This was my first time building computer from scratch so I was A little nervus but determinded to wade through all the options. Product reviews, forums and other info I found online were very helpful and my brother helped on the buildI installed 4x2GB chips on ASUS P7P55D-E Deluxe P55 ATX LGA1156 Motherboard with Intel Core i5 750 Quad Core Processor, a Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 Vapor-X 860MHZ 1GB video Card and a Creative Sound Blaster X-FI Titanium FATAL1TY Champion Sound Card in an In Maelstrom Full Tower ATX Case. I've observed none of the issues discribed in other reviews hear. I'm very happy with product! Installed easily , Ram was recognized & configed no problems, seems to match up with system purfectly. This Ram is very fast and making use of of both bridges is nice. If I could afford it, SSD drive would have been iciing on the cake!!! but my Western Digital WD1001FALS Caviar Black 1TB SATA2 Hard Drive will have to do . Looking forward to triing A little O/C soon ! Oh! No! more reading##??

CORSAIR XMS3 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons:Will not run at rated speed and for me

Pros:Cheap when on sale
Comment:
gives me prime 95 errors at anything above 1500mhz motherboards is rated for 1600mhz ddr3 so im not sure whats up it runs fine tho at 1460 8-8-8-20 so with the tighter timings its still pretty fast its not worth the trouble of rma or anything it was just alot of teaking to overclock while trying to keep the speed of this ram down

Cons:MIR

Pros:Cheap and it works

This RAM works perfectly in my affordable gaming rig. Bought during the boxing day sale where it was a bit cheaper than the regular price. The only bad thing about it is the MIR which is basically the waiting game for now!

CORSAIR XMS3 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons:Will not work properly with i5-750 and P55A-UD3

Pros:Name but that is about it
Comment:
Have been battling the problem with BSOD Stop 124 errors and inability to resume out of hibernation when running in dual channel mode. When it is and the machine is powered up after entering hibernation there is no video out or post screen and no hard drive activity. Even after using XMP profile in the BIOS for the Gateway MB the problem with BSOD is lessened but not eliminated.

CORSAIR XMS3 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons:Does not overclock

Pros:Very stable on specified timings
Comment:
After buying RAM that was actually incompatible with my mobo due to its voltage requirements I purchased this set to see if there was a problem with the mobo or not. It has been working very well at the advertised timings and voltage, but any attempt to overclock or tighten the timings ends in tears.I am running them on a GA-MA790FXT-UD5P motherboard (AM3 socket), and would definitely buy again.
