BYTECC Bracket-35225 2.5 Inch HDD/SSD Mounting Kit For 3.5" Drive Bay or Enclosure
Comment:
Fits two disks no issue As other individuals pointed out, it is unthreaded, but comes with special screws. However the way the thing is set up, the top rated mounted SSD is just above the bracket and some space is wasted below the bottom ssd for bottom threaded riser issues, so when I tried to install in a SFF pc, it chipped the paint off of my leading SSD as it was rubbing straight on it- but even with it in there, the holes just didn't line up. I ended up putting it in a five.25 to three.25 adapter in an ODD bay.... which worked, but seems a bit rediculous. The sata power connectors are a tight fit as properly. All in all, it does its job, but I'd like to uncover anything better. At ŭ, consider getting this plus some thing else in situation it doesn't function out for your situation.

It's the correct dimensions to fit in the Antec Three Hundred mini tower. It came with a lot of screws. None of the holes had been threaded, so none of the screws fit. I ended up not making use of it, since I'd have to thread the holes myself. It's just a affordable piece of plastic so it wouldn't be a big deal, but nevertheless, that's fairly lame.

bought a couple to mount Ɣ) OCZ Vertex drives into my case. Get the job performed. I purchased a SMT Ɣ) 2.five - Ƒ) 5.25 backplane converter, but after pulling the drives out a grand total of 3 times, the backplane self destructed, and started giving me deteriorating read/write time just before that. This thing fits all 4 drives in two units no difficulty, aside from cables, there are absolutely NO troubles. As noted prior to, make of plastic, I would also have paid a handful of bucks extra for metal adapters. None, Extremely suggest for a RAID SSD super rapid boot drive setup. Backplanes are nice in that they house the drives, but they're not fantastic good quality (so far as I have noticed, and I've noticed two unique models from 2 distinct companies)For usually-on, non removable, use these adapters. they kick b.u.t.t.

Can't consider of any Bought this to mount my Crucial 128Meg SSD. But the bracket doesn't fit in my computer system's three.5" bay, nor does it securely hold my SSD. Total waste.

BYTECC Bracket-35225 2.5 Inch HDD/SSD Mounting Kit For 3.5" Drive Bay or Enclosure
Comment:
Inexpensive. Holds both my new OCZ SSD drives in a single 3.five" drive bay. Mounting holes fit both the drive and my case None Only factor I'd adjust is possibly mounting the drives additional to the rear of the bracket so the SATA ports are slightly more simply accessible. Not an issue for me but men and women with angled SATA cable connectors may well have an situation w/ the bottom drive.

Very inexpensive, perfectly efficient. Worked with my tool-much less design case (NZXT Tempest EVO) Doesn't overclock I would only use this for one drive, not two. It has the capability to fit two if they are skinny sufficient (the 2.5" velociraptors aren't), but they would truly be proper on leading of eachother

It functions. No difficulties with the Plastic bracket. I wish it were produced of steel rather of plastic. Examine shipping expense verses the Ů.00 price tag :( Verify to make confident your SSD does not come with a mounting kit ( take a wild guess why I know this now ) before ordering. My intel SSD came with a mounting kit (nice steel bracket kit) though my OSC did not. Inexpensive, but operates fine.

Comment:
None. Initially off, its created absolutely of quite low cost, very uncomplicated to break plastic. Second (the achilles heel), the challenging drive which mounts on the top protrudes beyond the parameters of a 3.5 inch HDD bracket, creating it useless for hot-swappable bay application. Well, one particular pro may well be the fact that it is made out of such a low grade of plastic that I was in a position to break off the tabs separating the two drives enabling me to mount the leading drive upside down, so it could clear the hot-swap bay. Nevertheless one egg. This thing truly sucks. Pay more funds for a better product.

Lets you set up two 2.five SSD's in one three.5 space. But i couldnt get the SSD's to mount tightly. They very loose but it functions The included screws arent long enough to mount the SSDs..And the others are to long.I had to run through my junk box to discover screws that worked It does the job.It could do it greater but for the value its fine.Funny shipping price more than this does

-Turns a three.five" drive bay into a two.five" drive bay capable of storing up to two SSD's or laptop drives-Worked with my one of a kind case How can you screw up something this easy? I had to get this to install an Intel SSD into a Dell Dimension 4550 with an ide to sata converter. I know what you're thinking, "What a waste of an SSD." The truth is I got it for no cost and it wouldn't function in my laptop and the challenging drive in the desktop went undesirable about the exact same time so you tell me what you would have carried out.

Firmly holds two two.five" drives. Open-air and no unnecessary fans/electronics. Worked perfectly with my Antec situation's tool-less mount. Would have preferred metal, but this is nitpicking. Purchased this to hold my OCZ SSD. Worked perfectly with both the SSD and my case. I couldn't ask for any a lot more from a ů item.

Holds my OCZ veretex 60gb ssd perfectly. Straightforward installation. Comes with the screws for installation. It's plastic. The pic is a little misleading as it looks metallic, but it's not. Not certain how it will deal with heat more than time...Also, if you're the kind who fiddles with hardware alot, you could want to look for a metal bracket as the holes aren't threaded. Unscrewing the screws a bunch might give you complications in the future. I'm not sure what others are complaining about in regards to not fitting in an antec 300 case. I discovered the holes lined up perfectly and installation was a breeze in mine and I don't have a lot of room to play with. ƒ 5770s behind the hd bays exactly where my hds are)

Does what it's intended to do. Description never talked about it was plastic.Really flimsy. If the description stated it was plastic I would have nothing to complain about, but paying this much cash for a low-cost piece of plastic appears a tiny overkill.

Fits the SSD drive but is cheaply produced and does not screw in correctly. Produced of plastic. Quite inexpensive looking. I could not get the four screw holes to line up, so I am only making use of two screws to hold the drive in location. Consequently, the drive rotates up and down. Wish I had a far better mount. I would acquire a thing else if I could do it over. Attempt an additional manufacturer!

Pros... mounts a SSD drive ....Can fit two smaller form factor ssd drives (my ssd is 1.8 inches tall) if that's the new normal?A lot of various mounting screw holes for unique case designs. Tight fit into a normal 2.5" floppy drive slot, had to force it tough and it went in slowly. Not certain of the orientation (front?back?) Plain black plastic, some mounting screws included. Wish a small a lot more R&D went into the unit, feels like the bare essentials really.

It lets me mount my SSDs. Metal would be nicer. It in fact operates great in my CM 690 case, but I can see how it could be an problem for some. Getting it threaded, or embedded nuts for normal three.5" drive screws would be a a lot far better decision. For this value, I'm not complaining.

affordable but high top qualityfits perfectly into a 3.five and fits two 2.5s just as nicelyhas every thing you need to have to install it, and so long as you have a tiny typical sense, it can simply be done in 10 minutes instructions are AWFULi wound up putting in my ssd backwards, and realized this when the 2nd set of screws wouldn't fit. if i had tried to force it, i in all probability would have broken then eacha small tricky to line up just appropriate with the screws, but this appears to be a prevalent issue with almost everything held together with screwsmetal in all probability would have been a fair bit sturdier, but the plastic is plenty thick to hold it's personal would obtain again in a heartbeat
