My only complaint is that it doesn't come with the protective soft case like my older PHR-250CC did. I like it.

If you're like me, a USB two interface is a nice fallback-- but I run this drive on my FW400 interface to leave bandwidth for my USB 2 devices. Only FW 400, 1394A, 4 pin connected. The macbook 13" has the FW800, 1394B, which will demand a 4-ɵ pin adapter cable, but nonetheless use FW400 speeds.
