Uncomplicated to use, ArcticSilver web site has incredibly good clear instructions (different procedures for distinct CPU's).CPU operating very cool and constant.Ooh shiny! I'll almost certainly loose the remaining 95% of the tube just before I will need it again. Tought about jsut grabbing some generic paste from function for free of charge... Glad I spent the seven bucks!

Goes nicely with creme fraiche. The cat doesn't appear to want to eat leftovers when I use it. Not actually a con, considering that I overfeed the cat anyway. Could be less complicated to smear on toast.

Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound
Cons:None so farOn the slightly thick side (not that much of a con)

Pros:Effective cooling performance
Comment:
I have not had this thermal paste for very long, but I was pleased with the application process. The paste is a bit thick, but once its in place, that is not really an issue. The thickness is to be expected with a high density thermal compound, so it is an inherent con. Compared to "stock" thermal compound, this is a much better performing paste. I would recommend it to anyone who needs new paste.

Cons:none

Pros:cheap and it's the best
Comment:
This is by far the best for buck thermal paste. I had to redo the paste on some friend cpu. The guy that did it before me had put way too much paste. the CPU (AMD 3200+) was running at 70c in burn. Now that I have redo the paste, it idle at 29 and burn at 40.

I like the syringe it comes with, tends to make it actually simple to touch up the tiny spots you miss when spreading this stuff on. Seems to operate truly nicely, with my ZALMAN CNPS8000A 92mm, I am keeping my CPU about 30C cooler (under stress) than my stock fan was. Pretty huge difference! The way it was packaged. It is such a tiny piece that I didn't notice it at the bottom of a shipping envelope that I also had some ram in. Luckily, I didn't throw it away accidentally. Not going to take any eggs off for that, just warning any would-be purchasers to be a tiny a lot more scrupulous when going by way of their stuff. General, extremely happy with this product. I am glad that I made the switch to aftermarket CPU cooling! And with a thermal compound like this, the transition is much smoother.

keeps items Frosty! none. just like Frank's hot sauce. i place this stuff on anything. i've utilized it for the apparent cpu applications, but i've also rebuilt GPU heatsinks and temps have dropped about five-8 degrees C. i know a guy who put it on the heads of his motorcycle and a alcohol burning model truck to maintain the engine cooler as effectively.

Wonderful conductivity, transfers heat better than any other paste ive utilised. I use a Arctic Freezer Pro 7, my fan is operating minimum rpms mainly because this paste is so fantastic, and with this paste, my cpu tem is 25C on startup, and does not rise above 26C. When i was just employing silicone paste, my tems had been 60-80c. Arctic Silver is Excellent FOR OVERCLOCKERS! This'll preserve your processor cool when over clockin' I use a Intel 2.8Ghz Dual Cored Processor. I haven't over clocked it yet but i will tonight. My specs are in the "Other thoughts Section" Kinda annoying to get off, but i just hold the processor in my hand and use toliet paper and water. Takes a few minutes but not terrible. A bit high priced for a ity bity tube. But, u get what u pay for. Fantastic item. it comes of your hands largely straightforward. Keeps my overclocked 2600K around 30° C on idle, and the most it ever goes up to is 50° C beneath hefty load. (Using the Cooler Master V8) Make certain you know how to apply thermal paste before using it! You don't want this stuff getting on the retention bracket/mobo. Bought Arctic Silver about three times now, always functions really nicely.

I have purchased dozens of this and I will buy nothing else ever, keeps CPU or GPUs temps as decrease than no other. Just want they would sell it in 20 gallon tub sizes. The tiny dinky tubes may possibly do many CPUs but it just never seems to final. This is the ultimate in thermal Compounds, have completed individual tests an absolutely nothing has beat Arctic Silver five however an may possibly in no way be beaten.

Operates considerably far better than stock thermal compounds, lowers temps 10+ degrees. Find myself operating out faster than I would like. Taken to storing the tiny tube in a giant plastic bag so I don't lose it as frequently!

My temps began hovering about 56-60c. I was not pleased. I applied this stuff, sprayed some dust out, and now they are hovering about 45c. I'd imagine this will enhance as the paste begins to burn in. It tastes AWFUL. I retain my Pc as dust free of charge as possible. It was upsetting seeing my temps rise. Now I am no longer upset.

Dropped the temperature on my Q6600 by 12°C 鲤% load) employing the identical retail heatsinkf/fan that came in the retail box. This chip is at three.2GHz and runs 24ǝ crunching SETI to test stability.I also use it on my Phenom 1090T and that runs all six cores at 4.0GHz 鲤% load)-- also running SETI 24ǝ for stability testing. If you aren't cautious, you can squeeze the plunger too tricky and make a bit of a mess. Apply a Quite thin layer to your HSF unit and allow for it to spread when contact is made with the CPU. I got superior temps with less goo utilized.

It just performs. In no way any difficulties. The original Silver Paste. If anything, the only factor I'll mention is that at colder winter indoor temperatures. ࿡-68F) the paste becomes a little viscous and tough to spread on thinly. ou can overcome this by warming it up (I soaked the syringe - inside a plastic bag - in a bowl of warm water ahead of use) I WOULD NOT MICROWAVE IT.Even if you apply it a little unevenly and thickly due to this cold viscosity, I'm beneath the impression that as soon as the CPU heats up for the initially time, the paste will reflow a small bit, below the pressure of the heatsink, as a result optimizing it.

Simply the very best thermal paste on the industry.Noticeable temp drops.A little goes a extended way.Silvery!Tastes like magic and win (NO, not seriously! It's a joke. *DO NOT* consume this stuff. Seriously). Price tag. Will stick to certainly every thing. Like your curious children and cat (don't ask).Difficult to wash off of curious young children and cats. It's obtaining a small pricey, but as extended as it maintains this kind of top quality, I don't thoughts paying a small extra. If you don't know how to apply it effectively, get a responsible adult (not me) to show you how. If you place it on wrong, it genuinely can do a lot more harm than very good.
