Comment:
This power provide is wonderful. Modular and adequate energy to manage most builds. I did some research and it will handle anything I have plus lots of upgrades in the future like SLI. Solid product with no concerns. The motherboard and PCI-E cables are not modular. Not a con for me due to the fact they are necessary anyway, but some people today might not like this.

Looks great, a lot of length, additional than sufficient connections for anybody's computer Also a lot money, and I nevertheless bought it. Paid for the corsair name. I would rather have paid a handful of dollars less and not have had the fancy box or velvet bag. Powers up my haf 932 with a power hungry gtx 570 and nonetheless plenty of energy left.

Ideal Power Provide Ever, Period!!! A lot more pricey? Possibly? Like your components & hate Rma's, this is the power supply for you. Wonderful, reliable power provide & does what it's supposed to without troubles. Backed by a 7 year warranty, as well! No-Brainer. This PSU is prime notch, stable, quiet, & reliable. Zilch, Nada. You get what you pay for, however, this is a single location you shouldn't inexpensive out. RMA's, shipping componentsback to manufacturers cost each time, income & at the worst, lost irreplaceable valuable information & lotsa frustration! You save a tiny on a cheapo PSU & it usually comes back to bite you on the ........!!!! Save oneself the headaches & skimp somewhere else.

CORSAIR Professional Series HX850 (CMPSU-850HX) 850W Power Supply
Cons:8-pin CPU power connector is really short, in a HAF XM with a Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H and a Zalman CNPS12X HSF I could barely make it reach all the way and using cable management/routing it behind the MB was out of the question, so that was really unpleasant. Just an extra inch would have been great, the other cables are fine. Not entirely modular--8-pin CPU and 24-pin ATX connectors were not removable, surprisingly neither were 2 of the 6+2-pin PCI-E connectors, although as you have to use all of these anyways it didn't bother me really.

Pros:Not too big or heavy. Works great. Plenty of cables included, mostly modular, mostly long enough, quality wiring/sleeves. Build quality is fantastic, it feels like a very professionally-made product. Very quiet, doesn't seem to get hot.
Comment:
Despite the short 8-pin connector and the handful of non-modular cables this is all-around a spectacular PSU. Although I just got it, my old Corsair HX520 has lasted absolutely fine for over 5 years now and is still kicking. Corsair builds excellent, high-quality stuff; you can really feel the quality of this thing.

Comment:
Quiet, incredibly quiet essentially, single rail, additional than sufficient cables, runs cool, will handle future upgrades, far more video cards, 7 year warranty, and so on. Just Google the reviews and see for oneself - basically awesome. The included bag was a bit of a waste - employed mine to hold the extra cables - but I'm seriously nit choosing here. The price has decreased since I purchased mine about a year ago. I wanted the finest for this technique (X58 i7 930)and immediately after several hours of reasearch chose the Corsair 850HX. This is a very high good quality power supply - at it's present value you can't go incorrect.

Quite stable, clean power. Stays cool below load and never ever complains. I have a 930 OCed, 3 SSDs in raid, ten fans, H70 and two 5870s in Crossfire and this PSU laughs at me. Lots of cable length to do what you will need and a good powedercoat finish. Overall, quite pleased. My only complaint is the actual cables are flat and separated into two runs for the same cables. This created my cable management excersise a much more difficult. Also, this was a single of the pricier PSUs in its class. For these two factors, I deduct and egg. General a really nice power provide for its class and rating. If you are seeking for 850W PSU and cant decide, this one need to be at the top of your list. It does almost everything that it advertises and doesnt break a sweat.

Great good quality. Excellent performance. Very cool packaging! None. This is a 1st class PSU. Had my eye on the AX850 but picked up the HX for a good sale price. The totally modular AX would make upgrading/swapping a lot less complicated but I just couldn't pass up on a great deal.

Incredibly quiet at complete load, handles watercooled and heavily overclocked i920 and GTX 470 in SLI. Looks wonderful, modular. Messy modular PCI-E cables, come on Corsair do a much better job...12V rail dips a lot more than some energy supplies I've used lately, but is nicely within ATX specs. Replaced a noisy CoolerMaster 1200W Silent Pro Gold with this unit, been very please, no genuine concerns.

CORSAIR Professional Series HX850 (CMPSU-850HX) 850W Power Supply
Cons:The CPU 8Pin length could be longerModular connections look somewhat average

Pros:Many connectors
Comment:
I preferred this over the Seasonic M12 850W, I have both. Have enough 6+2pins for two, three videocards. Good build and feel heavy, the modular connections are flat, not braided. The CPU 8pin connector length is adequate but too short if you want to run behind the case. Include and extension for the 8pin would be nice.

Comment:
Modular design is great; worth the additional income. 4 widespread power cables come tricky wired attached ƒ for MB; 2 for Video card), and that was fine given that they are generally applied.Cables are great and long. Had no troubles reaching the motherboard connections in a relatively large Corsair 600t case. Nicely packaged for the trip from the factory to my residence.Good pouch for storage of added modular cablesDocumentation was decent.Runs quite quiet in my setup. none that I can feel of for a great stable psu that functions. I was going to go with a 750, but decided to go with the 850 so that I can upgrade in the future and not worry about it.I was going to go with a non-modular psu, but it seems most individuals who purchased non-modular psu wish they had bought modular psu, so I went modular - very content I did. Cable management is so considerably less complicated with only possessing to deal with power cables you really use. Worth spending the extra money for a clean develop that is upgradeable.Corsair psus are constantly very rated, so obtaining a single of them was an uncomplicated choice to make. Google this specific model psu and you will find rave critiques. Also appear at the newgg reviews for this psu - really highly rated.I have bought a quantity of Corsair solutions lately and locate them to be of the highest excellentt casea70 cpu fanand this psu.I am becoming a fan of Corsair items.

Modularity! I've been making use of precisely similar unit which I bought 7 month ago and had no issues at all. Glad the unit I got not too long ago wasn't defective adequate to destroy my MOBO, CPU and HDs =) Just got a second Corsair PSU(same unit model) and when I installed it I got an "Overclocking Failed" error(initially system was overclocked). Immediately after that I took it out and installed an old a single(same unit model) and it worked fine. Couldn't figure out what is precisely incorrect with it, but it obviously PSU. Wish newegg could take care of shipping cost, don't feel like paying extra out of my pocket due to the fact of partially faulty unit I received.

A lot of power for my overclocked i7-760, dual oc'd GTX 460 rig. The construct excellent on this power supply is great, and the modular cable system was uncomplicated to use, although when I finally got it installed there was still rather a bit of cable clutter, but that was far more of a case problem and lack of experience with cable management. Price tag! I wish it wasn't as expensive, but you get what you spend for.

Beastly PSU delivers substantial amounts of power devoid of flinching. Minimal noise from the use of excellent japanese caps. Truly in a position to deal with a lot power than its advertised wattage rating. Fantastic warranty period backed by quality corsair client service. Slightly longer cables would've been nice, but not a biggy. Most people truly don't require this considerably power...even for SLI/Xfire gpu setups.
