Purchased this for a cheaper residence pc for my parents. I put an I3 550 in it using the onboard graphics. and the Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600 4Gb memory. It fired right up. It had the most up-to-date BIOS in it. (one that was not even listed on ASUS internet site but.) Had an insert in manual that talked about the PCI X16 slot disabling with the Clarkdale chips, but I was able to put RAID card in the slot and get 5.0Gbs rate. It has a four pin output for situation fan. It is fantastic for the cost. Does not have RAID. You do require to investigation the limitations on this board with your processor and the PCI slots. And the limits about memory ect. If you are building a low to mid cost system this is great.
