Cons:a lot of heat produce

Pros:Cheap, $15, better than the stock one

It's cheap, but the small fan means that your processor will be hotter than with other coolers.

Lapped it and slapped it on an overclocked quad core. Much to my amazement, it runs cool and quiet and doesn't look half poor. At some point in the close to future I do program on switching out the fans, but for the moment, I cant complain. For พ.00, its unbeatable. There are some gaps between the plate and the heat pipes, but I suppose you'll have that. Not a big sufficient deal to deduct a star in my opinion. COOLER MASTER RR-H101-22FK-RA 80mm Long life sleeve bearing CPU Cooler
Cons:- Not as quiet as I'd like (PWM version would likely be better)- Not enough heat dissipation to run a 95w CPU without a fan, even when underclocked and with good case airflow

Pros:- Fairly Quiet, even with the fixed 2200rpm version- Fits inside my Antec NSK2400 (barely)- You can mount it in any of the 4 positions to best match your case air path- Fairly Cheap
Comment:
I got this in a bundle deal with a Phenom II 960T. It keeps the chip nice and cool with the fan, but can't cool it sufficiently without the fan. I might be able to remedy that by undervolting a little more; I haven't had enough time to really play with it. It might be adequate on a 65w chip, and I'm certain it could passively cool a 45w or less without the fan.Not a bad cooler for the money, but if I had more room in my case I would have gotten a bigger one. If Scythe still made the Mini Ninja, I would have bought that instead.Overall, a decent product.

COOLER MASTER RR-H101-22FK-RA 80mm Long life sleeve bearing CPU Cooler
Cons:Not the best material (kind of cheap feeling), clips were a little annoying to get hooked up

Pros:Got it for free with the phenom 960t, looks cool
Comment:
Got it basically for free, so cant really complain. Way better than a stock cooler, but if you looking to really overclock your stuff then maybe spend a little extra and get a better one. This review was modfied by poster @ 02-17-12 11:02 AM

Cools nicely, Price. I hate it when individuals come on here and give bad evaluations or pick a item apart on concerns fully conscious to them prior to acquire.I knew soon as I became interested in this set up, the pad was not flush.I knew there were gaps among pipes. It's frequent sense and if you look at a base pic you would see them ahead of obtain.(That was why I chose a ceramique compound) I felt like Curly Howard attempting to install this factor on a AM3. Everytime I got one particular side on, the lever bracket would fall off.Took me 15 incredibly frustrating minutes fighting with this to get it to latch.Worst bracket style I've ever utilized. It looked straightforward in pics. But that tiny bracket drove me nuts. It's also really loud on full speed. All in all for the money it's a great cooler. My technique dropped 22c on full load in prime95(this fan and AS Ceramique combination) Was 62c with stock fan and Masscool Stars 700. Now running at 40c and has not even cured.Temps were pulled 15 minutes right after install running prime95. So far incredibly impressed. NOW to see how extended it lasts? Took one particular egg off for bracket style. I'd refer this and get a different in a heartbeat.

Low-cost , quiet , low height. I got this for and HTPC develop , simply because of its hight.I have and Athlon two.7Ghz X3 Rana , Does not cool at all.It sais it is 95W TPD , and 1Ǜ of the DIE is not even covered with the plate.Low-cost product! , I was expecting additional from this brand! The thermal paste that it comes with is junk! If you will need quiet and low profile go for Scythe SCSMZ-2000. It is more high-priced , but you know the affordable item is a lot more pricey than the pricey one at the finish. It is now eve worth it to return the factor! My CPU is at 69C IDLE!Devote a lot more on a cooler! I will under no circumstances buy a ฟ CPU cooler again! Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Client - We apologize for any inconvenience. Potent for the value. Horrible mounting bracket. It would've been easier if I had a second pair of hands. I assume it's quiet. Overall, it cools enough for me to tamper with my CPU. It also dropped my ambient temperature a couple of degrees.

COOLER MASTER RR-H101-22FK-RA 80mm Long life sleeve bearing CPU Cooler
Comment:
Fairly quiet, keeps the CPU fairly chilly (dropped temps on my Phenom II x4 two.8ghz from 34C idle኉C load to 27C idleችC load), and fits in pretty much any midtower case. I have a extremely smaller midtower, and it fits into my case very easily. The fan that comes with it spins at 2300rpm, but is not audible more than the whir of my 90mm case fan that is spinning at 2600rpm. Assembly is a small difficult and the instructions are extremely light, but as long as you take your time it should be fine. I had purchased an Enermax 80mm fan to replace my stock HSF, but it couldnt move adequate air with the stock HS to maintain the CPU cool, so I bought this and popped my Enermax fan into the pull position. This morning my CPU temps had been beneath ambient ྶC compared to program temp of 24C). It's a fantastic value and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this product once again for another construct.

Can be setup as a push/pull. Have one fan pushing plugged in to the cpu fan header and the pull to the case fan header. No other fans necessary to cool my 555BE overclocked to 3.6 GHz idling at 28C and does not go over 41C when loaded using CPU stability test. None. Used with MX-2. Had to use my spare 80mm Roswill fan and in an old Compaq case with a couple of mods to raise air flow. Best loading PSU with two fans helps cool program with the HSF pointing to the very same direction. Will attempt to overclock to 3.8 GHz next.

Bought this to install on the over side of an DIY ecofan with an eBay bought peltier.Price matched at 11.00$, this item was a steal. Total ecofan build price = 14$. Enormously over sized peltier so that I have spare power to drive other fans around my wood stove. The resulting ecofan will be a little noisier than an original. But the stove is in the basement where I go only to feed it wood so I don't care.

If you just need to replace a stock heatsink, or get a little bit greater cooling, this is the thing to get. ฤ is a wonderful value. Installation is straightforward (no backplates or anything) Just a bracket and a clamp. Installation is not technically tough, but it's very difficult (even following doing it 20 occasions) Take a deep breath, take your time, and practice how the level mounts and slides before you in fact try to install it. It is incredibly, very chintzy. The thermal paste that comes with these is TERRIBLE. Throw it straight in the trash. I like these simply because they're straight forward, fit in mid-towers nicely and do a decent job. If you just need to have a replacement or a step up from stock, hand more than your ฤ and be pleased. Nonetheless, they're truly at the finish of their capacity on high-wattage CPUs. I have this attached to a stock 1055 Thuban + Arctic Silver sitting in a high airflow full tower and the fans are operating full speed even though the temp flirts with 30 just sitting here surfing the net. I don't fault the cooler for this- it's a ฤ cooler, doing ฤ worth of function. (Actually, I'd say it's performing additional like ษ-ฮ)

solid construction, can set up two fans in a push/pull configuration, huge adequate to do the job tiny adequate to fit most instances. installation is multi-directional. cost supplied fan has sleeved bearings and 3 pin wiring. installing on an AMD board can be a pita, base is not milled as effectively as it could be and has modest gaps about the piping. Initially off I don't like fans with sleeve bearing but I knew this had one when I ordered it so, I utilised ball bearing fans instead. The hold-down hardware could have been created better but, as soon as on works properly. I also utilized Arctic Silver rather of the thermal grease supplied (personal preference). Now the biggy, it dropped my temps from 42ኈ degrees c. to 36ኂ degrees c. I wouldn't advocate this for an overclocker but, for a person like me who wants much more cooling than a stock heatsink for a low price this heatsink is for you.

I purchased this due to the fact of the cost and you it definiteky does a good job for what it expenses. My AMD Phenom x3 740 runs at 26-28 F. I had no challenge aligning it effectively on the chip but i did use my own thermal paste and not the small tube they supplied. The mounting bracket is clunky. It appears like some thing your grandpa created in the garage workshop. I have an AM3 socket. The worst part is the noise/ vibration. Mine came with 4 tiny self adhesive foam squares in each corner of the fane snap on bracket. They also contain 4 additional for the second bracket they give you. No matter what i have completed I cant appear to get this thing to quit vibrating. I can a single finger , lightly on the fan, and the noise stops but as soon as I let go the noise returns. I'm not certain if the vibration is happening between the fan and the heatsink or among the heatsink and chip. Either way I dont definitely want a heatsink sitting there vibrating against the leading of my CPU. That can't be good in the lengthy run. I'll maintain operating with to see if I can get it isolated but if not I'll be calling Coolermaster for some suggestions. Its too inexpensive to return...but would function nicely if I can get rid of this noise. Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Customer - We apologize for any inconvenience. Please get in touch with us via the Live chat link below so we can assist you in discovering the cause of the vibration. If the cpu cooler is faulty, we will replace it no issue. The cost is difficult to resist. It does cool fairly well but with a price.....read on. The thing is noisy. The mounting bracket is affordable and poorly created. It puts the downward pressure in one spot at the center of the CPU..then when you clip on the fan it unbalances the weight of the overall setup. This permits for the vibration against the back of the chips. This is a followup review because I have talked twice to Coolermaster on the net assistance. The very first time they had me place a parts request for a second fan. I did and 3 weeks later they never ever approvedthe order. The second time i chattedwith them they switch the parts request to a new heatsink and supposedly approved it. Dont waste your money and time. Pay the additional ฟ to get a far better mounting bracket and a better heatpipe/plate style. You dont want a fan sitting there vibrating agaisnt your CPU.
