Good Product
Comment:
Bought this fan to go with a cpu and mb kit. It was huge have not used it, to big for my other system too. Will probably give away to someone who can use it.

Great Product. Watch out!
Comment:
I love this product. Saved me in a pinch. However, the size is a little obstructive. When I installed the product it concealed the P2 plug that powers my CPU. Be careful! This monster of a fan covers everything.

cool and quiet
Comment:
very large but fit on a micro-atx board. ATA HD's are in the way but with SATA there would be no issues. minimal noise for the amount of cooling. besides it looks pretty hype.

Neat Cooler
Comment:
Very large, and EXTREMELY Quiet. I feared it would have a noisy fan, but my fears were unwarranted. When I opened the box, I commented that it would look like a V-8 in the engine compartment of a VW. In my system it DOES NOT look out of place, but in a smaller case I could see where the size might be a problem.

excellent fan
Comment:
the fan is a little big but it fit in the case with no problems. Quiet and smooth - installation was not difficult. I will likely buy another one, but since the fan has a back plate - so install the fan before you put in the board! As an upgrade fan, you'll have to remove the board to install this fan (but it is worth it)

A good CPU cooler at a budget
Comment:
Not as fancy as some of the big block heatsinks you could buy, but definitely on par in quality and very affordable (Relatively). This whole heatsing fits perfectly in my computer case, has a very large, powerful and quiet fan and keeps my cpu considerable cooler than the stock intel fan (In itself the stock intel is a decent cooler but I go overboard). This cooler also has an interesting feature where the stock fan can be replaced by two smaller sized fans to overlap with RAM and help keep the computer even a little cooler overall; a neat feature which I didn't need but could consider useful if I wanted some extra cooling for my memory.

Nice Fan
Comment:
I could see it would take a little work to install if you were putting it in a system that is already put together. If you are building a new one like I was, it is a snap just install the CPU and follow the instructions before mounting the MB to the case and it falls right into place. It is big but it keeps my system running cold and quiet.

Great fan for the money
Comment:
I got this fan to go with my AMD Phenom 9750. Running about 29C at idle, 46C at 100% load. Used Prime95 to test. Larger, but fit my case nicely. The instructions were ok. Cons: Let's just hope I don't have to replace my memory anytime soon.

Very Big, Queit, Keeps Things Cool
Comment:
This thing looks amazing and it is pretty big as well. It is very quiet and keeps things really cool. The only bad thing about this cpu Cooler is the directions; they are absolutely horrible! An Elementary Student could have written better directions. I am very good with computers so I figured it out, but be prepared to spend some time one it. The screws that screw into the bracket that hold the cpu cooler onto the Processor wouldn't screw in, almost as if the threading on the bracket was wrong. Besides the directions everything else is flawless. Definitely a good buy.

Great Value
Comment:
I had a problem with my processor overheating. Had a stock cooler and upgraded to this. Has not overheated since I installed it. Actually runs at 20-25 C even at full load (with CS3). Was 70-80 C before. Installation was really easy. I did not have to remove the motherboard. The only problem was removing the old bracket. It's quite large, and looked like it wouldn't fit, but it did fit nicely. This fan it very quiet. Can't really hear it at all.

quiet, but hard to install
Comment:
Very large fan. Much quieter than the Zalman fan I replaced. Connects to motherboard using 4 wires instead of 3, so BIOS can control fan speed after you set the BIOS options for cooling. CPU temperatures appear about the same as when CPU was cooled with the Zalman. Note, however, that the motherboard must be removed from the case to install this fan, since it is secured to the motherboard with hex nuts on the back side of the board. And I had to drill a hole in the mounting plate that snugs against the back side of the motherboard to make room for a board component that protruded about 3mm from the back side of the board. Be aware that installation is not a 5 minute project.

Very Big !
Comment:
It was Huge. I Had to do a bit of Case Modding To Fit It In. Hp s5213w SlimLine Be sure Your Mobo has a 4-pin cpu'fan Plug. I had to hotwire Mine to a 12volt , As my mobo was only saying about 8volt from the 3-pin. So it was only running Half Speed. Now it runs 100% all the Time , lol I Love It !

Cold Operation
Comment:
This CPU fan is fantastic. It keeps my AMD Phenom X4 9750 at around 29C even with it being overclocked from 2.4GHz to 2.817 GHz. The only thing I didn't like were the instructions which took me an hour and a half to figure out.

Great Cooler.
Comment:
Used this cooler for a Thermaltake Lanbox Lite, and I picked the right one. It was between the thermalright AXP-140 or this and I actually had both, I got much better temps with this heatsink. Definitely worth it even if you don't have a small form factor case!

Coolermaster GeminII S Copper 5 Heatpipe Cooler 120MM
Comment:
This Fan works great. I ordered it to replace CPU fan that was too wide for access to Memory Sticks without removal of the fan itself. assembly was a litt tedeious but manageable. I used the AM2 mounting setup and replaced the MOBO mounting plate with the one provided for the Fan. on a new build this was very easy. On an already mounted system this would be a pain.
