Price, got two of these sets for 99 bucks prior to rebates!They look nice and shiny!They function fantastic! I have to deal with a rebate :P The ideal ram I have ever owned!I applied to be an OCZ guy, but I feel I'll stick with Corsair from now on.

Purchased this kit for my new AMD Pc create paired with the M4A87TD Evo motherboard. To get the advertised frequency and timings just adjust it in the bios and your set! None! Content to come across this set. Was a booger trying to discover a supported set for my Mobo Thanks Corsair!

fast good price dont get to hot heat sinks on them are good had to adjust the memory usage for it so i would be running at 1600 insted of 1300 none so far

I always acquire Corsair memory. By no means had a issue with it.Looks nice. Solid heatsinks. Not 1.5v It was recommended I get 1.5v memory for my new H61 board but I currently had this 1.65v memory. Presently running it at 1333Ǟ-8-8-20Ǘ.5vNo troubles whatsoever at 1.5v. Has passed several tests and benchmarks.

it works as created - no concerns at all none most negatives comments can be tracked back to the user not getting compatible parts. if you are constructing your own 'puter, do the necessary research & purchase the appropiate CPU, MoBo, OS etc. It's most most likely NOT the parts.

Runs fine at 1.five V at 1600 齠MHz) 9-9-9-24. Corsair appears to be saying 1.65 Volts is necessary. I'm not convinced the heat spreaders are a great concept. BIOS tweaking necessary. 785G motherboard - Foxconn Cinema II with Athlon II X4 640. Memtest86+ four.20 shows 4731 MB/s

Installed with ease. Already had 6gb of XMS now have a total of 10gb. No a lot more hiccups streaming out media center to PS3 none Could not come across the exact model that was OEM from ibuypower, infact this is faster then the xms dominator.

I dropped 1 of the DIMMs about two inches and it cut my finger, but didn't have even the slightest impact on the DIMM. The heatsink is really sturdy, not even in the slightest does it really feel flimsy. None. My motherboard I ordered with this arrived DOA, so I never ever definitely got to use the RAM but, will update evaluation once new motherboard is here.

*IMPORTANT Data*Works like a charm, but I had to alter settings in my BIOS to get it to function.I've got 8GB, but Windows 7 64-bit only recognized 3.65GB of it. Following looking around, I found out that I had to manually alter the timings and voltage in my BIOS to 9-9-9-9-24 and 1.65V respectively. I knew about altering the voltage, but I overlooked the fact that you had to adjust timings as properly.This was with an ASUS P7P55D-E Pro motherboard (that's an 1156 i7/i5/i3 board, FYI). Other motherboards may possibly work fine with no messing with the BIOS. None.(Although I was definitely freaking out about having only three.65GB usable)

it got here soon after a week? where do i even commence? this will not run at it's rated speed please save oneself some time don't even try tweak it cuz it's not gonna go anywhere, it BSODs when it's running at 1600mhz @ 9-9-9 @ 1.65v tried run it at 1.7v but still the samething Ƒ.725v is when it's stable at "stock" speed) putting my old ram back in nowthis is THE worst DDR3 i have even employed, very good job corsair and this is to Newegg, why did this ram took a week to get here when it's shipped from nashville? my address is only 15min away from exactly where it's shipped... heatsinks, posts at rated speeds, cost. none so far, and I don't forsee any in the future. Corsair is generally at the top of their game.

Got it for 25 as an upgrade from 4gigs to 8. definately worth it at such a low price, although i'm sure there's higher quality ram out there

Runs as specified. clocks to 1600 but overclocking further is a letdown. excellent cost, fantastic ram.
