Lots of features.Uncomplicated unlocking.Appears sweet.Leonidas likes it. Says the board supports 16GB of RAM. There aren't any sticks that assistance this board according to the list of suggested RAM. Not honestly a con as I doubt I require 16GB anyways. Just wanted 8GB with the selection to upgrade later to 16GB by adding alot more. My initially construct and glad I went with this trustworthy board! 7 sata ports is a great thing. lots of upgradeability on the board. supports up to 16gb of ddr3 1800. one sata is for major boot device on the marvel chipset. looses one particular egg since of bios and onboard sound drivers. only one particular 16gb pci-e other one is a 8gb pci-e so if you have 2 graphics card they will be each at 8gbs. wish the board was black instead of brown. good board but looses an egg for bad bios and drivers is primary reason.

Bought on 12ቭ񳏊, Newegg got it to me by 12ቱ񳏊. Product is still functioning robust, nothing at all to complain about however. This isn't genuinely a con, but much better taken with a grain of salt. My rebate for the motherboard was received by Asus on 01ቝ񳏋, and I received the card for the rebate on Monday ྣቪ񳏋). Commonly if you fill out all of the vital types and follow the rebate directions "to the T", you'll get the rebate. It could take about three months from the time you purchased the item to get the rebate although.

I had a friend that has the identical motherboard and suggested it to me. There is many ports in the back with most becoming USB ports for easy plug in with old ps2 ports for older mice or keyboards. North and south bridge for heat expansion operate fantastic haven't had any problems with heat. None None

Rapid Set up, Potential to Unlock Cores, Straightforward OverClock OnBoard sound produces a lot of static when working with a headset w/ mic. OnBoard LAN port died only after getting the board for a year. Had to buy a add-on LAN card. Due to these two cons, I removed 1 egg.

NONE The board was DOA on arrival. Cant get a worse con then that. I should have learned but i wanted to stick with the firm i have utilized for years. It appears ASUS has gone downhill. This was the 3rd ASUS board i have purchased not too long ago and the 3rd to be RMA'ed due to problems ideal out Box. Just bought MSI 890FXA-GD70 and i enjoy it. MSI is my new firm now.

Looks neat, Extremely surdy - Low cost, AM3, Dual PCI-E, And still has an IDE plug. Received product, had selected a supported CPU, but the model i was sent was on a Truly old bios Rev, 1 that didn't support my CPU, so i have no way of flashing it due to the fact my other CPU is only an AM2 processor, and will not operate in the board. Gigabyte support has hung up on me 3 occasions, (twice were when they had been about to close) so i was unable to get this problem resolved. I'm going to appear into finding another MoBo from MSI and refunding this item from newegg, Meanwhile at least the AM3 processor i purchased will work in my current MoBo

Extremely good finish and fashionable. I was not expecting such a nice board for the price tag. A lot of PCI/e slots, SATA, and so on. None. I was on the fence about buying a "cheaper" board, but this turned out to be 1 of the nicest boards I've ever owned. I Very advocate it.Functions good with AMD Phenom II X6 1090T !!

Loads of USB and SATA ports, on-board ESATA, and so on. Loads of bells and whistles! Immediately after a couple of months, I began to have one particular or two BSOD crashes a day. No rhyme or purpose to them taking place. Did the usual: tested memory, swapped it out, swapped out video card, removed all PCI cards, and so on. but absolutely nothing corrected the problem. Ultimately, just yesterday, I get a BSOD that in fact references the AMD northbridge in the event log. Swapped the board out with a affordable Biostar board I had laying about and it's been running fine because last night. Now to start the RMA method! I've applied Asus boards back in the Socket A days and they've usually lasted years. I thought that paying a little further for a board that was so highly rated would make sure smooth sailing but alas, here I am.I'm hopeful mine was just a dud of a batch and my replacement will be what I was searching for!

ASUSGood Price There is a slightly newer mobo that supports 6gb/s sata and usb3. ... as I recall, it's not substantially much more costly than this one particular, or even comparably priced. Had I noticed it, I'd have gone with that 1. No onboard video. I despise onboard video and didn't want it, but if you need it, or for whatever purpose want it, beware.this comes with four , IIRC, SATA cables

Straight from the box , the board performs excellent.BIOS is a breeze. No crossfire connector. Cant take a egg for that because it doesn't say it comes with one particular. This is my third build utilizing these boards. As extended as you read the description, this board does precisely what it says it does.

High build top quality, wide open BIOS(as in you have control more than just about just about every bit of your hardware). Effectively thought layout. Has ACC so you can unlock disabled cores on particular CPU's. Stable and stable :) None that I am conscious of. It's always a good notion to verify QVL's to make positive all your other hardware will operate fine with your mobo. Remember, the mobo is really the base of your machine,if its not stable then what's the point?Employing this board with a stable and unlocked AMD PII x2 BE 555 (Quad Core as I unlocked it) and 4GB's of G.Ability DDR3 and a HD 5770 and can't ask for much more.Dirt2 is butter smooth and even the crysis2 MP demo plays supper smooth at 1050x1680 for me thats all I require!

I had to settle on this board cus the ASUS 980 SLI chipset board kept going out of stock befor I could get it...upset I cant go Nvidia on my SLI gaming rig, but I new it wasnt an SLI board when I got it after making use of it for a few months now I enjoy this board, may well give the Nvidia card to the wife and go ATI on it to get my perferd GPU output going on:P

- CrossfireX Capable / 4 RAM Slots.- Great for Overclocking.- Fits comfortably in my situation.- Reasonably priced.- Fashionable, to say the least. Hadn't bought it in the initial spot. D; Upgraded my motherboard for the CPU wattage, because the AMD Phenom II x4 970 Black Edition needs 125W as an alternative of 95W (which I discovered out a bit as well late, ought to have figured xD), and along with the excellent processor compatibility, I can now use two graphics cards and get up to 16GB of RAM rather than 8GB.This is my initially construct (technically, I bought a entry-level custom and sort of just upgraded it myself), and I have to say, I surely made the ideal selection. If you're thinking about getting it, take it from me, you won't be sorry. Thanks Newegg!

Great layoutLoaded with features none I like to develop my own, personal, pc's. I DO NOT like to tinker with the Bios. I want the pc to run correctly when I turn it on. This board does that. Windows 7 pro, 64 and eight gig of GSkill 1600 DDR3. Headache cost-free build.

Basic setup, lots of excellent capabilities, stable from the word GO. The BIOS is complete featured and extremely user friendly. That is if you go on the net. The layout is clean and things look to run extremely cool. The manual is extremely blunt and does not go into detail as far as BIOS settings go. The BIOS itself is also type of sketchy about what settings impact what. The on board sound appears to be causing some random in game lockups. I have ordered a new card considering that the board would not identify any of my old ones. All in all a excellent board for a great price tag! Many, several BIOS selections for tweaking and a great layout! Newegg does it once again!
