- Power efficient- 650w at 70 bucks- 80 plus rating - Ugly grey color- Generally no directions or documentation- Not modular This PSU lives up to its specs and is one of the most trustworthy in its class, but the lack of modular cables and no documentation causes it to lose a rating.

-Stable Power-Silent 120mm fan-Two 8-pin power connectors-Energy Effective-Mail in rebate worked. Took around 4 months although.-Inexpensive price-A lot of connectors -A lot of connectors. If your in a modest case this may possibly cause a challenge.-Not modular-Pretty ugly... really simple color with an ugly purple/pink sticker-Questionable life expectancy. Died in only five months. -I gave it 4Ǜ mainly because it died in only 5 months.-I had to pay shipping to antec. -I had to put my old psu in and get rid of my graphics card, which was a pain in the tuckus.-Defective psu's from this corporation are rare, so don't let this review make you rethink your selection. It is a extremely excellent psu for the price tag.

It has been powering my GTX 460 and the rest of my system for a though and I've by no means had any issues with it. It's grey... I bought this on Black Friday and I got a ฮ rebate (which I received today) so I only paid ฽ for it.

Pros:Cheap, lots of watts, durable, environment friendly, every cable you need...

I bought this power supply almost 2 years ago to replace a very disappointing 700 watts power supply which I won't name (not from Antec) and which has broken twice within a few months. I had bought some other Antec power supplies way before for some other builds and they were still working to that day, so I decided to go ahead and buy an Antec one again, hoping it would last just as long as they others. So far, it's been almost 2 years and it's still working wonderfully! I personally only use a dual core CPU and a GTX 560 ti video card, so these 650W are plenty enough for me.

Lots of connecters! You can hook up every thing you have and what you will ever get in the future. Nice to have the massive fan and it is quiet. Took me about 30 minutes to put into my Dell XPS 410 and it was a perfect fit. Running a MSI N460GTX Hawk with no difficulties. None. Wonder why I did not do this prior to. It could not have been any less complicated to modify out.

Got this for my new residence server create. Powering all of my stuff with no problems that I can tell of however. Nice & quiet. I'm a lifelong Antec fanboy. In no way had any issues with their fans, energy supplies, or cases (except for 1 case a year ago that sliced my thumb open, but that was my fault for carelessness). Classic ugly metal color. Not modular. I think next time I'll pay a few bucks a lot more for a modular supply just to preserve the case a small bit cleaner looking & easier to manhandle. Low cost, dependable. A lot of peripheral connectors. If you are going to run multi cards or overclock, actually don't get this. Even if both cards only take a single 6 pin connector, this powersupply merely cannot power dual cards. It works fine.If all you run is a couple of challenging drives, a dual/quad and a single card, this will work fine. If you strategy on multi cards and overclocking, this PSU just does not have the power.

Been a solid power supply and quite rather. Can't hear my pc when it's on. I bought one more for one more built I did. My case has the power supply on the bottom and the four pin cpu power was a tad short to plug in. I though it may be an concern so ordered some extenders and have had no concerns. Still a great energy supply. Solid PS for a fair price. Funds well spent and Newegg rocks like constantly.

Quiet, reliable for about 7 months now and powers my 470, i7-930, 6GB, 2x SSD, 1x HDD with no concerns. UGLY GREY!, not modular and an ugly purple antec sticker on the side YUCK! Most PSU don't have four-8 pin connecters long enough to stretch behind the pc case to the MOBO (if your PSU is mounted on the bottom), this is a different 1. I wish PSU companys incorporate extension cables but they don't.

Just replaced a stock PSU in my pc with this and the weight distinction was startling, much better excellent than what my computer came with. 650w is plenty of juice for whatever your heart can dream up as effectively with crossfire-ing. Borderline dead silent, and more cords than you'll know what to do with. Not all of the cords are sleeved, but that's just being picky at this point. Other men and women have also pointed out the bland gray that this is, which isn't very high on my priority list of complaints. packaged fairly well inside the box, with an additional wrap to maintain it snug inside its styrofoam corner holders, i believed that was a good touch.
