EXCELLENT
Comment:
Bought this as part of a barebones kit, and I'm thoroughly impressed. I used thermal paste on it for a brand new build, and I haven't experienced any hiccups. Definitely recommended!

Good speed and quality for very little cash
Comment:
Like the previous reviewer, I used this in my ASUS M4A785-M AMD 785G Socket AM3 Motherboard. The response and speed is incredible! I haven't maxed it out even when running dedicated server applications and games.

Great Cheap CPU
Comment:
Cheap CPU, great performance. The lack of a L3 cache doesn't hold it back.

good deal
Comment:
Great CPU but my AVCHD editing program eats up a lot of its power. When I render and edit video the CPU usage goes up to 70% 80% 90% around there sometimes even 100% But of course HD editing is a CPU eater.

Put this CPU in a MSI 790FX GD70 and got a Stable 3.25GHz. on stock voltage. Completely stable after a 24hr stability test with OverDrive. With my specs and my new Processor i can play Crysis Warhead at over 40FPS on Gamer Settings on DX10.

Seems to have to work too hard to run applications
Comment:
I am using 2 gigs of ram, a Nvidia Geforce 7025 gpu, and this cpu, which isn't amazing, but it's not bad, however when I run applications like Windows Media player it will be pushing around 20% cpu usage which seems like too much.

Good, Cheap Quad
Comment:
Good Processor for the price. Replaced a 6000 X2 3.0 with this. Seems about the same performance with this quad running at 2.6. Overall happy with it though.

You Will Want This
Comment:
Buy this quad and your life will be magnificent! (taken from an old mb manual) Without oc I get 7.1 on Win7. I love my Phenom, but this will do for most situations even with high loads. How does Int-el compare? - I've scrapped all my Int-el machines except one which I loan out.

AMD Athlon II X4 620 2.6GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:Stock Cooler Not Very High Quality

Pros:Incredible ValueFastEfficient
Comment:
This chip is an amazing value. Put this into a budget build and was blown away by the performance for so little cash. I built a Phenom II last spring and this thing isn't far behind it performance wise. Only thing that shows it's budget nature is the really cheap fan on the included heatsink. Everything else is top notch. Now that Intel has been caught messing with their compiler I think you'll see AMD chips catching up again. I couldn't be happier with this little quad.

a light OC to 3ghz at stock voltages and stock cooler, going to get a aftermarket cooler to OC even more. $105, quad core, OC's like a monster. what more do you need?

Insane Performance for $99
Comment:
I'm running this on an Asus M4N79 Pro and I score a 7.2 on Windows 7 Ultimate! I have 8GB Kingston HyperX 1066MHz DDR2 (At 800MHz - 4 sticks) and other mid-grade components, and it blows away my old Q6700 on an Asus Maximus Formula SE board with similar hardware!
