ASUS P7H55-M PRO Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:BIOS MUST be flashed to use AHCI/Hot Swap which is a pain if you do not have a system running to download the new BIOS.No ESATA however in AHCI you can use a PCI-eSATA bracket.Only some capacitors are solid, many are cheaper...but the important ones that get hot are solid.
Pros:Quite good for price.Onboard video *with applicable CPU*Runs cool. Comment:
Overall this is a good board once you flash the bios to fix the SATA configuration glitch. It flashed easily VIA USB drive with the flash utility in the bios. If it was not for the lack of eSATA over the model up, I would have bought another for a budget system. If eSATA is not important, than this is a great board.*note* in order to use the onboard video, you must have a Clarkdale processor as the i7 8xx and the i5 7xx series does not have video capabilities. This is the same with all H55/57 boards. This review was modfied by poster @ 02-09-10 11:27 PM |
