Very quick and no issues while they both worked. I woke up to my gaming machine beeping annoyingly. Took a piece of ram out and it booted commonly. I place the ram i took out back in by itself and yep, it was bad. I've had ram last 8 years. I want I had all four gigs working in time for starcraft two. Guess I'll obtain a different 2 gig stick for 50 even even though it's been two years since I originally bought these... gotta match ram! bummer. |

Limited by old mobo to 8GB! At some point when I upgrade to a DDR3 method, i'll definately contemplate Corsair memory. |

I added this 4GB to my Motherboard Asus P5K with 2GB RAM and Core2 Duo running at 3GHZ (not much of an overclocker) after upgrading from my very slow loading Vista to Windows 8 Home premium. Wow what a difference Win 8 make when combined with 6GB RAM. Loads in 27 seconds flat. Vista would take over 5 minutes and sometimes lomger just to load and be ready to be used. Could not be happier. |

I bought these when I built my computer system, so I don't know the big effect they likely have on my system.I've in no way OC'd, but the stock efficiency is quite outstanding. Wonderful gaming speeds for me. None They have definately held their value as nicely, two years later and they nevertheless cost twice as much as I paid on Black Friday. |

It functions as advertised at stock settings. I was a bit disappointed although that I couldn't ever clock these even a small bit without obtaining BSD's. I tried all diverse kinds of settings. They are installed in an Asus Rampage mobo which of course if incredibly "tweakable" but I could not locate a working overclock for these sticks. Like I stated, they operate perfectly at stock settings, but don't consider you'll be able to OC much. Couldn't even get them to 450MHz, oh effectively. |

I employed the 4 GB of memory in a new create. It worked properly, as expected. The reputation of Corsair is outstanding and I was totally happy with the operation of the memory sticks. When I purchased my memory there was a ษ rebate, but it was supplied in the kind of a Citi credit card. I got this confirmation: "Thank you for participating in the Corsair TWIN2X4096-6400C5C ษ Rebate at Newegg.com and Newegg.ca promotion." It is my understanding that if I use this card (I won't), it automatically opens a Citi account in my name, complete with automatic costs. I contemplate this tactic to be dishonest and abusive of good consumers. I adore Newegg, but this type of rebate could drive me away. wonderful memory whilst in package i don't even know exactly where to start. continual memory dump due to poor sectors in memory. sent out to corsair received new, oops it did it once again i feel like a bed Britney spears song. the memory keep getting bad sectors. no matter how several time you test you will get a large fat fail message. don't bother with corsair or a replacement it will just do it once more. Hope it doesn't fail for the duration of start out up i can cause harm to your start up files. Don't seriously know what they where thinking I have never ad difficulties with their memory. but now i will assume twice prior to acquiring their ram. |

Trusted nearly all of the time. Longterm safety. Newer modules had some difficulties in some slots I have had this memory in my Shuttle XPC prima for two years I consider and it usually often served me properly. Not too long ago I bought a different pair to double my mem from 4 to eight and had actual troubles with stability. It was most likely just a fluke, so I can't bash the memory. Points happen. I returned the strange pair and am back to just 4GB, but it functions perfectly. |
