ok like the title says its superior for computer cases ive tryed this out in three diffrent situations. from old ones to latest ones all fited well. the screw holes was threded... & mountering ssd drives was a pice of cake.. now heres my personal individual matter with this. i dont use my hdd cage in my pc..i riped mines out due to needing the space for the longer gfx cards thay comming out with now days. so there for i use a hotswap cage now for my ssd's/hdd'sit doent align the ssd drive to the power & information ports when having the ssd mounted too this thing. besides the con it does function for nomral hdd bays. but if you strategy on making use of this on a hotswap cage dont even bother....

Solved my challenge mounting my SSD in a three.5" space. Shipping makes it pretty pricey for such a tiny quantity of plastic.

Excellent Portion. Does precisely what it is supposed to. Holes lined up with my case. Other reviewers seemed concerned about the part becoming plastic, nevertheless it seems pretty sturdy to me. Took a couple of tries to get the challenging drive, bracket, and case all lined up correctly.

+Allows for install of TWO 2.five" drives into 1 three.5" bay+Well constructed+Comes with two sets of mounting screws+Cheap, inexpensive, affordable+Opening on mounting bracket for heat to escape by spindle? -NOT metal like it looks. Just plastic.-May not disperse heat as well as a metal bracket would []Well produced, although I am not pleased with the choice of material (plastic instead of metal). Cost-free of branding or other marks so it remains a low visual impact piece. Plastic will be uncomplicated to cut/mod if I will need/want for lights or fans, and so on.

BYTECC Bracket-35225 2.5 Inch HDD/SSD Mounting Kit For 3.5" Drive Bay or Enclosure
Comment:
- Fits two SSDs, like it says.- High top quality plastic.- Inexpensive. - Screw holes misaligned to fit in Antec 900 drive bay.- Screw holes don't come threaded, so you have to do it oneself.- Screw holes appear to demand the mounting screws provided (not poor on a lower-finish case, but on a gaming/performance case this could be an problem).- Top tray slightly huge to hold two.5" drive (bends slightly inward with the mounting screws). Overall, this is a wonderful product. If you're searching for some answer other than duct tape to mount your SSDs to your computer case, this is exactly what you will need. As other critiques have mentioned, it is made of plastic, but this is not genuinely a large dilemma. The plastic is of a extremely high grade, and unless you're carrying out air cooling on a critical overclock, I don't believe you'll have to worry about it failing (i.e. melting). The greatest complaint I have about this is the fact that the holes for the mounting screws did not line up with my Antec 900 case. It fits in the slot just fine, but you have to choose one pair of screws to line up with the case's mounting holes (unless you're like me and have a Dremel handy).Maybe a way that the item can be improved for future iterations would be the inclusion of some type of installation guide (mine was lacking) to show you how the drives are supposed to sit in the bracket, and how the bracket aligns, compared to the other HDDs you've got.

It does precisely what you need. Holds two ƒ) 2.5" SSDs. Contains screws, but my case (HAF 922) makes it added uncomplicated to install the bracket into the drive bays. Not a con for me, but maybe for some men and women. The bracket is plastic, but unless you are going to be putting your pc via some high-G manuevers on a fighter jet or you are just plain a brute with your components, it's not an problem.

Comment:
New SSD drive fit into bracket. BRACKET DOES NOT FIT INTO MY CASE. I have an Antec 902 case, and this plastic bracket does not fit. The screw holes simply do not line up with the screw holes in my case. I thought I was doing one thing wrong and attempted for an hour to get it to work, but no, the screw holes are misaligned. Makes this mount useless.... ű was costly to begin with for a uncomplicated piece of plastic...and on leading of that doesn't even fit...Nothing else to mention.

Working as intended. Was able to mount a SSD in it to fit in the tough drive bay. No complications with either mounting. Trying to connect the SATA power was a little tricky, but was able to connect 3 drives to one power cord. None

SSD fit snugly in, mounting kit fits snugly in the drive bay, all is well and organized in my tower. Plastic works just fine for the job it does. It is not feng shui. Black plastic holding a silver SSD in a black aluminum case. The evil spirits are upon me.

it fits. The holes are NOT threaded, and the screws that came with it are useless. This indicates you need to have to uncover some other -larger- screws that will tap into the plastic. meh. Do not UNSCREW this once it is in place. The plastic will wear away.

Comment:
I was pleasantly surprised to locate that this specific bracket turns a three.five" bay ito Ʀ* 2.5" Bays. Had I identified this I may have gotten a two.five" hard drive to fill it out in my create as I have a single SATA port left open in my Mini-ITX box.Excellent price, comes with the screws you need to have. If you're in Canada it ships from a Newegg warehouse in Toronto. None that I have noticed. The screws to mount to a 3.five" bay seem to be a bit smaller than regular Cant go wrong with this if you have to have to convert a 3.5" bay into something that will manage 2.five" drives.
