This factor is fantastic, I beat it up each and every minute I get and it just keeps asking for far more. None. Was a small apprehensive bout how close the PCIE sockets were when running SLI, nevertheless I haven't had 1 issue but.

Comment:
It arrived nicely, no bend pins in socket as various reviewers had. It worked for me, at least for present stage.i7-950 (no OC)SabertoothG-skill DDR3 1600 12G ƒ sets of 6G)GTX 570 (it is not 580, but still extremely massive and long, actually to my surprise, I used 8800GTX for 4 years and never believe the 570 is even bigger than 8800GTX)WD black 640GAntec 650WRosewill Challenger (big mistake, it is too modest for GTX570) I got this board with a comb (赧.99 for the MB). It is an ASUS product, but not as great as just before (they employed to be the finest till 2006, immediately after that....). I am quite disappointed with the style of this board. 1) The two PCIE-16 slots are too close, so I have to forget SLI of my 570 (I have to return my one more 570 and the new 850W PS). The design I believe only OK for SLI of 550 and for 560Ti, hopefully someone could let me know as my buddy desires SLI of 560Ti. 2) The stupid layout of all SATA ports. Despite the fact that most of nowadays's MB use the horizontal alignment, ASUS need to know the difficulty of plugging the cables, specially in a fairly smaller instances and beneath larger video cards, and modify the layout to vertical. 3) It is accurate that the BIOS has lots of attributes, but I am a small confused at the beginning of setting up my memory to 1600 mode(my GSkill works at 1.5V for 1600). Overall, it is a OK MB and it has some functions that I do like. But for a potential to SLI or Crossfire any significant video card, greater try other models.

I always hear good things about ASUS. I like the features and the looks of the board. It has everything I want without being as expensive as some of the other motherboards for the 1366 socket Works great with my I7960 CPU and Cosair XMS3 Ram. Really like the layout as well fits my Zalman CNPS9900A CPU cooler easy without being in the way. Which is great due to the fact the cooler is quit large.

ASUS Sabertooth X58 ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons: - I would've liked onboard power/reset/CMOS buttons for PC tweaking - Northbridge temperatures are rather high (still stable though) - Debatable whether or not to go with 1155 or stick with 1366

Pros: - Excellent build quality - Military grade components - Awesome military-style look - Awesome features for X58 - Very affordable 1366 board - Nice features such as USB 3.0 and SATA 6.0Gbps - 5 year warranty
Comment:
I have always bought Asus products for their build quality and their features, and they have gone a step further with this board. Not only do you get military grade components backed up by a 5-year warranty, you also get an awesome look for your system build (recommend Noctua coolers). Back when this first came out, it had nice features which weren't on a lot of boards including USB 3.0 and SATA 6.0Gbps. I'm very happy with the board. Very stable overclocks. I would have liked to have power/reset buttons, but I don't do any major tweaks to my BIOS so it isn't that much of a drawback. Very solid motherboard.

Cons: Backwards compatibility

Pros: Solid build quality
Comment:
Bought this on boxing day to go with my i7 and 12GB ram purchase. Has been rock solid. Only complaint is related to backwards compatibility, which is not really an issue anymore. This board only has SATA connectors and 1 PCI slot (which gets blocked instantly by Video card)

I like this board a lot. Asus usually makes a great product, and this was no exception. They built this thing to last, with its military grade components. The board fits well in my custom build, and awesome how there are a few 6bg SATA ports as well.

ASUS Sabertooth X58 ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons: - just make sure your aftermarket cooler is compatible with the RAM sticks positions.

Pros: - probably one of the sexiest motherboard I ever possessed- tons of features
Comment:
Bought this for my new system, is this thing is the sexiest thing on the planet? Other than the look, it have most of the interesting features for the computer builders, for either the audiophiles, movies fans and of course computer enthusiasts. The rear connectors are the most complete inputs I ever sean, 7.1 setup, USB3, eSata, HDMI... Inside, 2 SATA3 connectors for these new 6gb transfer SSD drives. It almost futureproof. And it offer SLI and Xfire on the same board! Been running on it for a month, not a single crash and BSOD related to it, rock solid. There's a bunch of OC features, so I don't think it lacking in the area, I haven't have time to try any OCing but with my experience with Asus, I don't think it will ever be a problem. With all these I thought buying a 300-400$ motherboard but I think at around 200$ it just the best affordable motherboard ever made. Nothing negative I have to say about this board except really minor annoyance when mounting the aftermarket cooler which the RAM sticks were on the way but I found a way around. I defenitely recommend it for any system builder with i7 cpus.

ASUS Sabertooth X58 ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons: * No CMOS reset button.* Realtek network controller only does about 700 Mbps vs and Intel solutions that are 30% faster.

Pros: * Value - Sabertooth is one of the cheapest X58 boards.* 2 X SATA Rev 3 ports to take advantage of fast SSDs.* 2 X USB 3.0 ports.* 6 fan headers.* Power eSATA.* 5 Year Manufacturers Warranty.* Solid OC capability.
Comment:
Currently the top choice for the mature X58 platform (by sales volume), the Sabertooth provides an outstanding value without compromising much in the way of functionality. Little effort was required to OC an Intel i7 950 to 3.83GHz, some dedication should see 4GHz+. Time will tell if the durability advertised as the Sabertooth's claim to fame is a reality but it's hard to knock the 5 Year warranty.

ASUS Sabertooth X58 ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons: None

Pros: Great ValueGood qualityEasy building
Comment:
Excellent value. This is comparable with the more expensive X58 motherboards for a better price. Includes the newest features like SATA3 and USB 3.0, and just cuts the unnecessary features like back panel CMOS reset, and assorted overclocking utilities. Anything you want to do can still be done through the Bios though, or through the included Intel Extreme Tuning Utility(To use it's autotune, in the bios select  "prioritize 3rd party OC utilities"). If you are worried about the "sup-par" network controller, know that it will only lower your speeds from 900 mbps to 700 mbps on Local Area Network(LAN) transfers between computers on your Gigabit(1000 mbps) LAN that are also capable of operating at the faster speeds. All in all, doesn't seem like much of an issue unless in very specific situations.

Comment:
This board is built to last srsly it's military grade. This board will compete to the more expensive x58 boards. I managed to oc my i7 950 to 4.2ghz (daily oc) with a aftermarket CPU cooler. Temps on the CPU get to 77c max. And the chipset stays cool. This board is very nice and looks sick in my case.

Cons: Northbridge temps are fine, not the greatest, it gets quite hot actually(max i seen it go is mid 60C)PCI slot is useless, gets covered by gpu.

Pros: Low profile color scheme, no bright blues or greens, nice and sleek, high grade materials. CeraMIX adds a nice touch to the mobo not found in any other boards, very nice! The 5 year warranty, who has that on their motherboard?!X16/X16 sli is also great for the price
Comment:
This is the best board for this price for an x58 system. If you don't plan on doing extensive overclocking (you can still overclock) this board may not be for you, but for a budget high end x58 system this is the best there is.

I just bought this board a couple of weeks ago and have been loving it ever since. Some people say they don't like the colour scheme, but to me it really doesn't matter since its just being put inside a case anyway. This board has been solid since I installed it. Running an i7 920 with 6gb of 1600MHz Ripjaws. For the price, I haven't found anything that can beat it.

Cons: Had some trouble getting my printer to work, for some reason it works best on the USB 3 connection.

Pros: Very stable, seems well built, very good price for what you get, is overclockable
Comment:
Started out with a Gigabye board but switched my i7 950 system build to this board because I have had such good luck with Asus boards in the past. This board seems to be working very well. I had some trouble getting my Canon mx330 to work with this new system....my first system with windows 7 64bit. I thought it was a driver issue but moving the printer to the usb 3 connection solved the print stalling issue. I also downloaded and installed all the newest bios and drivers from the Asus site. This seems to be the best bet for a budget 1366 board.
