Great entry-level quad core
Comment:
Great product. I could only OC to 3.1 Ghz but its not that big of a deal. Its a great product, its only problem is lack of L3 Cache but if you don't want to spend 300 dollars on a processor its a prefect choice

Great CPU for multi-tasking, media conversion
Comment:
They priced this thing almost perfectly, for what it is. If you need a quad-core CPU, and you don't want to spend a lot of money, this one is for you. On the other hand, if you don't think you are going to be doing a lot of heavy-duty multi-tasking, I would go for a faster clocked dual or tri-core CPU. It's going to

AMD Athlon II X4 620 2.6GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:- None so far

Pros:- Cheapest quad core- Cool'n quiet works great
Comment:
Bought this for a budget build and this is really a good bargain, quad core speed for only a little more than 100$. Cool'n quiet really works great, lowering it at 800MHz and is still responsive. It stays cool at 33°C at idle but I didn't tried with load since it's not my PC.

AMD Athlon II X4 620 2.6GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:no l3 cache

Pros:super fast for the price
Comment:
if you're not using this for a gaming rig, the lack of the l3 cache won't matter much. runs on par with my other intel q6600 cpu, for half the price

Surprised
Comment:
I used to be an AMD fanatic then gave up on them for a while, got tired of the overheating issues, got this as part of a mobo&CPU kit and was pleasantly surprised, runs relatively cool under heavy load and smoking fast

Very Good Deal
Comment:
The bang for the buck on this processor is outstanding. I mated this with an old 8800 GTS video card and it runs the latest games way better than I expected. As far as I'm concerned, the pricey i5-i7's can wait another year:-)

AMD Athlon II X4 620 2.6GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:None, especially since this one is an AACYC version.

Pros:Quad core, 6 mb L3 cache, 3.2 ghz overclocked
Comment:
I bought this processor as part of a bundle with the ASUS M4A79XTD-Evo mb. The processor is an AACYC AC 0937 version. After I update d the MB BIOS to 0605, I unlocked the L3 cache. I can overclock the CPU to 3.2 ghz. I only had to up the DDR3 voltage on my G. Skill Ripjaws. This processer is a very good deal for a budget gaming computer. Quad core, 6 mb L3 cache and 3.2 ghz.Sadly, some newer versions of this processor (AADAC) can't get the L3 cache unlocked because there is nothing to unlock. Maybe NCIX got their stock from the older AACYC batch.update  to my Nov 04 review: I was able to overclock the FSB to 269 and running stable by reducing the DRAM multiplier. CPU now running at 3.5 ghz (13X) at 51C under full 12 hr load. I don't have patience to try to overclock higher. This review was modfied by poster @ 11-10-09 12:39 PM

AMD Athlon II X4 620 2.6GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Processor
Cons:Lack of L3 cache(but so far i'm not sure if it matters)No Black Edition

Pros:Phenom II ArchitectureAt par with Core 2 Quad 8200Price
Comment:
This cpu is great quad core. It can pretty much keep up with a lot of cpus out of its price range. The lack of a L3 cache is not significant. There are a lot of peoiple who unlocked the L3 only to see that the performance is really not that different. I think what they should do is come out with an athlon II with no l3 cache but with a pci-E controller instead, that would be sick.

BEST 100 dollars DEAL!!!
Comment:
It's very little price difference compare to Athlon II X2 or Phenom II X2... but out-put just amazing! Also you can use mobo with DDR3 no need on $$$bulky i5-i7 Vista scores this CPU 5.9 without any overclocing. For example my Intel Core 2quad 2.33GHz scores 5.4 but I payed much more almost $180 and it's DDR2 only

Stable Runner
Comment:
Great little cpu for mid-range computing. With no L3 cache it wont be a high end gaming cpu, but it's a good middle of the line performer for the price. Been running stable and cool for a few months now and I have complaints.

Very good deal
Comment:
Okay, it has no L3 cache but the price-performance ratio of this chip is unbelieveable. Unless you have an awesome gaming rig this is not going to be the bottleneck in your system. Period.

No regrets
Comment:
I can't speak for performance except to say that I find it light years faster than my old Athlon X2 dual core. It rips through GTA4 even with a mid-range video card, and handles everything I throw at it with ease. I highly recommend this CPU for any value minded customer who isn't put off by AMD.
