update july 12 after 4 month , finally got my rebate,so final price is more or less $17 for 4 gb, very happy with my purchasewell finally got my kit after waiting for 2 weeks (processing and shipping),but it was worth the wait, common, $15 for 4 gb of ram, you cannot beat that,i know a lot of people hate mail in rebate, but personally i got 100% return, it just takes time (months sometimes) and a bit a fighting occasionally,installed the 2 sticks and no problem running with my e6420 c 3.2ghz (8x400)it only shows 3.5gb of ram, but that is to be expected with xp pro 32 bit, going to upgrade to windows 7 64bit eventually,i tried vista 64, but it was terrible experience (bsod) This review was modfied by poster @ 07-12-09 07:36 PM |

Very pleased with this ram, not the fastest timings but run at rated speed at 1.8 volt as it should.I would definitely consider these again especially for the price (assuming my MIR comes through). Not really fond of MIR idea but it makes it a very good value. |

Cons:Heat shield only, not a heat sink. Not the greatest clocking. Must practice extreme patience for your MIR rebate.

These are a good deal only when it's ~30ish or below (of course, I missed the crazy $15 deal!). However, I wish Corsair would just drop the price rather than have MIR after MIR after MIR. Thus, if you want it, but it's not on sale - just wait! Haven't tried oc'ing it, but it seems to keep up with FSB bumps well. Bought these on sale for $14.99 after $30 rebate which is a great deal! I haven't ever seen 4GB of RAM from a reliable company for less. Works great in my EP35-DS3L Gigabyte motherboard with e7200 cpu. I had 2GB before and after upgrade to 4GB on Windows XP 32bit have noticed games/windows has been a little bit faster/smoother. Great buy! |

I bought these last week and got them a few days ago.I installed them in an Asus M2A-VM motheboard and they work, no problem.My idea was to move from 4x1GB of Crucial Rendition (with no heat spreaders) to these, so I could free up 2 slots on my motherboard in case I want to switch to a 64 bit operating system (Windows or Ubuntu) and add more memory later.They work fine so far. I think these would be more stable for overclocking.I overclocked my Athlon 64 4800 (Brisbane) from 2.5GHz to 2.875GHz and it's doing just fine.PS. I sold the 4 sticks of the Crucial Rendition to a guy down the hall in my apartment building for $15. Gave him a good deal, since this kit was on sale for $19.99 after the rebate. I was lucky enough to purchase the 4GB pair when it was offered for the post-rebate price of $14.99. My reason for purchasing this was to upgrade my 2GB system to 4GB with my Vista Business x64 install. I heard the hype of running vista with 4 gigs installed and I wanted to see it in action. The result? Programs were loading faster, the previous lag I was sensing in games running in vista was pretty much eliminated, windows itself was running smoothly. No complaints with these right out of the box, they work fine with my DFI Blood Iron T2RL motherboard coupled with my E6750 CPU. Worked right out of the box, just plugged it in and off it went. Seems pretty stable and the motherboard detected as much as it could. Mail in rebate submission seems to have gotten lost by Canada Post though so out of luck there.
