I wrote one more overview on this but now I'm using the proper account. This was a gift from my sister so now I'm logged in her account to show that I am a verified customer. It stopped working immediately after just two months! The sound stopped operating on it and it's since the wire is somebody loose on the volume manage region. I know this because when I mess with the wire there it comes back. But not it fully stopped. I did not run over the wire or the unit and kept my headset in excellent situation. The five.1 and 7.1 virtual surround modes work effectively. Though playing Bad Organization 2, I can hear enemy Assault running up behind me attempting to claim my dog tags. I have a big, wobbly noggin (looks like Sputnik) and come across that the headphones to fit snuggly, but comfortably. The cable on the headphones is about 8 feet extended. It's each a blessing and a curse... You'll locate that the cable simply twists up in knots following taking the heads telephone on and off in the course of the day. Overall I am satisfied with these headphones, and I think the sound quality is excellent. I was surprised at how much sound I was missing in my games using my old ear buds, and how much surround can really add! And the folks I play with, chatting via Skype, told me the mic sound quality is excellent.My one issue, and the one that might prevent me from buying again, is how terribly the mic monitoring feature works. This is the option to be able to hear your own voice back through the headphones when you speak. This is something I really like because I find with full headphones like these, that isolate external sound, without mic monitoring my voice sounds like it's under water in my head, and the louder the game gets, the louder I talk! Not great to keep from waking a two year old! Although you can turn the feature on, the volume is very low, and there is a lag between your voice and the playback that makes it to distracting to be usable.If the mic monitoring is important to you, then I would have to recommend a pass on these. If you don't care about that feature, then I think the sound and features are excellent particularly given the price. I was able to get them on sale for $45! Certainly happy with them for that price!I will just have to learn to talk more softly ;-)

The packaging definitely looks like that of a maiden voyage to uncharted markets. If I saw the box sitting on a shelf I'd absolutely acquire it.The sound high quality is haunting. I honestly, couldn't think of a single a single. This headset... I don't even know exactly where to commence.This is just completely the most TERRIBLE headset I have evere owned in my life. It is Very uncomfortable following about just 10 minutes of use, and fits really akwardly on your head.The built in Microphone is garbage, I utilized it on Skype and Ventrilo and I could barely be heard, even following a hour tinkering with settings, and reading the manual that came with it, I was nevertheless incredibly faint and could barely be heard.This is overall the biggest waste of dollars I have ever encountered. I just received the headset nowadays. The construct excellent is excellent, material is fantastic, and the packaging by Corsair (once once more) is great. I tested out the volume but haven't installed the drivers however. Sound is wonderful and loud. Although the padding is quite comfortable the headset itself is as well tight on me. I would like to say that I usual size head and wearing this thing for a lot more than ten minutes has already created it really feel as well tight. I am attempting to stretch it out a bit to possibly loosen it. I will check back in a week to update this.
