COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest Intel 1366/1155 and AMD FM1/AM3+
Cons:Can only be mounted horizontally

Pros:Large heatsink and update  to the classic 212
Comment:
Wish the mounting mechanism was easier. Can interfere with ramsinks on certain motherboards due to the heatsink only being able to orient one direction. While the heatsink might not interfere, it is entirely possible for the CPU fan to cause issues.

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest Intel 1366/1155 and AMD FM1/AM3+
Cons:- slightly harder to install compared to a Noctua- not as easy to install fans as you need to screw the bracket to it- default fan is kinda noisy- moves a bit even when installed

Pros:- low temp- price
Comment:
While it does the job and the price is cheap, not really happy with the heatsink. See the above cons for my reasoning.

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest Intel 1366/1155 and AMD FM1/AM3+
Cons:None, a home run

Pros:Low temps, good price, easy installation.
Comment:
I despise mounting massive CPU heat sinks, always a pain. This thing was excellent, 10 minutes and done. Temps are good, price is good, relatively quiet, don't have a single complaint about it.

For the price, you cannot go wrong. I've got this for 29$ once pricematched. I really recommend it.

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest Intel 1366/1155 and AMD FM1/AM3+
Cons:Its a tall boy, almost touches the side panel in my Shinobi. At full speed it is loud.Mounting Bracket is very budget and cheap.Only allows one way facing on AMD systems (top/down).

Pros:Looks very nice.Very quiet when using PWM control.Lowers CPU temps by a decent amount.Nice, long black cable.Fan clip system very easy to use.Full direct contact with copper pipes
Comment:
I bought this HSF because of the price, you cant argue about that. It does its good well and is usually pretty quiet for me. I use Q-fan so it doesn't run at full speed because it is very noisy at 100%. Looks nice in my case but because I ran a AMD system I am stuck only using a top/down mounting. Also, the mounting system itself is very cheap and I do not like it but it was only $25. Anything close to this is twice the price.I am not sure if I would buy it again though. I prefer my HSF using the front/back facing. I would maybe shop around and find a HSF that uses a better mounting bracket.

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest Intel 1366/1155 and AMD FM1/AM3+
Cons:Big, takes up a bit of room.

Pros:Inexpensive! Pretty easy to install.
Comment:
Well, I just picked this up with an extra Yate Loon 120mm fan. Installed this on an Asus M5A97 with a FX-4100 b 4.2GHz. My stock temps were at 38C, and 54C under load. They're down to 32C, and 47C load. These numbers were achieved by running Prime95 or 40 minutes, and using SpeedFan for the temps. Couldn't be happier with the purchase, especially for the price. I might look into some better fans to see that improves the temps and bump up the clock a bit more. All-in-all well worth the money and highly recommended.

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest Intel 1366/1155 and AMD FM1/AM3+
Cons:Instillation a bit clumsy.

Pros:Runs quiet, keeps CPU cool.
Comment:
Bought this to cool my i5 3570k. Overclocked to 4.2 using OC genie and ran some tests. It kept the CPU at a cool temperature throughout. The only problem was with the instillation which felt a bit clumsy and had poor instructions.

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest Intel 1366/1155 and AMD FM1/AM3+
Cons:Can't replace with any 120mm fan

Pros:Ease of installation, kit contains all you need, well documented, very good performances.
Comment:
I didn't expect much from the price but I've read the glowing reviews and went ahead with it anyway. I have a 8 core AMD cpu and it used to easily reach 80+ C when I played games or processed videos. It now rests at 50-60C without issues. The installation was super easy and well documented. Took me about 10 minutes because I didn't want to mess up. It was my first heatsink installation for an AM3+ cpu. They even include the thermal paste.

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest Intel 1366/1155 and AMD FM1/AM3+
Cons:-comes with just 1 fan, hard to find the exact same if you wanted 2. But temps are great only a single fan setup.

Pros:-Good Temps-Easy install if fresh mobo/cpu install-cheap
Comment:
First heatsink install in a few years and didn't have any problems. I am getting temps of 30C and on idle and 50C on stress test for a new i5 3570k at stock in a hot room , this is with all case fans and the cpu fan on low and practically silent. You can't even notice the PC is on unless you really listen and its quiet.I have not tried cranking the fans and over clocking yet.

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest Intel 1366/1155 and AMD FM1/AM3+
Cons:- Instructions are a little sparse. Take your time when installing!

Pros:- Easy install, even for the inexperienced :-)- Very quiet even under load.- Supports decent overclocking (see below).- Cool looking!
Comment:
I had never installed this type of HSF before and was very pleased with the result. It was extra work for me because my case has no CPU cut out in the mobo tray, so... that meant in order to install the backplate, I need to take my whole PC apart. Instructions are a little light on details, but all the info you need is there if you take your time. I am very pleased with this cooler, and I was able to overclock my i7 920 from 2.6 GHz to 3.6 GHz with little effort. I ended up with (average) 43 C on idle, 50-60 C gaming load, 73-74 C Prime95 after 10 minutes. I am running just the single stock fan in a P180 case, so I still have the extra headroom of getting another fan and setting up push/pull cooling if I need more. I have nothing bad to say about this cooler, particularly for the $28 price matched price. Love NCIX for that feature!

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest Intel 1366/1155 and AMD FM1/AM3+
Cons:Takes a bit of time to install but well worth the effort. You can rotate the cooler a tiny bit either way after installation but this doesn't affect performance; contact with CPU is still good.

Pros:Big; dissipates the heat much better than stock CPU cooler. I'm hitting max temps of 61C on an i5 2500K, down from 80C on the stock cooler. (100% max CPU test for 10 minutes at room temp 24C (75F) using supplied CoolerMaster thermal grease.) Now feels safe to try an overclock (if I want). A bit quieter than the Intel supplied CPU cooler. Mounting solution seems solid after installation. I didn't have to remove the motherboard in my Antec 300 case because the side cover comes off, so, installation was easier than I expected
Comment:
Overall very happy with my purchase.I didn't seem to have much trouble with this installation. Here's what I did: 1. Install the back-plate. 2. Test fit without thermal grease. 3. Take it off an apply thermal grease. 4. Install the cooler and tighten it down. 5. Plug it in. (Took me about 30 minutes.)I've got it installed vertically so the fan pushes air through the heat-sink towards the back of the case. If you have big RAM heat spreaders, you may have to adjust the fan or install in a horizontal rather than vertical position, to push the air towards the top of the case; or install in a pull rather than push configuration.

Pros:quite, cheap
Comment:
i got this so i could get something quiet to replace my stock heatsink. Does the job very well, i can barely hear it. Good price. Only runs a few degrees cooler than my stock cooler but but it's not in push-pull. Everything looks like it's high quality for the price. It also comes with some thermal paste, it's kind of questionable looking but if you don't got any and don't really care, well hey, it's in there for you.

Cons:attaching the crossbar lever is tricky as the notch fits only one way to get the cooler to mount properly over the cpu....fiddle with this lever before applying thermal paste and removal of plastic sheet on cooler base to see the proper positioning and fit of the X levers.

Pros:cools as advertised
Comment:
Definitely would buy again but look to pm. Test the mounting before removal of plastic sheet so you can get the proper pin alignment of the cooler X levers.
