just be conscious that this fan controller only accepts fans with the 3-pin connectors. I had to take all my fans out that came with the case and replace them with Antec Tri-Cool 3 pin connectors so I could use this fan controller to manage them from the outside. The extra perform was worth it, it seriously sucked getting to open the case to adjust fan speeds. Bad move on ANTEC.The construction seems to be pretty very good. I like that they applied heatsinks on the electronics, that should aid them last longer. Six channels is a excellent quantity too. I agree with most when it comes to saying that the knobs are flimsy. Not seriously a huge con but Zalman could have completed a far better job on this. It nonetheless operates excellent although, I haven't had any problems.I'm trusting that Zalman tends to make a good product trigger I have my CPU fan connected to the fan controller. It's good lead to I can virtually immediately drop the temp of the CPU if I have too but if this controller ever craps out on me I'll almost certainly have to get a new CPU as well. I have still yet to connect my 200mm fan at the top of the case to the fan controller although I'm not positive if the controller can handle a fan of that size. Really nice seeking controlling and came with all the wires to make the connections. The knobs are flimsy, and the fan controller does not fit right in with bays that use snap-in rails. It tends to roll up and down and I had to maintain adjusting it. This thing is also below-powered, as it would turn my fans from a medium speed to a little quicker speed. I could not turn my fans off or on full power with this controller. I RMA'd this controller and bought the 6-channel Sunbeam Rheobus controller, which I like a lot far better.

Slick looking.....matched my thermaltake armor ideal.....6 channels did not work with my six XIGMATEK XLF-F1253 120mm fans...only 7 watts per channel guess the xiggys are additional than 7 watts each.....
