I have a sentimental program that I did not want to replace, but was only capable to play WOW on Fair video settings. Now I have it set to good with the choice of raising it. No additional black screens or choppyness in significant cities. This is my initial ATI card and the drivers are really annoying to update. Wish nvidia would have came out with newer AGP cards. I like the HDMI, it's what I'm working with to conect to my mon.P4 3.6Ghztwo Gigs DDR ram |

Has worked nicely in a Windows 7 Specialist 32 bit atmosphere. EXCEPT (see beneath) 1) HDMI Cable had to be "cut" down on one side to match. Did that with Nippon Labs cable. 2) The OS sees the flat panel Television, but the Television shows"No Signal" Television operates fine with an additional pc that has integrated HDMI on the mboard. Attempted swapping cables. Similar outcome. Additionally same cable configuration performs with a DVD player and the other computers so certainly challenge.3) Somehow I seem to have a version with a 4 pin power connector... not a six pin. The mainboard this is on is an ASUS A8NV, socket 939 board running an AMD FX55 chip. It is best for what I'm attempting to do which is to run a presentation on a 26" flat panel. Pondering if I have conflict going with the Nvidia chipset on the motherboard with the ATI catalyst drivers. Yes - I've applied the Hotfix per ATI's guidelines and nonetheless the identical outcome.Thoughts welcome. |

Uninstalled the nVidia drivers, rebooted and then installed the CD drivers and it functions perfectly. None Compared with the EVGA 7800 GS it replaced there had been noticable improvements in gameplay for Crysis and Wolfenstein.Patience is required during the install, it takes a when. |

Practically nothing. Continuous freezing and rebooting after attempting to use numerous drivers from the manufacturer's web site, and from the chip-set manufacturer's website. A total waste of time! Save oneself the problems and the re-stocking fee by passing on this card! |

Superior than I anticipated for any agp card. Substantially far better than my old 512mb x1650. Windows 7 graphics overall performance indexes went up from 4.six to five.1 for graphics and up from 4.six to six.4 for gamingǙd graphics. I loaded up Burnout Paradise city for a test run and I was able to bump up all of the video settings all the way and nevertheless run the game smoothly. Installation was a breeze and the hdmi audio appears to be operating without a hitch.Dollars nicely spent. This really should hold my old VAIO up to speed for a handful of much more years.Dollars nicely spent. None so far. Old Sony VAIOP4 HT 3.0ghz 800mhz fsb2gb pc3200 ram |

Performs fantastic.I really feel like I have a new computer system now. driver concerns.I initially thought it was working but after a couple of days I kept acquiring a video driver failed warning from windows and the driver would restart then it would operate once again. It would do this 3-5 times a day. Also my quake live would not run, I kept obtaining disconnect symbol and it was unplayable. Study other thoughts, how I fixed it lastly. Right after a double handful of driver re installs and trying different drivers, this is what ultimately worked.First install the driver from the disk that came with the card. Next download the ATI hot repair driver. Immediately after you install it, it will create a folder where the driver is positioned.Subsequent open device manager and go to properties of the video card. Go to driver tab and click update driver. Use the browse my computer system! Do not search automatically! Choose the location of the HotFix folder and pick the the Radeon 4650 card and set up the driver like that. You must do it like this. I installed the hotfix driver commonly and it did not operate. It only worked finally soon after performing it this way. Now a week later and not 1 driver failure and my quake reside operates great. Hope this helps anyone with the exact same challenge I had. |

But, perhaps that is not accurate. Anyway, I just installed 'over the leading' of the AGP HOTFIX with the NEW Newest 10.7 DRIVERS listed. Hopefully now, it is Precisely clear what I have performed.I am NOT going to try to UNINSTALL each of the driver sets to try and figure out if the AGP HOTFIX wants to be installed prior to the Complete DRIVER install. |

I noticed some improvement over my Visiontek x1650 Pro AGP card but not a whole lot (probably due to my CPU bottlenecking it). Match well in my dimension 4600i and only took me about 20 minutes to install every little thing. I had some difficulties with installing the drivers but that was mainly my fault. The card I got was in fact DDR2 memory and not GDDR2 like they stated. It needed a 4-pin connector and not a six-pin connector like the specs stated. The ports on the back of the video card had been really VGA -> DVI -> HDMI. Doesn't seriously matter to me but it's different from what was listed here.Specs:CPU: Pentium 4 three.06Ghz HTRAM: 3GB DDR 333 (PC 2700)PSU: Corsair 400WIf you have a greater processor than the one I have then you'll most likely see a lot more improvement. |

Works for some men and women's rigs. My son lastly got the drivers to set up only to have conflict with his sound card. Hours of work and aggravation. Recognized concern. He tried all the suggested function arounds. He should have done much more study ahead of selecting this card. Revision to earlier assessment. Newegg came through to cover restocking. I hadn't checked my e-mail just before I posted review.Sorry about that. Adore you Newegg. |

Let me begin by saying that this issue has breathed new life into a HP desktop with on-board Intel Intense Graphics (have to laugh at that a single). Looks to be the highest level of AGP cards left. Installed with no issues except driver - read under. Not in a position to use existing drivers for some explanation. Stated that it had a 6 pin energy connector, so I ordered an adapter considering that only had 4 pin molex connectors on the power supply. Wouldn't you know it, it has the 4 pin molex connector on it. So ordered the adapter for nothing at all. Some had mentioned that it was noisier then they would like, this one particular seems to be really very, and when you put the cover back on the case can not hear it at all. |

This is a fantastic graphics card for a older laptop thats restricted to AGP graphics. It worked good with quite a few games, the only difficulty is its size for some old machines may possibly be a tight match, and also some games dont look to like it (like Medieval 2 total war) but it may well be my laptop. Tight fit in some older computer systems. Some games dont look to like this graphics card (like Medieval 2 total war) but it may well be my computer since it was meant for windows vista and downgraded to Xp and a low finish ecs motherboard. |

Update from my earlier critique Driver concerns...see other thoughts. So far only integrated CD drivers perform. I said just before I had no difficulty installing onto XP SP3 with the drivers integrated on the CD. I attempted to set up updated 11.three drivers and have experienced quite a few of the same troubles other individuals have talked about. Driver Sweeper is required when points get messed up. Don't know if I will get hotfix to perform, but at least included drivers do function (for my method, at least.) |

Great acquire for the money, and keeps my old AGP machine kicking. Videos are flawless, like some 1080p files. Games (WoW, Fable, UT, DA) play outstanding, not maxxed, but perfect play and image. Glitched out the wahzoo. Seems that some cards will cause phantom CPU cycles that ate up my processor energy ࿒-60% at idle) due to a hardware situation with the HDMI audio. Sucks since I use that to connect to my Tv. Fixed, but no HDMI audio. All round a great card, but the glitch just doesnt do it for me. the 3650 i had tried initially didnt do that, and I'm not going to RMA; just get a longer audio cable I guess. Good for my HTPC - AMD 3800+x2, 2GB RAM, WinXP, ridiculous quantity of HD space. |

Effortlessly installed, Quick improvement in boot speed, game overall performance. Will maintain a AGP MB performing for a great when. Vista and 7 compliant. AGP bottlenecks somewhat, but if you still have an AGP MB, your not running Crysis anyway, who cares. |

Massive pretty box huge fairly device. Obviously considering that I didn't search to the depths of the core of the Earth (H-E-double hockey sticks) for conflicts of particular devices, hp/compaq ain't liken this card. If you use it as a regular VGA device it performs fine, set up the driver to make it the undesirable mamm'a jamm'a it's supposed to be and it won't reboot. Had to commence in secure mode and uninstall the device. I got booted back up and am waiting for Microsoft to send out an update (Vista has some conflicts with it too) and am also waiting to speak with the Gigabyte persons. Hopefuuly I can repost a YAY! for this device later. For the most element I'm just seeking for a moderately costs video card that will improve Vista's graphics capabilities and at least give me a fantastic rating on pc overall performance. I thought this item produced all of those promises... We shall see. |

Low fan noise. Well built. Higher value compared with PCIe. System would not let me enter my correct date of buy for rebate. Seriously no excuse for not swapping out a motherboard with these days's low costs unless proprietary. |

So far, only a minor issue acquiring the driver functioning correctly, had a crash or two, but every thing appears to be running fine now. Crashes left me a little on edge... believed about shipping it back, but my tech buddy got it up and running once more in no time. Haven't had a crash considering the fact that. This is generally the highest quality graphics card I could acquire for my AGP slotted motherboard... I hated possessing to wait for my tech buddy to get it fixed, but when he got it back to me it was, and nonetheless is operating like a charm... if you acquire this ATI card, you might want to count on to operate to tweak it out a bit... otherwise, try to obtain something else or upgrade from AGP to PCI. |

Tremendous increase in gaming, which is what I purchased it for. I can't believe the distinction. The only game I play was operating rather slow, even with all the graphics goodies disabled. Now I have everything maxed out, and it runs like a dream! None so far. I did have a hiccup when I installed it. The pc would run quite gradually, it wouldn't load the drivers from the CD, and then the complete issue would lock up.I reinstalled my old 256 card, then went to ATI's homepage and downloaded the newest drivers. Immediately after installing them I place the new card back in, and every little thing performs like a charm. Practically nothing else certainly, than that I got it more affordable as an "Open Box" deal, and so was a little worried at first. The worries have been groundless. Thanks ATI, and thanks NewEgg! |

Undoubtedly a big upgrade from my earlier video card. This certainly brought my old machine back to life for a small longer. I cannot discover the drivers for Windows 7 32-bit and Windows does not recognize this card. I can\'t run video games to anyplace close to their full prospective and I am very disappointed. I have attempted to hotfix as properly to no avail. Would somebody please be in a position to point me in the appropriate direction? |

Have older program (dimension 8300 w/ xp, 305w psu). Saving up for new gaming rig and waiting to see newer chipsets so I replaced old Geforce 7600gs AGP with this card. Play a lot of iracing and now my settings are very high though nevertheless maintaining fps about 70-100range. (used to be as low as doable with 50fps) Drivers :( I read a million posts from many sites just before getting the card and the hotfix was not functioning for me. Spent most of the night on it, even with older versions of hotfix. If you have XP and are obtaining concerns with hotfix, just use drivers on cd for it to function, I could try to install hotfix again later if i'm bored, but it works so :) |

Fastest AGP card offered. Frustrating compatibility, GART difficulties, Vista concerns, not comparable to PCI-E cards around same cost. Catalyst AGP hotfix drivers resolved most troubles with this card.
