Corsair HS1 Circumaural Headset
Cons: Don't buy it at normal price.

Pros: Very comfortableSounds amazing for a USB headsetMic very satisfactorySeems sturdy
Comment:
The sound is absolutely phenomenal for a USB headset. However, if you have a good sound card (obviously), the non-USB model does sound better, meaning the headphones are capable of producing better sound than what these provide. Regardless, extremely good sound. For the price (during sale or price matched), it's hard to beat. Probably impossible to beat, in fact. Very satisfied.

Corsair HS1 Circumaural Headset
Cons: --can't be used with other audio equipment without usb--mic is rather cheap

Pros: --incredible sound--very comfortable--excellent value
Comment:
These were an amazing purchase: I had no idea what I was missing. Good sound makes for an incredibly immersive gaming experience. These even do a great job with music and movies. The positional audio is quite impressive as well. This is a far cheaper way of getting decent sound than going with a reputable sound card and speakers--besides your neighbors and sleeping family members will be appreciative too.

Corsair HS1 Circumaural Headset
Cons: Feels heavy, doesn't quite fit on my head, folding ear cups makes it hard to put on your head with one hand

Pros: Large ear cups. Doesn't hurt the ears when wearing glasses, good sound, usb connection
Comment:
Picked this up on boxing day for 89.99 with an extra mail in rebate. However without thinking, I chucked the box before I did the rebate. So much for that. The earcups fit nicely over the ears, and the sound is good. I wear glasses when gaming and this doesn't pinch the ears like other headsets do. However it feels a bit on the heavy side to me, not a big issue. More annoying is that the ear cups fold, which means that when I try to put it on with one hand the earcups fold out of the way. Minor annoyance.

Corsair HS1 Circumaural Headset
Cons: volume buttons control Windows volume

Pros: good sound qualitycomfortablelong cable
Comment:
comfortable, I wear them for 2 hours watching a movie. Large cups. pretty loud but the bass is kinda weak. For playing games, the direction of sounds is distinctive enough but will take some getting used to.

Corsair HS1 Circumaural Headset
Cons: Could use more bass. Easily fixed with EQ tweaking.

Pros: -Great sound. Very comfortable.
Comment:
If anyone can find a better sounding headset for the money, I'd be interested in hearing it. I've been an value minded audiophile for a long time, and the performance that the HS1 offers for the money is extraordinary.

Corsair HS1 Circumaural Headset
Cons: -Volume control is too far from headset-Volume control changes level of windows sound instead of affecting only the headset-Mic picks up a lot of background noise leading to many reports of users complaining of "white noise" but muted mic will solve this

Pros: -Great sound over the whole spectrum-Comfortable, well padded, cloth and not fake leather-Easy install-Cord has good length and is all braided-Ear cups are large and offer effective noise canceling-Look great!
Comment:
Very happy about this headset, minor adjustments and a few seconds after plugging them in they were running great with all my games and apps.I once wore them for 4 hours without anything playing without realizing that I was wearing them. When there is something playing, it always sounds great! Corsair promised a great fidelity across the spectrum, and they delivered!I would definitely recommend this headset to everyone who are looking for an easy to use and complete headset. They look, they sound and they feel great.

Corsair HS1 Circumaural Headset
Cons: Heavy, Expensive, requires fine tuning

Pros: Durable, Loud, High quality cable, simple
Comment:
These head phones are awesome, I have had a pair about a 2 weeks now. With the exception of being on the heavier side there super comfortable. The heaviness comes from the ridged construction, and hinges. The biggest thing about these head phones is you have to fine tune them to your liking using the corsair drivers found on there form. Also play with the Dolby digital settings to find out what kinda of settings sound best. I found small padded room takes the tinniness right out of the speakers. But again, play with it.

Corsair HS1 Circumaural Headset
Cons: Microphone could be a little betterSoftware

Pros: ComfortableLong braided cordGood Sound/Simulated Surround SoundUSB
Comment:
This is a good headset for the price range it is in. It is very comfortable to wear for long periods of use and the ear pads are replaceable. The microphone is pretty good, although it would be better if it extended out further. Also, the boost on it can be an issue. The software is a bit spotty and was actually the cause of many headaches for me in getting this headset to perform in certain games at first.

Corsair HS1 Circumaural Headset
Cons: Had to Unlug/Plug once so far as they quit working after a Restart

Pros: Excellent clarity and Bassease of setuptight fit yet comfortable even while wearing glasses
Comment:
The quick start guide is lolzy. A pic of a CD in the Drive and plugging the USB plug into a USB Port. No words at all. It is 100% accurate though, pop the Driver CD in, a minute(ish) later a window pops up telling you to plug the Headphones in. Done.Very impressed with these. Music sounds great. Gaming was a little odd at first, until one time I took them off late at night worried that I had turned on my Speakers really loud by accident. That's when I figured out what that oddity was, it was that the Audio sounds like you're in a room surrounded(imagine that :D)by speakers. Would definitely purchase again.

Corsair HS1 Circumaural Headset
Cons: Small micwhite noise/buzzing

Pros: Comfortablelarge enoughgreat sound
Comment:
Had these about 2 weeks now and overall i'am impressed by them. The sound is great, you really can tell the direction the sound is coming from etc. There a little warm for me still but large and comfortable and much better them most headsets i've tried. Only compliants i have it the mic should be about one inch longer as another person mentioned, it is very short. Other thing for myself is I get a fairly loud humming noise when i turn on the mic so i can hear myself. This humming is noticable to others as well (reason why i turned it on is people in TS mentioned it was loud). Not sure whats causing this but tried switching usb ports even and its the same.

Corsair HS1 Circumaural Headset
Cons: Sometimes the drivers a glitchy - however it JUST came out and the drivers that are on the CD are the most current version.

Pros: Extremely comfortable, blocks out outside sound. Has simulated 5.1 and 7.1 sound that works well.
Comment:
Extremely comfortable, blocks out outside sound. Has simulated 5.1 and 7.1 sound that works well. I had to return the first pair I got - it just stopped working. With my first pair, the microphone was NOT sensitive at all and my friends said they could barely hear me - i should have seen the warning signs *lol* then one day it just stopped working all together. I got a replacement from NCIX and it seems to be working great! There are no more microphone sensitivity issues. The drivers that come with this are sometimes glitchy (it crashes) however it just came out (the drivers on the cd that come with the headphones are the most current)...hopefully a fix comes out soon (the problem is minor and only happens on rare occasions).

Comment:
Was looking to replace my old Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headset. I usually keep away from USB headsets since I have had software/driver issues and limitations with others I tried. However, with my front audio ports compromised via bad grounding, I figured I would give USB another try.Installation was simple and quick (windows 7 was able to detect and install the latest software/drivers without the CD). The software is clean and simple, offering easy access to all of the headphones features. The headphones themselves are comfortable and sound great. Sound reproduction is top-notch and the virtual surround sound is stellar. At first it was a little weird, but after I got used to the surround sound, I don't know how I lived without it. Its good to note, however, that the virtual surround sound can be turned off in the software (in case its needed). The mic boom stops too short and increases background noise because of this. Another inch would be perfect.Within games, the sound experience has definitely improved over stereo headphones. Sound directions are much more defined and provide you with the edge in tight situations. Movies using 5.1 or 7.1 sound way better than through stereo headphones. You can also enable Dolby Pro Logic IIx to up-mix stereo movies to 7.1 surround. Its not as good as true surround, but it gets the job done. Music sounds great, even without using Dolby Pro Logic. If you are looking for a great pair of headphones for around $100, these are the ones. Highly Recommended!Oh, did I mention these are made by Corsair and therefore will have amazing customer support from Ram Guy and the rest of the Corsair team?!

Corsair HS1 Circumaural Headset
Cons: It is a USB interface which can be a weakness to some users. Not to me though. Other than this, not much I can find.

Pros: VERY comfortable to have on for hours unend. It is designed to be a "semi-closed" headset. You don't get the pleather on the earcups, instead you get a felt-like material which is much more comfortable on your ears for long durations.
Comment:
Great headset all around. Forgot Razer, Forget Steelseries. Corsair has really outdone themselves. The driver software included is nice too and the voice effects settings are fun to mess around with. Sound and microphone quality is excellent for Skype and Ventrilo/gaming. Definitely a premium product.

Corsair HS1 Circumaural Headset
Cons: USB means no adding a much needed sub. Software could be less obscure to use. Software ONLY avail on incl CD. Box is a pain to open. Some glitches.

Pros: Comfortable, great mic, spacious and accurate sound.
Comment:
A great, comfortable, true-HIFI headset. Very comfortable, if a little tight-fitting and heavy. Music sounds spectacular and deep in Dolby 7.1 mode, which is what you will use 95% of the time it sounds so great.Gaming was great, but there simply is not enough bass. I have a bass shaker, but being USB I couldn't task it to the same audio output. Bummer. Switching WMP between the headset and speakers was a pain too.The software gliched out and would reverse my audio in my game on occasion, I suspect W7 was the real culprit, but being USB meant I had to fix an issue that doesn't exist in onboard analog outs.A spectacular value for the fidelity, one of the best headsets you can buy...as long as you have no other audio devices you want to use that the same time.Still gets 5 stars, just make sure you really can put up with the clean but limited bass these offer.

Corsair HS1 Circumaural Headset
Cons: the configuration software could be better.. although very little configuration is needed

Pros: 7.1 virtual surround effect on these headphones is very immersion. Bad Company 2 has never felt this amazing. The headphones are also very comfortable to wear
Comment:
for the price this is the best you'll find. Corsair outdid themselves on this pair. Comfortable, high quality, very good virtual surround and i can wear them for hours without any pain, hair pulling and very little 'ear sweat'.. those of you who have bought those awful pleather headphone cups know what i'm talking about.

Corsair HS1 Circumaural Headset
Cons: -there is a little bit of white noice when the volume is on-in software widing the room size to give more of the effect of sounds coming more pronounced from different locations lowers sound quality in 7.1 sound mode-bass somewhat lacking without raising volume and if all you want to do is add more bass you'll have to make your own custom bass profile through software equalizer (strength is this can be done)-does not block much outside sound (this isn't a weakness to me personally)

Pros: -amazing sound quality-very comfortable-Gives the feeling of sound coming from speakers in the room rather than on your head-sound quality so nice you'll want to watch your blu-ray collection again to hear the difference-sound so precise and clear that were sounds I couldn't hear or didn't startle till using these headphones-software options-has many effects, you can change your voice through the mic using provided software-person boring you, you can change the voices you year from them as they are chatting with you through software provided
Comment:
I've owned many headphones and I believe for the nice paid that these can not be beat. My biggest dislike is the small sound of white noise when not playing any sounds at all. Do not notice the white noise when playing any content or when sound is muted. The best part of these headphones is the amazing sound quality in it's default state. The comfort is great due to the around the ear design and soft memory foam against the head. Also it should be noted the mic by default is set to almost off, you'll want to raise the mic to near max volume for chatting purposes. People have commented on the very good sound quality with the mic.
